  1. Mmmm, what a nice, easy sounding quick dinner or snack! Must try asap!
  2. Looking for a gluten-free drugstore brand lipstick... like L'Oréal, revlon, cover girl, maybelline, and such. Believe it or not, I've never checked and I've supposedly been gluten-free since 2008. Wow do I feel stupid.
  3. I need to try them all! I tried the cinnamon sugar ones and was sad they weren't flavored on both sides, or maybe it was only half of them were flavored?... Regardless of that fact, they weren't flavorful enough for my taste. I wanted more of an old fashioned cinnamon and sugar Life cereal experience! I've gotten used to eating trail mix for breakfast, or...
  4. I know this is an old thread, but I had a piece of advice.... Chill the mixture until cold before making the balls of dough. Helps them from spreading like crazy.
  5. Can't wait to try!
  6. Looks delicious! Do you figure you can use regular cheese instead?
  7. I love mushrooms. I'll give this a shot! Thanks! Now I just have to keep it away from one of my cats who adores mushrooms too.
  8. My husband came up with a delicious, easy to make recipe.... Basically it's frozen French fries topped with a cheese sauce, meat and salsa. And Avocados in my case. We get chicken breasts, usually fairly inexpensive, or a London broil or skirt steak that's on sale. Pound your meat thin. Dust your chicken or steak with a mixture of salt, pepper, garlic...
  9. Thanks for the tips. I miss pizza soooo much. There is a local place that makes gluten-free pizza but after a reaction I don't trust them anymore. Searching for a gluten-free frozen is so hard for me as I can't justify the cost. It's very expensive. If it was for one of my kids I would do it, but it's just for me and I can eat something else, lol.
  10. How horribly scary! Have you spoken to your regular doctor about this yet? My doc here and the hospital are linked so I don't need to worry about letting them know, but perhaps you should call and make sure yours was notified.
  11. Did you roast it like you roast a turkey?
  12. I completely skipped that! I'm amazed ppl have the time to do such things.
  13. Wow, can't wait to look them up and order some. Please let us know how they taste!
  14. Have the results come back yet?
  15. How very scary! So glad you figured it out. My husband had perforated diverticulitis and it was the worst thing ever. Symptoms were similar to yours. Is there a treatment for uc?
  16. Sorry this is happening to you! Once, after I saw a newborn trying to get their moms attention because they were hungry, I started lactating! I had not been nursing for 2 years..... I had milk for 2-3 years after that occurrence. Obgyn said it was normal. The body sometimes does weird things, but it's always good to clear with your docs! Let us know what...
  17. All these short, difficult to understand replies from today's new member are kinda funny.
  18. I just want to say how terrifying that must have been, and still is, I'm sure. You guys are in my prayers. This site is terrifically helpful and I'm glad you found it. The best of luck to you all.
  19. This person joined today and posted over 20 replies, making medical claims that are rather nonsensical.... cycling lady might have it right that she's using a poor translation program.
  20. I agree. She joined today and most of her 26 posts are offering medical advice that is a bit odd.
  21. Sadly they don't have any way to treat the nerve cluster except for meds. Tried physical therapy but it just drained my bank account.
  22. I've been gluten-free for over 8 years, and when I'm tired or busy I still mess up. I put 2 and 2 together when the next morning I can't go to the bathroom! Unless I am at work (I guess I'm pretty ditzy) I don't even notice the brain fog, lol! So don't beat yourself up, and just learn from it and move on. Hugs!
