  1. I had to stay away from all grains at first. Then I started buying gluten-free rice, It's ok as long as I don't eat too much. I have not eaten any gluten-free oats. Kinda afraid to. I think after figuring out my corn intolerance I am just afraid to eat too many grains. So I have limited it to Rice once in a while. I try not to eat pre packaged foods. Sometimes...
  2. Have you tried smoothies? There is a ton of super healthy smoothies on line. They pack a bunch of vitamins. Your allergy to lactose wow I do feel for you. Intolerance is one thing but allergy is something you probably will never get it back. I fell the same way you do sometimes. But then after wards I pull my big girl panties up and get over it. Just eat...
  3. Only thing is they are comparing gluten free Processed products like noodles and cookies and such. They are not looking at the Natural foods. Going Gluten Free and not eating a ton of gluten-free processed products I think is healthier. But thats just my opinion.
  4. Yea I don't like peroxide but I guess I can use that instead of nothing until I get a good tooth paste. Thanks so very much! I will check them out
  5. Does anyone know of one?? I really react to corn. My gums are tore apart from tooth paste. I know it's the tooth paste because I will just brush my teeth without it for a few days if i'm not going any where, and they start to heal. If I'm going somewhere I brush with tooth paste and bam! Bright red and sore gums.

  12. Great recipe Bartful! I like to just put it in a Baking dish with butter, a lil lemon and what ever seasonings you like , could be garlic, rosemary, the seasonings are endless Sounds great! Maby I will make some fish I also wanted to add I don't think they use table salt in canned goods. so it's not a source of Iodine, most restaurants don't use table salt...
  13. What eles you can do to while waiting for for test and appointments? Take up a hobby! Start crocheting or knitting, painting, reading good books. Don't scare yourself into anything. The net can be a scary place. Let the Drs. do their job. Give them your ideas and such and tell them you have read up. But the test's will tell. you can drive yourself crazy thinking...

  22. Sweet!! It does contain one of the gums tho. But I believe it's at the bottom of the list of ingredients. So I didn't worry about it. I went to Kroger tp buy some Pamela's gluten-free all purpose flour mix but they didn't have any! Pfft! So I got Glutino's gluten-free All purpose flour mix. Not sure I like it, it also has a gum in it. I read that when going...
