  4. I don't know of a dish soap, but here is a link to Dakota Free, which makes a soap without nuts/coconut-- Open Original Shared Link Their customer service is very good--maybe they could help you
  5. I've had Redbridge. I'm not a big beer drinker (prefer wine) but it was light and crisp. I liked it.
  6. Congratulations!!! Just amazing news to hear--isn't it something how many things we didn't realize were even affected by gluten? I could always walk fine, but I was just too tired to most of the time due to the severe anemia (that was always attributed by the doctors as because I was female). What freedom to be able to go from doing one thing to...
  7. One of those gems you'll only see here!
  8. They're not like Chapstick--they're more like a cross between a lipstick and gloss. They range in color from clear to very saturated deep reds and pinks. http://www.burtsbees.com/natural-products/...ip-shimmer.html The tocopherol they use is from soy.
  9. It's different for everyone--gluten hits me after a few hours. Your symptoms could be the result of an allergy. An allergist can do skin testing--it's also possible to be both intolerant and allergic. With your breathing and chest symptoms, I think it's a good idea to have it checked out.
  10. Burt's Bees lip shimmers are gluten-free. I see them at just about every drug store, even grocery stores now.
  11. "Christmas Twee" I remember very well the pic of Skit's handiwork wif the terlit paper--so phunny!!
  12. Where I come from "bless her heart" is a way of conveying empathy. I must be careful how I use it from now on When we lived in the south, instead of saying "next Wednesday" people (older, especially) would say "Wednesday next". I actually think things like that are charming
  13. So phunny this business wif the TP. My husband likes the "underfeed" while I grew up with the "over the top". I've come to like the underfeed and have adopted it's use.
  14. Yes!! I'm bound to offend someone here but since we're on the subject anyway.....the phrase "good to go" sets my teeth on edge.
  15. I called the company about these bars when Starbucks began substituting them for the orange cake. The man there told me that they are made on the same equipment as oats but there's no cross contact with wheat, barley or rye. Might you be reacting to the oats? I didn't try them as I'm positive I would.
  16. I'm worried too, Nik. I've missed you Hope you find an appropriate meat, Jan-it We dodged a bullet--could have gotten 7+ inches of rain yesterday/today but only ended up getting 2 or so from some disturbance in the Gulf.....it's still grumbling thunder, but should start clearing up soon.
  17. <sigh> Tis a tough job, Em, but somebody's gotta do it
