  1. :D Oh yeah, the Delphi--I checked that out years ago but never went back.
  2. With how sick he was, it's gonna take a few more days to get his strength back. Don't know which one you mean--I peruse one other forum from time to time but never post. I like the feel over here
  3. My husband also eats gluten-free meals at home but is not anywhere near gluten-free. About avoiding a food for a long period of time and possibly becoming sensitive upon reintroducing--just my experience, I was completely dairy free for almost 6 years. I reintroduced it about a year or so ago with no problems whatsoever. I think that if there were to...
  4. Maybe that's it then
  5. Between this and FB tonight I wouldn't be surprised Or maybe I'm just losing my grip
  6. Must be gluten awareness night on CBS
  7. I could have sworn I just replied to this.....strange things are happening tonight in cyberspace...... Anyway, thanks for this Karen. I came back to report that just now on "Two and a Half Men", Alan offered his girlfriend a gluten-free pretzel.
  8. Glad he's better--probably even more so after a good night's sleep.
  9. The very best I've had is The Gluten Free Pantry French Bread and Pizza Mix. Each box makes 3 round pizza crusts, the dough freezes well, and it's easy to mix up. I spent years trying this recipe and that, and this is the easiest and best as far as I'm concerned.
  10. Leftover Tink spaghetti and sausage.....will be alone since husband has a meeting and I can be lazy!
  11. Yep--our phamily too. With me it was rice (of all things), Mark--german chocolate cake, and our son swears he will never again eat apple pie. I eat rice now, but from 5th grade till I was probably in my early 20's I wouldn't go near it.
  12. I hope he feels better soon, Karreighn. That is miserable, poor kid
  13. I use either Extra Strength Tylenol or Extra Strength Bufferin. Did your headache start after you went gluten-free?
  14. I had a bout with the flu in late 2003 that without a doubt kicked my Celiac into high gear. I was never the same after that.
  15. I've been making these for the last several years--I store them in a Tupperware container and they don't fall apart. They bake up and taste just like "regular" ones-- SUGAR COOKIES 1 cup shortening 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 3 cups rice flour blend (I simply use 2 cups of rice flour and one cup of potato starch--I'm intolerant to tapioca...
  16. I have no idea what to make tonight--may do breakfast for dinner. Pancakes and sausage
  17. Shroomie--fer PeOter Sawyer's sake there is nothing to forgive! Ok...we're finally going to get our NJ drivers licenses tomorrow (there's actually a DMV near here that's open Saturday mornings) and I could not be happier. My TexAss license photo was the absolute worst pic ever--very mug-shot. The lady yelled at me about where to stand (after waiting...
  18. I know that many larger grocery stores here in the east have Pacific Foods Almond and Rice Milks. I've used them and they're very good. Since the cartons are shelf stable until opened, you could also stock up on them when you do go to Whole Foods.
  19. You have a great outlook on the whole thing--onward and upward!
  20. Hee! Rash-shell said "wif" in the what's fer dinner thread
  21. Ener-g makes a rectangular cracker-- Open Original Shared Link In my opinion, the best tasting gluten-free crackers are Glutino, but those are round.
  22. I agree with everyone that I'm sorry you have to go through this again but you will be much better off without him. Take care
  23. Rash-shell!!! Talk to Nik--she and her phamily holiday in Turkey!
