More Triumph Dining Cards

I'm sure others have gotten this e-mail, but wanted to let everyone know that they have created more Triumph Dining cards. In addition to the previous ones they now have added: Italian, Greek, Vietnamese and French.

I'm really psyched because I was just thinking 2 days ago how I really want to go to Italy next summer and wish I had a Triump Dining card for that. Hopefully the translation on the back is in Italian.

jillian: Are you sure they have Italian and Greek? I just checked and I did not see that option. Any chance you would have a phone number for the people that make the cards? I am traveling next month to Greece and Italy. It would be fantastic to be able to hand the card to a waiter and have them understand. Any help you can offer would be great!!!!

I saw it on the website. $18.95US for 10 cards.

It's called the Gold Value pack.

These cards sound great, but I have a couple of questions:

1) Is there a way to view the cards before you buy them? I went to the website to check them out, but it seems that you can't really take a look at them before ordering.

2) Are there cards that also have a dairy-free/casein-free component? added to them?

Would love to know...

thanks!

Sorry, not that I know of.

Poor Rachel typed a copy of one of the cards once for us to see and Ross Cohn who produces them freaked and sent a email to forum for copy write violation.

Maybe you can call and see if he would suggest some way you could see them. They are really good and alot of people bought them b/c of her post on here.

Thanks Scott. They are gluten-free but cross contaminated.

Hi there @MCAyr I have a small umbilical hernia which came about during my second pregnancy.   I can just about see it, and feel it, when I stand or sit, but it is far less noticeable when I lie down.  I always know when I am putting on weight because I can get pain and burning near the site, funnily enough not on the hernia itself but either side!  I would imagine bloating could cause the same effect as weight gain. In my case I don't think it is my bowel protruding but a bit of fat  - sorry,  I realise this isn't painting a very pretty picture.  But in truth it is scarcely noticeable.  It has never really got bigger in size. I was rather hoping that it could be operated on but here in the UK they don't seem to operate on every hernia anymore.  My GP isn't remotely worried about it. In a way, I should be thankful - it is like an early warning system that I need to go on a diet! Cristiana

The hernia description would likely be unrelated to celiac disease, but you'd need to get it checked out by your doctor to be sure it's a hernia.
