My worst "cant find the glutening source" was one night I made gluten-free pizza.... and sure enough got ill soon afterwards....... checked everything I made the pizza from sure enough everything was safe..... pan was safe, ingredients, stainless clean bowls..... OH NO!!!!! I then noticed the wooden rolling pin I used to roll out my crust sitting in the dish...

  3. Tonight I "flew off the handle" at my hubby for not having anything to snack on..... I used to wolf down a whole box of "better cheddars" every few days, I miss them......

I had a foster child once and the research I found was that pasturized dairy products can increase the symptoms and also to add extra magnesium to the diet, well unless you think you can get him to eat more lettuce and spinach that is, lol Also...
  5. Normally my "intestinal issues" last a few days to a week" however my husband says my "moods" last up to 2 weeks

Not sure what places you have near you but I found outback had a gluten-free menu online you could search some of your fav places to go and see if they have one online, or can even call and talk to the manager of your favorite place and explain your situation they may be able to fix something special for you.
  7. I use nature made but so far (knock on wood) I only have to watch out for gluten.... I got my last 2 "batches" at drugstore.com

Never looked to see what plant mine are manufactured in.... have a small issue but I think its more oil related than anything else as I also get the same thing when I make food at home I try only to eat a handful and have no problems however if I eat more, the problem increases. Wouldn't call it gluten symptoms but more of a gut ache??????

  10. I have a problem with frito's if I eat more than half of the 99 cent bag they affect me simular to a CC but this also happens with anything "oily" like reg chips etc so I have cut those to a minimum.

Its not uncommon to have minor setbacks during not only your first few weeks but it will continue for a long time to come.... 6 years down the road you will become complacient about company "A" and stop reading their label each time you purchace their product and oooops they changed the recipe to now include gluten... it happens and we get to deal with...

I agree on the vomiting not helping unless its very close to when ingested... then it will only make the amount smaller rather than stop the symptoms altogether.... not to mention sometimes just thinking about doing that sends shivers up my spine, never have been able to force myself to do that...   24. I gave all my pasta and flour to a neighbor, containers came back cleaned by her..... then I rewashed them multiple time and have since replaced them.
  25. "Hormel" is another company very good at marking their products "gluten free" they have lunch meat, pepperoni and bacon that is safe. I have a complete list relatively recent if you would like it.
