    It was closed for a few days during the rat scare at the taco bell?? It was in a certain vincinity to the over run rat infested place, so they closed the whole area down for a double check.. that was a while ago now.. I am sure they are reopened.. they never had a problem that I know about, it was more precautionary

    I would go onto their website and contact the company. If you dont want to complain directly.. usually its just an email situation.. they might send you some gift certs for another dinner. I have gotten cc quite a few times at carrabas.. I think they are just too busy around here to take proper care of the food the way we need it.. I tend to stay away...

    No, you are not guilty. My house was a gluten free zone house for while when I went gluten free. All meals that I cooked (ie, dinner) are gluten free, but I let hubby have sandwich bread, Nacho Cheese Doritos (that one flavor has to be his favorite right??) and a bag of cookies...then we realized I was still getting a bit sick.. most likely from the computer...

    Freeze it. I also slice it and freeze them individually, I also dont eat bread like I used to. that is my only solution so far

    I have never seen brown rice flour at an Asian market. I buy rice, sweet rice, tapioca starch and potato starch all at the asian market, you can also get corn starch really cheap. I hope that helps some

    I have to add in my yearly read, The Thornbirds.. love it. I read about a novel a week, barnes and noble LOVE me. whenever i get gifts its always a barnes and noble gift card.. go figure? lol.

    Thats a good idea too. We just took Colin off of dairy a few weeks ago, due to constipation problems. And since soy milk, voila... problem solved.. that makes a difference too. Thanks for all ideas and suggestions.. I will just keep plowing away.. at least I know I am not alone in this!! Thanks everyone!

    I have all of a sudden gotten this acne like mess on my face.. not pimples.. well maybe they are, just red bumps all down one side of my face, under my eye. They are annoying, my face makeup covers them when I want them covered, but I dont know why this is happening all of a sudden... could it be DH?

    Colin is gluten free and has been since birth, by choice. We are having the genetic tests done in June, but even then he will live a gluten free existance, as gluten in any form is not allowed in my house. But thanks for the info. If he was getting CC, I would be sick too, we eat the same things and share most of our food...

    Thanks Carla, I needed to hear words of reassurance. I know its tough for Colin not being able to talk yet, they wont give us speech therapy yet, he doesnt do enough imitation stuff for that. He has early intervention for OT, PT, and DT. just not speech yet, so he cant verbalize what he wants.. I will continue to try what I am doing. thanks And...

    I make GFP favorite sandwich bread.. I dont know if it has dairy or what in it though, I just made it and the garbage already went out.. but we use it for grilled cheese, and it makes great breadcrumbs for the heels of the bread... yumm

    I use Rachel Rays ideas a lot in my cooking. I also found it very easy to sub our gluten free stuff for her gluten stuff. I dont watch as much lately, my son is finally realizing I think that Rachel isnt his mommy!!! LOL

    I had the popcorn at a recent event I went to (shame on me, I didnt ask before hand) and I didnt get sick. I dont suggest that anyone try that way.. could have turned out bad, it didnt, but you never know!
