    Effem who makes M & M's is just like Kraft and Hershey. They will disclose if the product is even made in a factory that produces wheat or gluten products. As they have told me they are made in a separate facility and I have never been glutened by them and I am highly sensitive.

    All coke products are gluten-free, remember you need to have all makeup, shampoo's, lotions etc., gluten-free.     I have not seen those around here. I was at the new "Planet Organic" that just opened up close to my house and they have tons of good gluten-free stuff. Lots of Glutino stuff, I got one of the small Glutino spinach it was great. I will have to look for the cookies next time.

    As Carla said if you have DH then you are Celiac. Not all celiac's get it but only celiacs get it. Welcome to the forum. I know of another person whose major back problems and his only symptom was the cause of this disease.

    Are you positively sure that she is totally gluten-free? Is there gluten in the house? Have you checked for hidden gluten and have you made sure all lotions, creams, shampoo's , conditioners etc are totally gluten-free? Is she in a day care when she could have contact with gluten? Gluten hides in places you would never expect to find it.

    I am sorry you feel like crap. Maltodextrin is different than malt by the way and ok. The other thing you can do is get ground turkey meat and make your own burgers. My brother makes Porkin burgers, he uses ground pork and ground chicken and they are great and contain no gluten.

    Welcome to the forum and to the world of Celiac disease. Now, I am not a doctor but it sure sounds like Celiac to me or gluten intolerant. Which is pretty well the same as Celiac. Let us know how the tests turn out and there is lots of great info and people in this forum.

    They are especially good bbq'd. The ones that are tougher would have to be marinated and some remind me of fishes so, those get cooked in lemon garlic butter and lemon pepper seasoning. Why pay more for your meat.
