Gluten Free Dairy Prouducts?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a brand or company that makes gluten free dairy products. Mainly yogurt and ice cream. Thankfully I do not have a intolerance to lactose or dairy. The probiotics in yogurt always seemed to settle my stomach, but I have been doing some research and found than some may contain gluten or wheat ingredients.

what do use personally? and what’s the best for taste or price?

does anyone know if dannons activia is safe? I e-mailed the company an didn’t receive a response.

Thanks for any help!!

Dannon uses a CYA response and won't say if their products are gluten-free or not. There's nothing special about Activa that Stonyfield Farms or Cascade Fresh doesn't have. Stonyfield Farms is gluten-free, and I use them sometimes, but I usually buy Cascade Fresh. It has 8 active cultures and is really tasty! I find it at the health food store, though my local megamart is carrying it, now also.

As for ice cream, a lot of Breyer's flavors are gluten-free, and they'll always list gluten. I think they're under the ConAgra umbrella. Also, Ben & Jerry's will list gluten clearly as well!

Haagan Daaz (I probably butchered the spelling) sent me out a list of their gluten-free ice creams. I don't believe they list allergy information on their packaging, I might be wrong, but I called the company and they said they send out allergy information to anyone who inquires about it. I have since lost the list. If I recall correctly there were quite a few flavors that were gluten-free, except for the obvious like Cookies and Cream, the cheesecake flavor, the one with brownies in it, and the triple chocolate because it has wheat flour in the truffles.

I know you said yogurt and ice cream, put if you dig puddings Cozy Shack lists "gluten-free" on their packaging, I think all of their flavors are gluten-free. You can find Cozy Shack in the regular grocery stores too, not just the health food stores.

Please read the original post--they are looking for a gluten and milk-free treat to replace Tootsie Rolls for their child who loves Tootsie Rolls, but can no longer have them due to a dairy issue--they are not looking for M&M's.

They both do.  The peanuts add nutrients to the treat. Tootsie Roll: Sugar, Corn Syrup, Palm Oil, Condensed Skim Milk, Cocoa, Whey, Soy Lecithin, Artificial and Natural Flavors. But M&M's contain milk, and would not be at all like a Tootsie Roll.

I appreciate you validating me because medical is an issue and it's not ok at all they they do this. Some days I just want to call the news media and just call out these doctors especially when they are supposed to be specialist Downplaying when gluten-free when they should know gluten-free is false negative. Now dealing with other issues and still crickets for disability because I show no signs of celiac BECAUSE IM GLUTENFREE! Actively dealing with sibo and skin issues.Depression is the key because thats all they know, im depressed because medical has caused it because of my celiac and related issues. I should have never ever been employed as a bus driver. After 3 years still healing and ZERO income desperately trying to get better but no careteam for celiac other than stay away frim wheat! Now im having care because my head is affected either ms or meningioma in go in tomorrow again for more scans.I know im slowly dying and im looking like a disability chaser

M&M Peanuts. About the same calories and sugar while M&M Peanuts have fiber, potassium, iron and protein that Tootsie Rolls ("We are currently producing more than 50 million Tootsie Rolls each day.") don't. Click the links to compare nutritional values.  Both are made with sugar, not high fructose corn syrup.  I use them as a gluten free substitute for a peanut butter sandwich.  Try her on grass fed, pasture fed milk. While I get heartburn at night from commercial dairy milk, I do not from 'grassmilk'.
