ARCHIVED Hotel Waffle Makers With gluten-free Waffle Mix?
w8in4dave replied to SMRI's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
I would never trust someone ele's cleaning a waffle iron and using it for gluten-free. Not even myself!! I take a more natural approach, Like suggested above take a small unit to cook your own or just take some fruit and yogurt or like stated above some toaster sleeves and your own bread. It's not hard just a lil inconvenient. But really it isn't that confusing... -

ARCHIVED Strange Question But I'm Curious...
w8in4dave replied to Sbwife14's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
My gut is still big. Even tho I lost 40 lbs going gluten-free. I think it's because of trace amounts of Intolerance foods. I think I need to go on a gluten-free. Auto Immune diet. <--- I think thats right. Because trace amounts of things do bother me. Corn, soy , Lactose , I know they are intolerances so I sometimes will let it slide if it's in aintolerance... -
My thought is, when they say something is Gluten Free it is not truly " Free" it can have trace amounts. So you may be cannot tolerate those trace amounts. Like some people can tolerate gluten-free Oatmeal and some cannot. Everyone reacts to different stuff. You may have some other intolerance, you said your Lactose intolerance comes and goes. you may be...

w8in4dave replied to egger's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I agree! I don't use conditioner because I have thin hair. It was always dull, asked a friend of mine how her hair stayed so shiny , she said argon oil, I was afraid thinking it was more for african american, but it is what they call a dry oil. It does NOT make your hair too greasy it soaks in and shines it! I go back and forth between argon oil and Chi oil... -

w8in4dave replied to hcardwell1993's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Yes your body will go thru a withdrawal, Do you have ins.? Maby you should get tested for Celiac? I think it is important that people get tested when they know they have an intolerance. That way you won't say "Ohh ok Pizza tonight! Then I will be good!" Because you'll know it's Celiac and not an intolerance. Anyway if you choose to get tested you need to...- 2 replies
