It sounds to me like this poor old woman has nothing better to do with her time than cause trouble for people. She should maybe be careful carrying all those things in case someone were to cause trouble for her ;)

So I have to laugh....last evening, we found our 4 y/o standing at the top of the stairs, and from what I can tell, she had been there for some time. My wife says, "Hi T." DD had a can of pop (soda) in her hand, which she managed to get out of the fridge downstairs al by herself, and asked if my wife would like to have it. My wife replied, "Oh..no thank you sweetie." At which point my daughter said, "Well, there's no beer mommy!" I almost died I was laughing so hard.

Hope you all have a good day. :)

Too Funny!

I actually have a funny beer story. Where we are in PA you cannot buy beer or wine or anything in the grocery stores....yep we are still in the dark ages. Last weekend we were in FL @ Publix and they had a huge selection of different beers and such. So John was gazing and this mother came up to the selection and she had her daughter with her and the girl was no more than 4. The little girl out louds says, Mommmy are you buying beer today? The mother looked at the beer and said I am not sure. The girl replied. You always buy beer here.

I was laughing and then I told John that was something our kids would never be able to say since we cannot buy it that way. Interesting huh?

Did I tell you about our nosy neighbor lady that drives us all crazy??

These are the best neighbors to have! Think of the fun you can have!

Jen:"yah, last week they tried to sell Landen to some people in <insert upscale neighborhood>".

John:"Oh, I just spend the night with either Amanda or Jen, whichever one isn't feeling tired."

Amanda:"No, Landen is really MY baby, I just let Jen take care of him sometimes."

Any of you:"Landen? Did I have him today? When did you last see him?"

Amanda or John:"Oh, we lock the door. He'll be fine by himself"

or "If I have to go out I just grab that guy that lives in the doorway down the street."

Wow--that's amazing....we had flocks pretty close to that in South Jersey every so often. When they landed, every tree, power line, lawn, everything was dotted with the birds.

Yep, when you posted it was 10 in Cali. What a long day yesterday was and could be another long day's wait today :(

I thought it was amazing too. The lighting wasn't very good in the video, I don't know if it was a stormy day or an ameteur camera or what. There must be ALOT of birds in that flock

2!!! Can you believe it?

Speaking of the Sillie Summit.....Emily must be in Philadelphia by now and it's on the way to 92 degrees with oppressive humidity. :o Good thing there are lots of air conditioned places to duck into.

I hear this morning that the humidity is supposed to be much lower beginning on Thursday for the Summit :D

oh rub it in. Probably the day will start with a light shower to freshen the air and paint the sky with rainbows while the afternoon sun will make the flowers glow and every color of butterfly will descend on the city whilst the unscheduled troop of Romanian pipers fill the air with lilting, mysterious melodies and the children all laugh and dance in the streets.

I have very bad news to report. Due to some last minute scheduling at my job with our new studies I will not make it for the Silly Summit. I told my boss I would like to bypass the one meeting, her answer was if you would like we can bypass me working here..... I guess I better come to work.....

Now, think about the Outer Banks in September or October (HIGH HURRICANE SEASON, BUT THE HOUSE IS CHEAP....hee, hee, hee.) Any interest???

Hi Sillies- Sorry, I am WAY behind the curve. Was with the famdamnly from Thursday to last night on an island in the middle of Lake Champlain. We were technically in VT but you could swim to NY or Canada (I swam to neither :P). I had a GREAT time still antibiotic free!!!!!!!!!!! However, several strange events occurred that I must tell you of:

1. I think that Gus the Yipper is secretly vacationing on this island under the name of Bosco. I do not have a picture to prove it but I SWEAR he was staying at the fishing lodge we stayed at!!!!!!!!

2. I met a fellow celiac (his wife calls it Silly Ass disease) and I can confirm that the sense of humor is CLEARLY related to celiac. His name is Arnie and he is supposed to pop into this thread. Look out for him- he's pretty funny. He will probably also tell you MANY things about me that are only slightly true

3. Due to the yummy mixes of Namaste blondies and brownies- we were invaded at midnight by chocolate zombies (uhm- men and women in their 60's with pantyhose over their heads who came out of a VERY dark woods moaning for chocolate). You'd think they'd go after the REGULAR chocolate cake but no........

Of course, I thought of our Psiouxie constantly.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!!!!!!!! And the summit is coming!

I have trouble with nausea. It often starts when I’m anxious about something (home repairs, sick dog) but continues long after the home is repaired or the dog is healthy again. When it happens I eat less and lose weight.  My gastroenterologist suggested ginger or peppermint tea. I don’t know if that will work or not because I haven't had the problem since she suggested it.

Hello  I'm not sure what to think . Seems no matter what I do I get sick. I had some yogurt with only 2 grams of sugar and is labeled gluten free ...the strawberry version seemed to really set me off My jaw is burning as well as my stomach and my feet.  Horrible pain..plus acid reflux and nausea... sensitivity to touch pain. ..yikes !! I don't know if it's from the lactose in the yogurt or if I'm getting an ulcer  This condition can make you question yourself quite a bit.  Then if you are not sure the anxiety comes 😞 Does any of these symptoms sound familiar to anyone? The neuropathy is quite intense.  What do you eat or drink after this happens  Open to suggestions  Thank you

Of course my son is on a 100% gluten free diet.  I wish his symptoms were not debilitating as there are right now.  He cannot work, even when a miniscule of cross contamination occurs.  It's not just GI distress, but intense fatigue, brain fog, depression, anxiety, insomnia, etc.  It's literally neurological inflammation.  Not to be taken lightly here.  We have sought out many other possible ways to cope during this window of time (8 months!!!!)  without success.   AN-PEP does not help and seems like studies on this are not well researched.  So, we are trying this out because research shows some promising results.  And, all participants showed no cravings afterwards, no signs of addiction.  The patch is different than the oral route such as smoking, vaping, gum, pouch, etc.
    • Scott Adams
Have you tried AN-PEP enzymes, for example, GlutenX (who is a sponsor here)? A lot of research has shown that it can break down small amounts of gluten in the stomach, before it reaches the intestines. It might be a better approach than risking nicotine addiction, and the questionable research around this. I also hope that he’s trying to be 100% Gluten-Free.
    • Me,Sue
Hi all  I was diagnosed Coeliac a few years ago and follow a gluten free diet. The list of foods that I can eat without a problem grows shorter on a weekly basis. [I also have diabetes and asthma also].  BUT the reason I am posting this is because I seem to struggle with nausea quite a lot, which is really quite debilitating, and I was wondering if others suffer from nausea, even if following a gluten free diet.
