Were you AT the convention?? I did think about you while watching the past few nights. It was quite impressive seeing the stadium full to capacity last night--so much energy

No ...but just about 15 or 20 minutes south from there.

I talked to a family member who had tickets and they ended up turning around and going home. When they arrived, several hours early too, thousands and thousands were still lined up outside waiting to get in. The security detail was quite involved, so they knew they would be standing in line for hours.

So sillies with the rainy day I have here I am thinking about picking up lunch on my way home and watching sex and the city for the rest of the afternoon.....

Glad you're feeling better today, Amanda. It's not raining here, just kinda cloudy....sun is trying to peak out but not having too much luck.

I was doubled over last night with stomach pain/cramping. They found a hiatal hernia during my endo., and according to the sheet she gave me I think it had to be the onions I ate in my dinner. Gawd....another reason to have to limit more foods

At least this explains the hiccups and unladylike belching

Last night John and I came home and Jen's kitchen window is on the porch stoop, so when its open I always yell in to her. So she was coming to the window and I bent down and let out this loud-very loud fart.....and John looks at me and starts laughing and pretty soon he lets one go too......We are a mess!

Nope--gallbladder is A-ok!! Ultrasound and blood work were fine for that. She saw the hiatal hernia during the endoscopy and this, she said, would explain my reflux/upper abdominal symptoms.

Gotta love when you actually get an answer for something! The other bloodwork and biopsys are still out, so we're waiting on those. Keeping me phingers crossed that somephin turns up that might explain all these phood intolerances.

At least, this doctor is willing to look......

Well today was an adventure- last time the whole thing from start to finish took forty five minutes. This took four hours and was not fun. They tried to guide it in with ultrasound but it got stuck, had to wait an hour for interventional radiology. They had to guide it in with real-time x-ray and could only get is so far because I was having vein spasms. They finally got it in but it hurt like hell (after three novocaine shots) and I have a HUGE bruise.

Glad it is O-V-E-R!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No big plans- just chilling!!!!!!! Kurt and I had a date last night. Went out for Mexican and I had a Catalina Margarita (last one for a LONG time!). Soooooo tasty- blue curacao, peach schnapps, teKILLya, and sour mix with a sugar rim. YUM!!!!!!!!
