  1. I use the glue stick while at work, it works great. I have never been a big licker because I am always the clumsy one who got her tongue/lips cut at home, Hubbie does the bills and mailing so I can't help whether or not they contain anything. I just have heard from most people they have wheat so I figured it wasn't worth the problems. Besides, its not as...
  2. I have a cup of them sitting on my desk, no problems here either
  3. I work in a hospital, in an oncology area and I see what chemo does to people. It effects everyone differently, and I think he has every right to choose if he does not want to go on with further treatments. My finace went through chemo 5 years ago, and he is still dealing with the effects it had on his body, some which are never going to go away. I don't...
  4. I bought Wegmans french fries since there a big sale last week, their bag has the gluten free G on it. They were very good, too.

  6. My hair grew back, it stopped falling out rapidly almost instantly once I went gluten-free. I was breathing the sign of relief. It really scared me when my hair started coming out in chunks.
  7. Haagen Dazs creme brulee...I keep pints of that in my freezer. The best comfort food. Carla I am sorry to hear you can no longer have it.
  8. I couldn't find it at Wegmans, but my finace found it for me at Giant. I am actually sitting here typing with one hand and scooping cereal into the other. It is very tasting and addicting.
  9. I work in a hospital, and at the time the blood was drawn on me, I was a lab tech. I work at a big hospital but we send special tests outside and this was one of them. It went to AML
  10. My endomysial antibody was 41, it was off the charts. <20---negative 20-30 weak positive >30 strong positive
  11. Hi Everyone, I have been searching but could not come up with anything about any gluten free dining/menu options in Washington DC. I have a conference down there on the 23rd and will be staying there until the 26th. My finace is going and we are trying to go out both Friday and Saturday nights as well as Sunday morning. We are staying down by the white house...
  12. I eat the white cheese, organic Doritioes made by Frito-lay, safe ingredients and your fingers don't get the orange dust all over them. They taste good too.
  13. The Hotel Hershey (up on the hill) has a gluten free menu!!! I actually live here. PM me if you want to get in touch I can give you all the other hints to the area. Amanda
  14. I have braces and have used it with no problems.
  15. I used to be a lab tech and it was called B12 and like someone suggested have the folate checked as well. It can be run off the same vile of blood. 98% of the time I saw Dr's ordering those tests together. RBC is not something that would show if your B12 levels are high/low. RBC just is looking at your blood counts in general, for the WBC if they are too...
  16. I had the beef stroganof meal in a cup which is the same as the skillet meal only transportable. It was very good. It was very nice on winter evenings when i was too lazy to cook a meal.
  17. I grew up without an ice cream truck as well....and saw one for the first time about a year ago....My finace thought I was crazy I just got real excited....this was in my good ole gluten days. Now the ice cream truck doesn't excite me....everything is pricey too!
  18. I could not live without Starbucks either, and they have one at the Hospital I work at so every morning I go get my drink which I swear gets me through the day
  19. I had cocoa pebbles for lunch today...(too lazy to cook last night so I have no left-overs) I never had problems with fruit pebbles or the cocoa ones either.

  21. Before I knew I had celiac my hair was literally falling out in handfuls in the shower and while I brushed it. I kept thinking I was tying it up on my head too tight. Well after always leaving it down and it still happened I began to worry. My sister who has long hair too said don't worry Long hair always falls out...After a few months of gluten free eating...
  22. I am glad to hear this, I bought a beef stew on Sunday and I packed it for lunch today...I carefully opened this message to be relieved to see it is gluten free. Now I feel better about making it. Thanks Guys!
  23. The wegmans is gluten free and it is very good. I had it over the weekend and I was impressed. The bottle was on sale too I paid 99 cents for it. Alot of people on here like Kraft and that says alot, plus Kraft is a very safe company. Hope that helps.
  24. I used to buuy Amy's at Fox's, health food store and sometimes I got it at Wegmans, never paid more than $6 for it. I was always happy with it. Now Grainless baker makes a pre-made pizza and I buy that for $5 and it is so yummy!!!!
  25. Nini-I love the grainless baker graham crackers! They are so good. I tried the EnerG ones and they were decent. The Grainless Baker melt in your mouth and they are thicker so they would be good for crumbling.
