Um....Aren't ALL our bras comfy and....grEy? <_<

None of mine are comfy or grEy. :) It's easier to continually torture hubby when I wear pretty lingerie. I'm the most spoiled woman on the planet. :D Wear black, lacy uncomfortable undergarmets and get a man who will spend his life trying to make you happy. :PB)

It's so funny bra fittings is the subject on the table (Peter, Ryan, and Tom must be having a god time  ), I have been thinking about getting one myself........they say we all are wearing incorrect sizes

Thanks everyone for your well wishes  When I get angioedema in my throat and mouth and such it's an anaphylactic type allergic reaction, if that helps you not have to google

Sarah, how are the pod children today?!?!

The English Project is looking for examples of 'Kitchen table lingo' ......(words you make up and use frequently)

Some examples:

Clackers - testicles

Bobbicles - breasts

Cauliflower heads - elderly ladies

Having a McS*** - entering a fast food restaurant with no intention of buying food - just using the loo

McS*** with lies - telling staff you'll buy food afterwards

...and finally

Testiculating - waving your arms around and talking b@#$%$#%

What words could we submit??

Nikki, this is hilarious!!!!!!

Sarah!!! Did you not notice the Bobb-icles....why not just BOOB-cicle??

Let's see, Sillyville could contribute all kinds a words, HANUS as Emily mentioned, what about wackl? Edna and Sven of course.......I'm drawing a blank on the others

Easy- the 'end' result of a glutening.

I was thinking about doing a bra fitting too, wierd coincidence you all were talking about it. Alex is right- I have no shame at this point. Stranger playing with my boobs? Pshaw, no big deal! Try having a camera up your butt! Unfortunately for me, I'm of the small percentage that doesn't get the amnesia effect of those drugs. I remember everything..... I'll take a bra fitting, thanks. The nursing staff found it humorous though.

 JNBunnie, what's a little bra fitting after all that!

None of mine are comfy or grEy. :) It's easier to continually torture hubby when I wear pretty lingerie. I'm the most spoiled woman on the planet. :D Wear black, lacy uncomfortable undergarmets and get a man who will spend his life trying to make you happy. :PB)

Good strategy Carla!

BTW, I was NOT wearing the wrong size.

Taking down notes over here...

Sarah, how are the pod children today?!?!

A little better today... I've decided to nix all TV for a while, except Veggie Tales. I'm no Bible Thumper, (apologize in advance for any offense, again) but Veggie Tales is always about morals and behaving, so... good stuff in my book right now.

Morning Sillies...didn't realize I never posted this morning, I was attempting and then I got sidetracked. So not much going on. Work Work Work like usual, only one more day until I am FL bound. I am soo scared to fly again, it has been 10 yrs....

What time is the Silly Summit? Depending on time depends on me being able to attend or not. Later in the afternoon will work best. Work has got meetings stacked that week since most of us will be away on vacations the next month. This week and next there is a lot of conferences we will be travelings too.

Bye Sillies! Tis lunch and I am Phamised!

I have to agree with JNBunnie and Alez, btw. Having a camera up the butt has to be way worse than a bra fitting.

I am certain that there are very few things worse than this.... <_< Never had the pleasure, but I'm still certain. The hose down the throat was not great, either. Yep, a boob/bra assessment is a walk in the park, and apparently these brassiere consultants (at least, this is how the huge woman at Sears was designated) really do know their stuff - - training and everything... . .How the boob should sit in the cup, which way they should be pointing, how high up one's chest cavity they should perch... . .quite a science, really.... . .:lol:

Got a better strategy: Regularly wear NO undergarments. Going Commando is astonishingly effective in creating a man who constantly thinks, "Whoa. I can imagine what's under those clothes.....what can I do for her next?".... . .:lol:

This approach also eliminates the ripping off of said undergarments (let's face it - - they're just in the way) and the possible stretching/tearing thereof.

Ah, Veggie Tales!!!

I took care of my niece for about the first 4 years of her life and I had one Veggie Tales movie, Queen Esther. We watched and watched and watched and watched it over and over and over again........I could recite the thing by heart  but it was such a cute story, and you are right all about knowing right from wrong and being good ;)

Hope the messages sink in with the pod children

every time I see this I think it says pool children and I think gads, not only do we talk about our potty habits, we're now checking in on others'.

 not such a surprise coming from a group that kept charts on other such things of the passing wind variety.

Yeah, I like Veggie Tales more than I thought I would. Cute stories, good morals, and not overly preachy! Why the characters are talking vegetables though.... I have not been able to figure that one out. Used to terrify Ezra when he was younger. He likes them now, though.

I must comment on comparing a bra fitting to an endoscopy or (Gawd) a colonoscopy!! :o The fitting is nothing--a mere walk in the park compared to those.....and as Sarah pointed out, you get to go shopping after (or before, if you want).....we all know what happens before a colonoscopy :o:lol:

No appt. necessary .... they'll measure you at Victoria's Secret. Shouldn't have said that ... now Tom will be applying for a job there.

yeah I wonder if they'll take me back .. .

It's easier to continually torture hubby when I wear pretty lingerie. . . ..

Wear black, lacy uncomfortable undergarmets . . .

Are comfort & ...uhhh ....torture-worthiness truly entirely mutually exclusive??

Or do they cost 5x as much to get some comfort w/ the shwing! potential??:P

We watched and watched and watched and watched it over and over and over again........

Hello my dear sweet Psillies!

Just popping in to say hello. I had another 2 rough days with my reaction, it traveled from my throat to my tongue, not fun at all :( ..........don't have much silly-ness in me.

I'm too far behind to go back but I noticed poop and boobs and Howie Mandell have been some of the topics of conversation, typical Sillyville stuff

Julie- I'm with you- I am a weepy, whiny, depressed psilly (mood swings/panic attcks- lots o fun) :( :(

Thought I'd at least TRY to get my psilly on :D

All this talk of bras- I must share. I have bras that I ABSOLUTELY love. For those of us not, ahem, evenly aligned (I wish both boobs were same size as right boob). I think they are maidenform and they make 1/2 sizes so you can get an AB (as in almost a B) or an AC (no not air conditioner although having one in your bras in the summer might be quite comfy.....

But then guys would, uhm, know when the turkey was done :P :P

Oh...Uncle Ray's got a phunny:

The Lie Detector

John was a salesman's delight when it came to any kind of unusual gimmick.

His wife Marsha had long ago given up trying to get him to change.

One day John came home with another one of his unusual purchases. It was a

robot that John claimed was actually a lie detector.

It was about 5:30 that afternoon when Tommy, their 11 year old son, returned

home from school. Tommy was over 2 hours late.

"Where have you been? Why are you over 2 hours late getting home?" asked

John.

"Several of us went to the library to work on an extra credit project," said

Tommy.

The robot then walked around the table and slapped Tommy, knocking him

completely out of his chair.

"Son," said John, "this robot is a lie detector, now tell us where you

really were after school."

"We went to Bobby's house and watched a movie." said Tommy.

"What did you watch?" asked Marsha.

"The Ten Commandments." answered Tommy.

The robot went around to Tommy and once again slapped him, knocking him off

his chair once more.

With his lip quivering, Tommy got up, sat down and said, "I am sorry I lied.

We really watched a tape called Sex Queen."

"I am ashamed of you son," said John. "When I was your age, I never lied to

my parents."

The robot then walked around to John and delivered a whack that nearly

knocked him out of his chair.

Marsha doubled over in laughter, almost in tears and said, "Boy, did you

ever ask for that one! You can't be too mad with Tommy. After all, he is

your son!"

With that the robot immediately walked around to Marsha and knocked her out

of her chair.

Bev! You've got boobs that are half-sizes? Like my 8 1/2 feet....you've got B 1/2 boobs.

...Mine are simply half GONE...... <_<

yeah I wonder if they'll take me back .. .

I've been pondering......

Why are there not Briefs Consultants? Perhaps the vast majority of men are walking about with ill-fitting underwear, and should have access to professional fitting opportunities. Males could be measured, assessed....... . ..

Dunno what kind of market there'd be.......

Guess it would depend on what the consultants look like...... <_<

Whoaaaaaaaaa .. Sharapova just lost to a Russian I've never even heard of!!!! :o:o

You are amazing, Bev! I admire your strength and ability to be so phunnee when so down! :):)

Ah! AC in the bra.....and the consequential..effect....

Men would be right on board.

Not possible for overkill to ever occur in this area of the male existence.....

Oh... mah... GAH!

Have you tried Pure Encapsulations supplements? This is a brand my doctor recommends for me. I have no issues with this brand.
    • asaT
plant sources of calcium, such as spinach, have calcium bound to oxalates, which is not good. best source of calcium is unfortunately dairy, do you tolerate dairy? fermented dairy like kefir is good and or a little hard cheese. i do eat dairy, i can only take so much dietary restriction and gluten is hard enough! but i guess some people do have bad reactions to it, so different for everyone.
    • asaT
i take b12, folate, b2, b6, glycine, Nac, zinc, vk2 mk4, magnesium, coq10, pqq, tmg, creatine, omega 3, molybdnem (sp) and just started vit d. quite a list i know.  I have high homocysteine (last checked it was 19, but is always high and i finally decided to do something about it) and very low vitamin d, 10. have been opposed to this supp in the past, but going to try it at 5k units a day. having a pth test on friday, which is suspect will be high. my homocysteine has come down to around 9 with 3 weeks of these supplements and expect it to go down further. i also started on estrogen/progesterone. I have osteoporosis too, so that is why the hormones.  anyway, i think all celiacs should have homocysteine checked and treated if needed (easy enough with b vit, tmg). homocysteine very bad thing to be high for a whole host of reasons. all the bad ones, heart attack , stroke, alzi, cancer..... one of the most annoying things about celiacs (and there are so many!) is the weight gain. i guess i stayed thin all those years being undiagnosed because i was under absorbing everything including calories. going gluten-free and the weight gain has been terrible, 30#, but i'm sure a lot more went into that (hip replacement - and years of hip pain leading to inactivity when i was previously very active, probably all related to celiacs, menopause) yada yada. i seemed to lose appetite control, like there was low glp, or leptin or whatever all those hormones are that tell you that you are full and to stop eating. my appetite is immense and i'm never full. i guess decades or more ( i think i have had celiacs since at least my teens - was hospitalized for abdominal pain and diarrhea for which spastic colon was eventually diagnosed and had many episodes of diarrhea/abdominal pain through my 20's. but that symptom seemed to go away and i related it to dairy much more so than gluten. Also my growth was stunted, i'm the only shorty in my family. anyway, decades of malabsorption and maldigestion led to constant hunger, at least thats my theory. then when i started absorbing normally, wham!! FAT!!!

Great advise there I agree with the aniexty part, and the aura migraine has I suffer both, I've also read some great books that have helped I'm going too look the one you mentioned up too thankyou for that, I find a camomile tea just a small one and a gentle wind down before bed has helped me too, I suffer from restless leg syndrome and nerve pain hence I don't always sleep well at the best of times , racing mind catches up I have decorated my whole house in one night in my mind before 🤣 diet changes mindset really help , although I have to say it never just disappears, I find once I came to terms with who I am I managed a lot better  , a misconception is for many to change , that means to heal but that's not always the case , understanding and finding your coping mechanisms are vital tools , it's more productive to find that because there is no failure then no pressure to become something else , it's ok to be sad it's ok to not sleep , it's ok to worry , just try to see it has a journey not a task 🤗

I agree there I've tryed this myself to prove I can't eat gluten or lactose and it sets me back for about a month till I have to go back to being very strict to settle again
