I just got back from seeing the specialist here in Regina. He took a look at all of my records and my new test results (and kept those), and was just as clueless and every other doctor has been. He says the only thing left to do would be take a CT scan, but that wouldnt be necessary because something should have showed up in the tests I have had done..

He wouldnt even let me explain why I think it might be Crohn's. He swears that if it was Crohn's it would have showed up on the scopes or barium xrays, and says that theres no diet for it so that shouldnt be a reason for it not to show up (yet on any website I've looked at, even the offical Crohn's and Colitis website, it says diet relieves it!!)..I said what about bloody diarrhea--he told me if it was Crohn's it would be there constantly (yet my doctors in Yorkton/Canora told me its only Colitis that its constantly there)

All he suspects is IBS and that I'll just have to "live with it" and gave me a prescription for Buscopan.

I am NOT going to just sit here and ruin my whole entire life and "live with" the pain. If I had to deal with this horrible, horrible pains for the rest of my life, I'd seriously just prefer dying already.

I think I'm going to have to miss more school, go see my family doctor again..tell him about this crap, and tell him to refer to Calgary and/or Winnipeg ... because I refuse to let this pain and mysterious health control me.

I think the terms IBS only exists when they cant figure out what the heck else it is. I'm not convinced...there has to be SOMETHING behind this.

ARGHHHHHHHH :angry::blink: *cries*

Hi Lisa

I'm so sorry you are having all this trouble. Doctors make me sick, I don't know where compassion went to in their vocabulary.. I hate it when they look at you like your a space alien because you know you have pain & it isn't in your head but because they can't find anything they make you feel like your nuts.This actually happens quite a bit in the medical profession ....... Idiots>>>>.

Anyway Please don't give up keep up the fight until you find a doc who will listen to you. You are special to all of us here & I will be praying for you my friend....

Today my laptop screen decided to die (i'm using someone else's computer right now). Not the computer itself, that runs: just no screen. :o

Now I have ALL my important stuff on a blank screen, and no idea how I can at least back it all up (like I've even got ALL of my homework on there)...I'm gonna be asking around, there has to be SOME way to get my stuff to show up on another computer...

My life clearly must be ending.... *cries*

You should be able to hook your laptop up to another computer and view the files. I hope that helps.

      From their website I see "organic barley leaf powder" as an ingredient. Keep in mind that the gluten is in the kernel, and not in the leaves. https://drinkag1.com/about-ag1/ingredients/ctr

      Before the rise of social media we were well known by a lot of doctors and were recommended by many, especially our Safe & Forbidden Lists, but as doctors get younger and younger this is probably not happening as much as before.

      Thanks Scott I will definitely check my vitamins and minerals to see what I am missing so then I can supplement. I was very concern about my Meniers syntoms and i tryed to find some alive. Now im just realizing that my celiac is provably the root cause of my Meniers none of the 12 doctors I saw told me anything about this.  This web site is so helpful, thanks to people like you we can get answers.

      Vitamin D deficiency can contribute to rib pain. Chest pain stemming from the ribs ccould be costochondritis, which involves inflammation of the cartilage connecting the ribs to the breastbone. This pain can range from mild to severe, potentially mimicking heart attack symptoms, and is often worsened by breathing or movement. Other potential causes include muscle strain, rib fractures, or even referred pain from other conditions.  It will also help to chose vegetables low in omega 6.
