    No way on Gawd's green earth I'm ever eating gluten again. It all but took away 25 years of my life. And I don't want a pill that is gonna tinker with my immune system--I've got enough problems with it.....

    I agree, Bun and I want to clarify so I don't look like a meanie. lol I'm in no way against probiotics, just sharing my own experience cuz, really that's all I got I actually have two friends who do great with them and swear by them-- whatever works for ya!

    I was found to have a hiatal hernia during a follow up endo. It sometimes causes me to cough, hiccup (at times together ), and after a big meal it does seem a little hard to breathe--as though like there is pressure from below. I was glad I had the endo done because it answered why these things were happening--I never thought much of them.

    Oh Jess, I'm sorry about the chicks and yes, when something like that is happening you kind of act on instinct and your physical feelings take a back seat to the emotional ones. I am sending warm, positive thoughts that the wee ones will somehow pull through. Keep us posted and take care of that back;)

    Hi Josh, I think it is the Klonopin contributing to your fatigue. It is an anti-anxiety med, classified as a sedative. Fatigue/tiredness is a side effect. You are also correct, in that it may also be causing anxiety--called "rebound anxiety". It can also cause depression. When weaning off, do so very slowly (very slowly) and you will be fine.     Thanks Lisa:). That is interesting. I've never been able to tolerate them myself, and 3 gastroenterologists I have seen told me they are not necessary in my case when I have asked about them.

    We really do have some kind of weird food thing going on! It happens that I am making a ham, rib roast, and green beans with almond butter sauce (among other things). So, what do you think we should make tonight? lol

    We are having 7 for Christmas dinner-- I'm making 3 pies (pecan, chocolate cream and mince), chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies dipped in chocolate, plus the biscotti I ordered from the gluten-free bakery.
