Hi SusieQ, I see you...Hope your back isn't suffering too much from the hectic weekend you had!

HEY!!!!

How come they WORKED that time??

How come the dude with the sunglasses doesnt work when I want to use him in my post?? Its happened several times...but my last post....they worked fine??

WTH is going on??

and...NO....I have not started eating the Big Macs already.

Maybe it was just scared by the thought of Big Macs! :P

Hi Jin, I met with this dentist today. Yes, he gives oxygen to the patient, but he doesn't vent the vapors. He wears a respirator, but for the patient, they just take a regular dusk mask, and turn it upside down to cover your nose and eyes  . I thought that was pretty hokey, to be quite honest.

He did tell me something very interesting. He said the best thing I could do for dental health and pregnancy was to improve my gums, NOT take out my amalgams. He did a cursory exam of my gum health. I didn't care for him to do the whole thing because it hurt. He said that gum disease is an indicator for fertility and having a healthy baby. I do need to be better about flossing, as I'm very sporadic with it. He thought he could remove all my amalgams in one visit, but I would do it in two. He also found some cracks in my teeth with the fillings that my other dentist missed last month.

I don't know if I would go with this guy after seeing his office. He seemed knowledgeable enough, but he didn't have any special equipment for amalgam removal besides oxygen, a different kind of tip to section the fillings in large pieces, dental dam, and a respirator for himself. Any dentist could have that same stuff. I think I'm going to shop around a little more before choosing a dentist to remove my amalgams.

Hum, yes, probably good to shop around a bit!!! A good, really good biological dentist can certainly make all the difference!

premature post.......one page left to read and no time.

STILL no answer from Tom and Susie????? <_<;) How can we NOT tease them??? I think we've been doing well with this request ... till now ... better get that answer ... did Tom go visit her???? Are they still under the influence of Susie's famous mojitos???

 I think I wrote something confusing.....it was an aside to tell Tom that my FRIENDS who were visiting were from SAN JOSE. Settle down sillies, it was my college roommate and her 16-y-old daughter (my favorite child - 16 going on 35 - in the universe). They left two hours ago. :( such a fun visit but I am in enormous pain and wiped out.

MRI results at 2:00 today.

I had a great day in the country but it wiped me out, I almost came to visit you. My sweetie's directions didn't include the A part of the highway sign and I drove to the border before I realized I was lost.

 oh yes, you SHOULD have kept driving!! and yes, as Rachel said, with your trunk loaded with Rinne bars. :)

Andrea - sorry about little Seth's bump.

Glad some of you are feeling better......

Glad you get them back so quick. It's awful to have to wait. I'll be waiting for your results.

I command you to take it easy the rest of the week!

My face has been breaking out too! Crazy, cuz even as a teenager I didn't have skin problems!

My face never broke out till I was an adult. It was nice when I was on the cyclines ... it was clear ... now I notice some breakouts again. I'll be glad when I'm not so toxic. :)

He did tell me something very interesting. He said the best thing I could do for dental health and pregnancy was to improve my gums

He's probably right ... though I'd still remove my amalgams. Bacteria in the mouth from gum disease is a spirochete like Lyme. Use a Water Pik and one of those electric toothbrushes that make circular motions ... made my Oral B. Also floss. It's REALLY important for detoxing and general health.

Susan :lol::lol::lol: That was confusing!!

So the only way to get this sulfur thing in control is to do the laser treatment?

I got more supplements but am scared to take. SHe says she pictures my intestines as raw and inflammed inside.

She doesn't want me to take vitamins and mineral supplements because she feels that I will not absorb them right now with my intestines being so bad.

I am weary of the supplements. SOme contain, wheat germ, magnesium citrate, mushroon, and oat flour.

She want's me to take black currant seed oil for pain. BEta TCP for bloating. a-c carbamide for i forgot. Ligaplex that's the one with the wheat germ and stuff.

Paleo fiber for constipation. I don't know. It has apple pectin, carrot something, lithin, prune OMG prune! cranberry, guar gum, acacia fiber, flax, other things also. She gave me a small sample of it. I didn't buy it because I don't know how I will react. I hope it's okay though.

Guys I am real scarred to take this stuff but what other options do I have now. I am getting worse each day I need to do something.HELP!

Dear Rachel,

When you do eat those Big Macs, have one for me! I wish I could eat them and those fries! They are so good! Not worth getting sick from, however. One can only endure so much suffering! I could reinvent the Big Mac gluten-free style. I just need a copy of that book that tells how to make the fries, and I will be set! ;)

I wonder what is up with the emoticons. That is so strange! This site can be odd at times. Somedays it just does not cooperate. You can never tell how it is going to be. One day, something works, the next day, it does not.

Dear Claire,

I could see why you would want to be careful. If you were not that impressed with your dentist, I would keep looking. It is better to be safe than sorry! Especially in this case. I have gum disease, and I am worried. It seems no matter what I do, it does not get better. I am so scared of losing my teeth!

That is so cool you had a fairy godmother at your wedding! I have no idea about mine. All I know is I know how I want it. My main thing is just wanting to have it elegant. I have thought about skipping the nerve-wrecking part and just eloping, though.

Dear Susie,

I am glad you enjoyed your company. Sorry that you are worn out and in pain, though. I get like that a lot, too. Today I accomplished a lot, but will likely pay for it. If I overdo it, I will feel it. Let us know about your results from the MRI!

Dear Carla,

I wish I could afford the Oral-B brush they just came out with. It has little flossers in between the bristles! It is called the Triumph. They are as much as a Sonicare, though. Why do I have to be poor? Cool fact: the first bristled toothbrushes were made in China and arrived in Europe during the 1600s.

Dear Lisa,

Do what you feel you can tolerate. I know what that is like. It is so hard to get through a day. You dread going to sleep, you dread waking up, while at the same time, fear you will not wake up. I can see why you are wary of the gluten containing supplements. Does she know about your gluten issue?

Sincerely,

Jin

I don't think she knows really about the gluten issue. We never brought it up. I do believe I am sensitive to it just because of the mercury.

I am just scared to even try.

Definitely do NOT try any that has wheat germ in it!!! That would be very bad! Make sure you tell her about the gluten issue and that you can't have it in any form.

With being so toxic it seems like that is one of the quicker ways to get your sulpha pathways open so you can detox and chelate.

I would strongly suggest you get yourself in for an ART session. If you come up here it would also be a ASYRA session. I think you need the direction that ART will give you.

Don't take the stuff with wheat germ.

tabasco32 Apprentice

Do you think my doctor knows what she is doing.? I thought she would be knowlegable. She has treated over 100 people with mercury. I don't have money to go to ART. I would love to but just cant.

I am so sick. I don't know what to do now.

I don't know that she doesn't know what she is doing. As she has treated people before with mercury problems I would assume she knows something. Does she know how to treat someone as toxic as you are is the question.

The only thing you can do is try one supplement at a time, tiny doses and spacing them out so you know if you have a reaction to one or not.

You need to get to the point were you can try one food at a time and see how you respond to it. You will need to have your body in a state where you can figure this out. Do you buy organic meats and produce? That would be another first and important step. You don't want to continue putting toxins in your body right now. There must be something that your body will accept more than others.

:o:o:o I missed that thread! Someone should email her and tell her to come back that it's perfectly okay to talk about on the forum! I've seen it discussed many, many times .... people are usually apologetic about it, but still ask the questions.

Hi everybody,

This is bothering me - A LOT. I never saw the thread, so I don't know exactly what happened, but I need to know that someone tried to send a PM. I can't seem to shake it. I'd like to persuade them to feel welcome here if someone hasn't done that already, but I can't find the stinkin' thread. Help? It makes me sad. :(

As long as I know that someone tried to contact them, I'd feel better.

I don't even understand why this is eating at me so much, except that maybe I've felt that way before, and I came back & I'm glad I did.

Come back ! You'll like it here !

Kat,

I vaguely remember the thread, and as I recall, only one person was critical of the person's descriptions. Several others weighed in supporting her and letting her know that it's perfectly fine to talk about bowel movements and whatever else she had going on.

If we're talking about the same thread, the person was not left thinking she had done something wrong at all. I wish I could remember enough detail to do a search, but I don't.

UR Groovy Explorer

Thanks Patti,

I had hoped that was the case.

I buy organic when I can. Mostly zucchini and squash. Today I bought mustard greens I think because they are high in protein.,I usually buy foster farms chicken. I don't like organic chicken and I have to have bones in it.

I don't know or understand why each day I am sicker and sicker. more pain and more pain. I really, really am starting to believe I will not make it through this. I feel ssooo siickk with swollen lymp glands, bloating, head pressure, constipation and abdominal pain.

I don't want to live like this nnnooo more. I don't think I am going to make it. :(

Hehe just @Basha's groc (omg they have REDBRIDGE!!) & the checkout lady did NOT know what to think of me. After a yr & 1/2 of morose mumbling, the Real Me kinda freaked her out.

I swear her look said "wth are u ON?" !!

And as u all may have inferred, my SJ trip was spectacular!

Definitely moving back. But maybe a month in Portland 1st. (Don't tell my sister yet! hehe :) )

The simplest little bbq yesterday was such a thrill to me. Just a dozen or so ppl, but it was the biggest 'event' I'd attended in at LEAST 5 yrs. (Lake Cunningham Park btw - I'd heard of it for yrs but had never been there)

Great spot w/ reserved tables & grill, right next to lake. And the birds(gulls) did something I wished I video'd on the Palm I had w/ me.

The guys had stepped away from the grill and a bird swooped down and grabbed, struggled w/ the size of, but got away w/ a HUGE sausage!!

I think he was hero to the whole flock after *that* move!!!

Phx heat particularly horrendous after SJ.

Dreading errands I venture forth into the 112 or higher. Wed forecast now 116 or 117, depending on source.

I NEED OUT!!!!!!!!!

The original post sure didn't look confusing to ME, but re-reading from another perspective did uhhhh . . .. .. .oh heck, it STILL didn't look confusing to me!!

(I might have suggested a "to all u South Bay-ers - she's from SJ" tho. Hehehe :P )

I think you'll be back to hanging off cliffs sooner than u might think. :)

Dear Robin,

Thank you for the compliments! Can you believe my hair even at that length was heavy enough that it fell flat within forty-five minutes? Now my hair is long and black. It suits me better I think. I will post my new avatar once my hair is done.

You are better off without the bride's father if he is an a**cracker. He could ruin everything. Weddings are a time of joy, not conflict. At least, they are supposed to be this way. I see no reason people cannot be congenial, but there are always those that want to make others miserable.

Jin,

I have a problem with my hair going flat also.

Yeah, she doesn't even know if he's gonna walk her down the aisle, show up for rehearsal, or anything. And he hasn't offered to help out whatsoever, financially or any other way. We are doing the part for the bride and groom and they are doing whatever they can to take some of the load off of us.

Wow! My friend (who I travel with all the time) sent me a couple of ebay listings...one was over a million dollars and one was right at a million...we thought it was nice that they threw in free shipping. You know, until Friday, I'd never heard of iPhone--our firm has decided to NOT go to iPhone this year...they're going to stick with blackberry until the new features come out on the iPhone next year! Course I won't get one but might get a discount on one.

I need to get out more (or maybe just watch the news more, lol). :P

I don't know why you're getting sicker either. If your pathways are blocked though and you are mobilizing even a bit of toxins from various parts of your body, you are going to feel worse as it has nowhere to go.

Could you talk to your dad and see if he'd be willing to send you up here to Seattle/Bellevue for some time to see Dr. Elizabeth.

What about that doctor in LA? Don't remember if it was a male or female, but that person has spent time with Klinghardt so should have some knowledge about mercury and may even do ART. Maybe Scott knows who he is.

I just feel it's imperative that you have more direction on this or all the supplements that are supposed to take to make you feel better will continue making you feel worse. :(

Don't give up though, keep fighting. Can you eat beef? How about buying all natural 100% grass fed beef?

The ones on eBay must have been from before they came out. They were available on the 29th ... we paid significantly less than that at the Apple store. :D:lol:

Hello, @asaT, I'm curious to know whether you are taking other B vitamins like Thiamine B1 and Niacin B3.  Malabsorption in Celiac disease affects all the water soluble B vitamins and Vitamin C.  Thiamine and Niacin are required to produce energy for all the homocysteine lowering reactions provided by Folate, Cobalamine and Pyridoxine.   Weight gain with a voracious appetite is something I experienced while malnourished.  It's symptomatic of Thiamine B1 deficiency.   Conversely, some people with thiamine deficiency lose their appetite altogether, and suffer from anorexia.  At different periods on my lifelong journey, I suffered this, too.   When the body doesn't have sufficient thiamine to turn food, especially carbohydrates, into energy (for growth and repair), the body rations what little thiamine it has available, and turns the carbs into fat, and stores it mostly in the abdomen.  Consuming a high carbohydrate diet requires additional thiamine to process the carbs into energy.  Simple carbohydrates (sugar, white rice, etc.) don't contain thiamine, so the body easily depletes its stores of Thiamine processing the carbs into fat.  The digestive system communicates with the brain to keep eating in order to consume more thiamine and other nutrients it's not absorbing.   One can have a subclinical thiamine insufficiency for years.  A twenty percent increase in dietary thiamine causes an eighty percent increase in brain function, so the symptoms can wax and wane mysteriously.  Symptoms of Thiamine insufficiency include stunted growth, chronic fatigue, and Gastrointestinal Beriberi (diarrhea, abdominal pain), heart attack, Alzheimer's, stroke, and cancer.   Thiamine improves bone turnover.  Thiamine insufficiency can also affect the thyroid.  The thyroid is important in bone metabolism.  The thyroid also influences hormones, like estrogen and progesterone, and menopause.  Vitamin D, at optimal levels, can act as a hormone and can influence the thyroid, as well as being important to bone health, and regulating the immune system.  Vitamin A is important to bone health, too, and is necessary for intestinal health, as well.   I don't do dairy because I react to Casein, the protein in dairy that resembles gluten and causes a reaction the same as if I'd been exposed to gluten, including high tTg IgA.  I found adding mineral water containing calcium and other minerals helpful in increasing my calcium intake.   Malabsorption of Celiac affects all the vitamins and minerals.  I do hope you'll talk to your doctor and dietician about supplementing all eight B vitamins and the four fat soluble vitamins because they all work together interconnectedly.

Hi Jane: You may want to try the D3 I now take. I have reactions to fillers and many additives. Sports Research, it is based in the USA and I have had no bad reactions with this brand. The D3 does have coconut oil but it is non GMO, it is Gluten free, Soy free, Soybean free and Safflower oil free.  I have a cupboard full of supplements that did not agree with me -  I just keep trying and have finally settled on Sports Research. I take NAKA Women's Multi full spectrum, and have not felt sick after taking 2 capsules per day -  it is a Canadian company. I buy both from Amazon. I wish you well in your searching, I know how discouraging it all is. Florence.

highly unlikely  NOTHING and I mean NOTHING else has ever caused me these kinds of symptoms I have no problem with dates, they are a large part of my diet In fact, I eat a very high fiber, very high vegetable and bean diet and have for many years now. It's considered a whole foods plant based or plant forward diet (I do now eat some lean ground turkey but not much) I was off dairy for years but recently had to add back plain yogurt to meet calcium needs that I am not allowed to get from supplements (I have not had any problem with the yogurt)   I eat almost no processed foods. I don't eat out. almost everything I eat, I cook myself I am going to keep a food diary but to be honest, I already know that it's wheat products and also barley that are the problem, which is why I gradually stopped eating and buying them. When I was eating them, like back in early 2024, when I was in the middle of moving and ate out (always had bread or toast or rolls or a sub or pizza) I felt terrible but at that time was so busy and exhausted that I never stopped to think it was the food. Once I was in my new place, I continued to have bread from time to time and had such horrible joint pain that I was preparing for 2 total knee replacements as well as one hip! The surgery could not go forward as I was (and still am) actively losing calcium from my bones. That problem has yet to be properly diagnosed and treated   anyway over time I realized that I felt better when I stopped eating bread. Back at least 3 yrs ago I noticed that regular pasta made me sick so I switched to brown rice pasta and even though it costs a lot more, I really like it.   so gradually I just stopped buying and eating foods with gluten. I stopped getting raisin bran when I was constipated because it made me bloated and it didn't help the constipation any more (used to be a sure bet that it would in the past)   I made cookies and brownies using beans and rolled oats and dates and tahini and I LOVE them and have zero issues eating those I eat 1 or more cans of beans per day easily can eat a pound of broccoli - no problem! Brussels sprouts the same thing.   so yeh it's bread and related foods that are clearly the problem  there is zero doubt in my mind
    • cristiana
Thank you for your post, @nanny marley It is interesting what you say about 'It's OK not to sleep'. Worrying about sleeping only makes it much harder to sleep.  One of my relatives is an insomniac and I am sure that is part of the problem.  Whereas I once had a neighbour who, if she couldn't sleep, would simply get up again, make a cup of tea, read, do a sudoku or some other small task, and then go back to bed when she felt sleepy again.  I can't think it did her any harm - she lived  well into her nineties. Last week I decided to try a Floradix Magnesium supplement which seems to be helping me to sleep better.  It is a liquid magnesium supplement, so easy to take.  It is gluten free (unlike the Floradix iron supplement).  Might be worth a try.
