    Maybe the doctor just wants to confirm the diagnosis with the biopsy. I asked about this on a thread once. Since my father and my son have been diagnosed through blood and biopsy, is it necessary for my youngest to have a biopsy if his blood should come back positive. It is up to you.     I never knew that the ingredient "malt" may not be from barley but from corn. So if you see "malt" and it is the only "bad" ingredient, call and ask what it is derived from.

    How gluten light were you? I just had my blood tested and I tested negative. I eat about 50% gluten free. Of course I understand that most of the people on this forum either have Celiac or have a loved one who does, or both.     Nancy, Is this one just a mix you can mix in a bowl and pour in a bread pan? I know some recipes require a bread machine. We had tried the Gluten Free Pantries Sandwich Bread mix and it was good but still a little dense and fell apart easily during storage. How is Pamelas? Nicole

    I saw this with my son after I thought he was gluten free (turned out he wasn't, misscommunication with Chinese take out ). We would call it the feeding frenzy because he would go from one thing to the next and it was weird, it was almost like the more he ate the more he wanted. Once the frenzy stopped he would be ok for a while. Nicole

    I do not use oral-B but another mother on this forum stated the other day that Oral-B will not commit to being gluten free. I am not sure exactly what that mean. But I would be careful, call the 1-800 number first and ask them. If they will not commit then don't use it. Look for the topic about toiletries. Thank is where I read it. Nicole

    It is funny because my son Jacob (dianosed a year ago at 4) always had horrible cases of the croup. We went to the emergency room several times because I could not get his breathing under control. He went gluten free a year ago and during last winter (first winter gluten free) he had no episodes. Interesting, never thought there might be a connection....

    Depending on what you prefer to drink, beverages have been easy for us. Obviously milk is gluten free as it any 100 % juice I have checked on. My son does not drink soda but Coke and Pepsi are gluten free.     From what I have seen the Orida fries that are plain are gluten free but the onces that are extra crispy are not. I guess they are coated. Nicole

    Hi, I called and checked. Lever 2000 Aloe has no gluten and all of the Lever products will name wheat, oats, rye, or barley if it is in there. I also checked for J&J baby shampoo the Lavender one and it is also gluten free. Nicole

    I believe most juices that are labeled 100% juice are gluten free. But I always call the company just to be sure. Nicole

    We use Ener G Food's Tapioca bread but I do know that the Gluten Free Pantry makes a good sandwich bread mix. Gluten Free Naturals (you can find them online) makes a very good pizza crust mix as well. Very easy to, just mix it with oil, egg, and mild (unless she is casein free too, I don't remember).     Are you using real rice crispies? If so, I believe they have malt in them which means gluten. I know envirokids makes a cereal that looks like cocoa crispies so thats what we call them even though they are gluten free. Nicole

    Like you said, the blood test might not be accurate at this point due to his age. Maybe you should have him tested for the gene to see if it is even possible for him to have it.
