Nikki!! How do you make those thingies bigger?? (the pictograms! <_< ) And added coloUr??!

The robe smells. Needs dry cleaning. I think Emily let her dogs sleep on it. Don't ask about the blood stain!! Yes, the jester and trumpeter are doing better, however, they have a standing appointment for their couples counseling that you will need to make sure that they get to . . . and whatever you do, don't let them get ahold of the keys to ANYbody's car, truck, RV, lawn tractor, etc . . . you get the drift. If you've got a lock for yer bike, I would use it.

:lol::lol:

Yeah, what's with the smell on that robe? Me poodles don't smell, and don't shed, either, so they were free to lounge on it regularly. . . . . . ....the wrinkles in the velvet are absolutely due to prone dog. Get them to press it, Erica, when you take it in . . . . ..

I think our Jester/Bugler couple swiped it one evening and took turns adorning it while out carousing through downtown Ottawa. . . . . bugling, tambourining, staggering, singing. . . . who knows what the source of that lingering stench is. . . . ..... And that stain.... . . ...I've been wondering if it is from blood, or something else.

I think the bugler wore it to his shift at Walmart, without clearing it with me.

Now we all can say, "you just wait, one of these days you will want to get a hot tub and however will you manage without MATH!!!!!!!"

Yes!! Thank you for this, Jooolie! I shall put it into practice at once!

I said, Shush girl shut your lips,

Do the Hellen Keller and talk with your hips.

:blink::blink: Mygawd. . . . ..... . .♠ ◘ ○ . . ........I jus' dunnno what to say about that one. . . ..!

Ptaoughmghmn! Interesting. . . . candida shouldn't be offering you any problems. .. . ..curiouser and curiouser. . . .....I'm sorry you're no closer to some, ANY, answer. . . ..... :(

I'm off to peruse Oracle PeOter's pictogram site of page 37, er sumfin'. . . . .

Jestgar Rising Star
Mornin Sillies :)

Got my candidaq bloodtest results yesterday.

I really expected higher numbers.

Candida IgA 8

Candida IgG 2

Candida IgM 7

Limit's 10 for all.

IgM is the first response, followed by IgG. A low IgG may mean "no", or it may mean "not yet". IgA may or may not be present in serum.

These tests seem like the "positive, if positive, but not necessarily negative if negative" type.

Thx Jess ;)

I'm still so surprised I didn't register over limit.

And here we go .. . ..I have an interview tomorrow @2 for that part-time job that I'm not quite sure I can do.

This is exciting! Best of luck. . . let's see, 2 pm your time is 5 pm my time. . . . . I'll be thinking of you as I scramble through dinner prep!

Yay! A new Queen, HRH Erica the Young! And hotubs! And puppies, oh my!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The puppy smell <contentedsigh> Labs are crazy diggers. I had to make a garden over the hole that Kramer (the lab who lived here before us). Angus has some lab in him- he even buries his treats!

I WANNA pet Sammy!!!!!!!!!!

happygirl Collaborator

Bev, I wish you could pet her too. She's asleep at my feet right now...she really does make life better.

Today she learned how to run, and is learning how to play. She met another dog in the neighborhood, and had more neighbors come to meet her and play. We've had a few accidents in the house, but we are working on it. I still have no idea what the plan is for sleeping tonight. Is it terrible that I just want her to sleep in the bed with me? !!!! (Sleeping in the bed with me does NOT equal "crate training", apparently)

I love, love, love her. LOVE HER.

I love, love, love her. LOVE HER.

Her little "playing picture" is so darn cute :D I want to just pick her up and hug her!!

I spoke with an old friend today--lots of catching up and gabbing.....it's been a while and one of the things she told me is that she got a new puppy earlier this year--a Chocolate Lab!! She said that the dog thinks she's one of the kids

I told her about Sammy, and how adorable she is. I thought that was such a neat coincidence :)

Laura! Bring that adorable pup into bed wif you........ . . there was no way I could resist bringing my little, crying poodle pup into bed with me on those first cold nights. . .. . I know, I know, it's against the crate rules. . .. ...but gawd! How can we resist?? And she won't pee in your bed - - she'll whine and wriggle around first, to let you know she's gotta go . .. .you'll just hafta move quickly! :):)

plant sources of calcium, such as spinach, have calcium bound to oxalates, which is not good. best source of calcium is unfortunately dairy, do you tolerate dairy? fermented dairy like kefir is good and or a little hard cheese. i do eat dairy, i can only take so much dietary restriction and gluten is hard enough! but i guess some people do have bad reactions to it, so different for everyone.
    • asaT
i take b12, folate, b2, b6, glycine, Nac, zinc, vk2 mk4, magnesium, coq10, pqq, tmg, creatine, omega 3, molybdnem (sp) and just started vit d. quite a list i know.  I have high homocysteine (last checked it was 19, but is always high and i finally decided to do something about it) and very low vitamin d, 10. have been opposed to this supp in the past, but going to try it at 5k units a day. having a pth test on friday, which is suspect will be high. my homocysteine has come down to around 9 with 3 weeks of these supplements and expect it to go down further. i also started on estrogen/progesterone. I have osteoporosis too, so that is why the hormones.  anyway, i think all celiacs should have homocysteine checked and treated if needed (easy enough with b vit, tmg). homocysteine very bad thing to be high for a whole host of reasons. all the bad ones, heart attack , stroke, alzi, cancer..... one of the most annoying things about celiacs (and there are so many!) is the weight gain. i guess i stayed thin all those years being undiagnosed because i was under absorbing everything including calories. going gluten-free and the weight gain has been terrible, 30#, but i'm sure a lot more went into that (hip replacement - and years of hip pain leading to inactivity when i was previously very active, probably all related to celiacs, menopause) yada yada. i seemed to lose appetite control, like there was low glp, or leptin or whatever all those hormones are that tell you that you are full and to stop eating. my appetite is immense and i'm never full. i guess decades or more ( i think i have had celiacs since at least my teens - was hospitalized for abdominal pain and diarrhea for which spastic colon was eventually diagnosed and had many episodes of diarrhea/abdominal pain through my 20's. but that symptom seemed to go away and i related it to dairy much more so than gluten. Also my growth was stunted, i'm the only shorty in my family. anyway, decades of malabsorption and maldigestion led to constant hunger, at least thats my theory. then when i started absorbing normally, wham!! FAT!!!

Great advise there I agree with the aniexty part, and the aura migraine has I suffer both, I've also read some great books that have helped I'm going too look the one you mentioned up too thankyou for that, I find a camomile tea just a small one and a gentle wind down before bed has helped me too, I suffer from restless leg syndrome and nerve pain hence I don't always sleep well at the best of times , racing mind catches up I have decorated my whole house in one night in my mind before 🤣 diet changes mindset really help , although I have to say it never just disappears, I find once I came to terms with who I am I managed a lot better  , a misconception is for many to change , that means to heal but that's not always the case , understanding and finding your coping mechanisms are vital tools , it's more productive to find that because there is no failure then no pressure to become something else , it's ok to be sad it's ok to not sleep , it's ok to worry , just try to see it has a journey not a task 🤗
    • nanny marley
I agree there I've tryed this myself to prove I can't eat gluten or lactose and it sets me back for about a month till I have to go back to being very strict to settle again
    • trents
You may also need to supplement with B12 as this vitamin is also involved in iron assimilation and is often deficient in long-term undiagnosed celiac disease.
