  1. I use Feria by Loreal. I contacted the company and was told there was no gluten whatsoever in the product.
  2. Wow--I never knew that! Good to know--thanks
  3. Yes. tonight is part one--finishing tomorrow night. Celiac next week!!!
  4. No, it won't burn off. You could clean the grill very well before grilling your food, or use foil.

  6. It's funny--I didn't watch House until I joined the forum here and people began talking about the infamous Celiac episode. Now, I'm hooked, and so is my husband. Speaking of , Tiff, glad to see you smiling!
  7. I think that there is a lot of fiber in 3 apples, and that coupled with coffee probably did you in. Hope you feel better fast!
  8. Yippee!! I think you're really going to like it--let us know
  9. Hi Julie--I used Proactiv for years. I loved it! I am now beginning to go through menopause , and my skin is much dryer and has stopped breaking out (finally!) I stopped using it last year. I only used the cleanser as an everyday thing. I used the repairing lotion when needed. It took trial and error to realize that the toner was too strong for me...
  10. I don't have a recipe, but The Gluten Free Pantry makes an angel food cake mix. I have not tried that mix, but all of the others of theirs that I have tried were excellent.
  11. There was an article about this event in my local paper this morning (The Burlington County Times)--you can read all about it here-- Open Original Shared Link
  12. Thanks Mme--I have seen the mixes at Whole Foods, but didn't know anything about them--now I will definately try!

    ARCHIVED Gi Appointment Update

Good for you for walking out! He was arrogent, and did not listen to you--you do know more about this than he does
  14. Early on I learned this the hard way, too! I always have food with me--even if I'm just going shopping and don't plan to be out until the next mealtime, I have something in my purse. I usually have an Envirokidz bar, a Lara Bar and some water with me just in case
  15. Thank you, Michael, for this! I have not found a gluten-free butterscotch pudding mix! I tried making some from scratch--it tasted good, but did not thicken up--sort of a butterscotch smoothie
  16. My MIL swears by vitamin C!
  17. Oh Tiff--that is wonderful!!! You must be so-o-o excited How long will he be home? It's normally on at 9PM Eastern.
  18. Exactly, and this may explain why it seem doctors go out of their way to NOT diagnose Celiac!
  19. Betty--the only vinegars I know of that are NOT gluten-free are the afore mentioned malt, and a vinegar called Apple Cider FLAVORED Vinegar. I use Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar--distilled is ok as is wine.
  20. I use Ener-g Pure Rice Flour. Also their Potato Starch.
  21. Carla-- I always call to check on "natural flavor" when considering a product for the first time. That is an ingredient that could contain gluten. Sorry, I don't have any knowledge of Hidden Valley.
  22. Actually, there is such a thing as corn gluten. Of course, this is not the gluten we have to be concerned with as Celiacs. I've gotten this response from companies (including drug companies) before--I think they are just being honest.
  23. Hi Texas--MSG does not contain gluten..Some people have reactions to it, and it's not really good for anybody IMO, but from a strictly gluten standpoint, it's fine. Kraft will list any gluten--if it states "modified food starch" and nothing else after it, it's safe. * If* it had gluten it would say "modified food starch (wheat). It does seem overwhelming...
