Susie . . . does it go sumptin like Open Original Shared Link at yer house??

That was great Janet. I LOVE that dog!!! Such a sweet face, and awwwww hiding in shame!

UUUGGGGHHHH . . . Exhausted this morning . . . slept naught last night. Something to do with the autumnal equinox?? I know I don't sleep as well during full moons . . . gah!! must schedule a nap for later today.

Suuuuuuuure Janet, we all know why you don't get any sleep during full moons, out til all hours of the night taping up mailboxes all over yer neighborhood.

GUILT DAWG & THE POO CRIMES

Number one hit . . . Bean Wasteland

another hit:

I Drive My Mommy Crazy

and

She Wonders if I have Thumbs

EXCELLENT!!!!!

...and a cover of Jumpin' Jack Flash, cuz it's a GAS, GAS, GAS!!

Jules, I am a little worried about this book......I STILL have not recovered from Old Yeller in third grade (now THAT book should be REMOVED from children's reading lists  ). Have to find out if there's anything sad w/ this dog........so you read it first, okay?

I must investigate this....I know Oprah is a huge dog lover, and just recently lost her beloved Sophie dog (a cocker like me boy that I lost a few years ago :( ) so my first thoughts are she wouldn't like a book where something sad happened to the dog, but you never know.

Will get back to you with my findings!

No more naps for me. Must pretend to work again :( .

:(:(

Cr@p!!! Kids are due home in about 10 minutes and mommy did NOT get her nap.

Jess . . . I did not realize you were back at work today . . . must use your stealth now to come play/talk wif us . . .

Susie . . . Is Piggy-dog scared of anything? I could put the vacuum by the trash and Josie wouldn't go near it!!! Likewise . . . I don't like getting too close to vacuums either.

Question for you word-O-phobes: Any other word in the English language that has a double "U" besides vacuum?

Wait a minute . . . "phobes" isn't right!! I'm not lookin' for an answer from someone askeert of words!!. . . What's the right term here? (as if word-O-phobes might have been right  )

Alas she IS heavy. you should see her tummy bloat. And, she's POOPING GRAVEL. this cannot be good........now must check for any broken teef.......dear gawd.

OMG - O lost TWO dogs? how did I miss that? :( I think that any new dogs she gets are going to be rescued from the pound, though, since she did that wonderful (but too painful to watch) show on evil breeders.....

Susie . . . Is Piggy-dog scared of anything? I could put the vacuum by the trash and Josie wouldn't go near it!!! Likewise . . . I don't like getting too close to vacuums either.

 piggy-dog reminds me of Nik's famous Piggy Bat. Nik, almost halloween, I think the bat needs to show up again next month, eh? :P

the only thing Weezel-Pig is afraid of is flies in the house, because I used to swat them. She is terrified of things being swatted. Hence, she is scared of flies in the house as swatting could happen, so I can't swat any more due to this phobia.......but evidently the flies circling around the trash can are not scary. <_<

I now have to keep my trash can OUTSIDE the fence and this is against the rules here in Stepford - you cannot have yer cans showing. So - I'll do this until I get in trouble.....and then......who knows.

double u's? what in hell are you doing? can't think of any....

I am NOT kidding. <_< You can get fined if yer cans are showing. They have to be behind a fence or in the garage. One-car garage for me, no room.

HI DONNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Mygawd, too much to respond to!! That's it, I cannot be working these afternoons when there is so much catching up to do. Right, then.. . .. . I'll be resigning... . .. ...<_<

Hi, Jacquie!!

We always wore muumuus when I was a kid....all summer, in phact. My mom made them for us all, as we had a pool and would throw them on over our bathing suits.

There is also "residuum".......hey, now...this could be an introductory ESL exercise for Thursdays classes.......

Nocturnal bean emissions!! :o

Yes, I'm sure there's something in wood that causes shrinkage. Someone should research better closet material.

Wood is certainly knot the problem here. Since our closets are knot wood. I personally think it's jsut that they don't like being ignored in the winter. It's their revenge

Hi all !! Did anyone ever get prescribed methylprednisone steroids for inflammation of stomach and intestines?  Did it work ??  Thank you !!
    • cristiana
Hi Colleen Are you supplementing B12/having injections? I have learned recently that sometimes when you start addressing a B12 deficiency, it can temporarily make your symptoms worse.  But it is important not to stop the treatment.  Regarding your problems with anxiety, again that is another symptom of a B12 deficiency.   I didn't know what anxiety was until it hit me like a train several months before gastrointestinal issues began, so I can certainly relate.   Two books which helped me hugely were At Last A Life by Paul David (there is a website you can look up) and The Depression Cure: The Six-Step Programme to Beat Depression Without Drugs by Dr Steve Llardi.  Although his book is aimed at people who have depression, following the principals he sets out was so helpful in lessening my anxiety.  Llardi suggests we need to focus on getting enough: - physical exercise - omega-3 fatty acids - natural sunlight exposure - restorative sleep - social connectedness - meaningful, engaging activity   ... and we should feel a lot better. That is not to stay you must stop taking medication for depression or anxiety if you have been prescribed it, but adopting the changes Dr Llardi sets out in the book should really help. Can I just ask two more questions:  1) you say that you are B12 deficient, did they test your iron levels too?  If not, you really ought to be checked for deficiency and, 2) did they check your thyroid function, as an overactive thyroid can be cause rapid heartbeat and a lot of coeliacs have thyroid issues? Hello still dancing around my celiac disease and not getting medically backed up considering Ive been glutenfree since 1994.All my ailments are the core issue of my ghost disease aka celiac disease. Im angery because the "celiac specialist " basically lightly dismissed me.Im extremely angery and fighting for a new primary care physician which is hard to do in Northern Cali.So currently without and looking.Im angery that its lightly taken when its extremely serious to the one who has it.My only evidence is a brochure back in the days when I got news letters when I lived at my parents. It was published in 1998.I was diagnosed before any foods eliminated from my diet. Angery doctors don't take seriously when Im clearly speaking.I did write to the medicine of congress and have case number.

I totally get this. It's absolutely a grieving process, and it's okay to feel gutted about the loss of those simple joys, especially at 18. Your feelings are completely valid—it's not about being ungrateful for your amazing boyfriend, it's about mourning the life you thought you'd have. That "tortured by the smell" feeling is so real. It does get easier, I promise, but it's okay to sit in the sadness and just vent about how much it stings right now. Thanks for sharing that. Celiac.com has published a book on our site by Jean Duane PhD called Gluten-Centric Culture, which covers many of the social aspects of having celiac disease: This chapter in particular covers issues around eating with family and others - Gluten-Centric Culture: Chapter 5 - Grabbing A Bite Together:
