For All My Corn Intolerant Friends

I know fresh turkeys aren't injected, but I was just on the Butterball website and discovered that their frozen turkey breasts have nothing but turkey in them. Not injected with anything, so if you like the convenience of frozen turkey, that's the way to go. Even if you're cooking for a crowd this year you could get one of these for yourself.

I'm going to get one this year. I think I'll make the stuffing using udi's and try to do it the way Mom used to, with sage and other spices. And if there aren't enough drippings to make gravy I'll just get some of that Pacific broth.

I could PROBABLY eat injected turkey now because I think my corn intolerance is gone, but I'm only one person and like the white meat better anyway. I'm so excited! Haven't had turkey in years. It's going to be a great Thanksgiving this year!!

yes it says meat only, but I have had a soy reaction to it. I'm unable to trust any sandwich meat product. :(

bartfull Rising Star

It is NOT a sandich meat product. It is a frozen turkey breast and if it had soy it would have to say so by law. Soy is one of the top eight allergens and it MUST labeled.

I know this isn't corn safe, but they are soy free. For people who aren't into cooking (lookin at you Barty) and who are only feeding one or two people these are great. They come in white, or mixed. Gravy built in too! Open Original Shared Link

I know this is gluten-free but not sure if it's soy free plastic! Lol

And you could use packing peanuts for stuffing. (That is of course if you don't have a peanut allergy or an intolerance to plastic legumes. )

You guys are too funny

Just be careful handling. Use a clean cutting board, cook thoroughly, and refrigerate promptly. After all, we wouldn't want any of THESE growing on your turkey: Open Original Shared Link

Dang, that thing looks like a space ship.  Far cry from the one I had about 40 years ago

This is hilarious. Maybe instead of buying a bunch of food I don't need I should just make a Thanksgiving pizza and get all the appropriate toys for table decorations. At least I'd still have a turkey and potatoes on the table!

I'm laughing so hard my stomach hurts! Do you think that means I may have celiac disease?

No. It wasn't caused by gluten. There was no gluten in these posts. There was a lot of plastic - so... Maybe you are allergic to dinosaurs?

bartfull Rising Star

Yeah but look at this! That's cross-contamination for sure!! Open Original Shared Link

So I've been dealing with chasing the name celiac because of my body actively dealing with health issues related to celiac though not eating. Diagnosed in 1994 before foods eliminated from diet. After 25 years with former pcp I googled celiac specialist and she wasn't because of what ive been through. I wanted my results to be sent to my pcp but nothing was sent.I have email copies.I did one zoom call with np with team member from celiac specialist in Nov 2025 and she asked me why I wanted to know why I wanted the celiac diagnosis so bad, I sad I don't, its my life and I need revalidaion because its affecting me.KB stated well it shows you are.I asked then why am I going through all this.I was labeled unruly. Its been a celiac circus and medical has caused anxiety and depression no fault to my own other than being born with bad genetics. How is it legal for medical professionals to gaslight patients that are with an ailment coming for help to be downplayed? KB put in my records that she personally spent 120min with me and I think the zoom call was discussing celiac 80 min ONE ZOOM call.SHE is responsible for not explaining to my pcp about celiac disease am I right?

I've noticed with my age and menopause my smell for bread gives me severe migraines and I know this. Its alarming that there are all these fabulous bakeries, sandwich places pizza places popping up in confined areas.Just the other day I suffered a migraine after I got done with my mri when a guy with a brown paper bag walk in front of me and I smelled that fresh dough bread with tuna, I got a migraine when we got home.I hate im that sensitive. Its alarming these places are popping up in airports as well.I just saw on the news that the airport ( can't remember which  one)was going to have a fabulous smelling bakery. Not for sensitive celiacs, this can alter their health during their travel which isn't safe. More awareness really NEEDS to be promoted, so much more than just a food consumption!FYI I did write to Stanislaus to let them know my thoughts on the medical field not knowing much about celiac and how it affects one.I also did message my gi the 3 specialist names that was given on previous post on questions on celiac. I pray its not on deaf door.
