No, no, silly girl!......I simply find so many other Psillies much funnier than meself! :P

....and if your referring to the nutmeg video........I'm a little quirky sometimes when it comes to what I find funny......someone could be ROFL, and I'm like this ??.........a serious character flaw, I'm afraid

Psillies make me laugh much more than all those sitcoms y'all talk about and post here! :D

My great-gramma was most definitely NOT beautiful - - built like a brick sh!thouse, lantern jaw, wild, grEy hair all askew.. . . ...apparently not an individual you'd want to meet up with on a dark moor. . . . . .

Unless she can Rudolphianly lead the way in a dark moor w/ that lantern jaw!!

This is reminding me of meself. If I stopped the hair-dying (would it revert to dandelion? oh, in a few years, I suppose)

Oh MY!! :o I can see it now! In some reverse perverse deja-vu, 20 yrs from now, some oblivious-to-HER-own-future PYT will post a phunny about an older dandelionhead Pseuzee seen out on the open road!!!!!:wacko: <maybe at 11:11am on some future nov11!>

Is it some kind of toy?

Decidedly NOT.

...Is it edible?

Nope. I wouldn't try, anyways. . . . ..

is it shiny and sparkly? could I hang it on a necklace?

Nope, no shine. Ya could, technically, wear it around yer neck. . . . ..but ugly? Shoot. . . . . ..

A peculiar sumthin at the bottom of the ho tub............does it come from nature?

Nope.

Does it come in different sizes?:lol::ph34r: (I cannot wait for the answer!!!!!)

I believe it does, yes. This one looks like a large.

Oh wait!!! Em!!! I want a question! ...uhhh .. .will it be thrown away?

By me, absolutely. Someone else would want this......it is NOT an item that ya buy and toss out. . . ....

. . . at the bottom of the tub . . . Are we going to be grossed out when you tell us??

:lol: Um....I think not. It will likely leave you in wonder, as it has me . . . . .. what in hell this thang was doing in my ho' tub. . . . . . .:huh:

Well it is end of fall, beginning of winter...just a light dusting of snow all around. It shall get more wintry as we go along :D

You know what I made note of the other day?? No little old blue and purple haired ladies to be found anywhere. My Grandmas always had either blue or purple hair with that rinse they used to use in the beauty shops....I haven't noticed that being in style anymore for several years, wonder when it went out of style?

Bev you so silly!!!! You called us silly bundts

I watched the nutmeg video, it made me laugh....I want to nog your egg (or sumthin like that) with silly and goofy Steve in the background

Nope, no shine. Ya could, technically, wear it around yer neck. . . . ..but ugly? Shoot. . . . . ..

They've all trundled up here, I guess.....I see one now and then at the grocery store, picking up her All Bran and tea bags. . . .. . ..

Nope! It ain't a whistle.

Another clue. . . . . ..hmmmmm. . . . .....

Okay. It is something that, when actively used, is fitted onto something else. So, I could accept a guess on the thing it can fit onto, as well. This thing I would likely notice in the tub without having to empy it.

Now.....I have a dinner party to attend. You will all have a couple of hours to mull over the last half of your remaining questions.

It's just TOO BIZARRE.........

:lol::lol::rolleyes:

Sillies. I just can't psychologically get myself to pay $20 for a tree that will be thrown out, plus another $14 or so for the stand. The stand commits me to buying a tree every year, right? Well, $20 isn't that much for a solid month of joy.......what is me problem? this will mean - a wee, gorgeous tree - that I will most likely do some small entertaining over the holidays......

Should have gotten that beautiful fake wee tree that was fiddy percent off last year, after Christmas.........but see, I can't psychologically do a PHAKE tree either.

am screwed.

Em, is it metal/wood/stone/plastic????????

is it a ballcock???????????????????

Sorry about your tree dilemma Sooze :( ...it is so true the best time to buy (if you are going to go faux/phake) is after Christmas/end of the year when things are on may-jah clearance.

Ugh Sillies...tis one of those nights in the wonderful world of baby-sitting....the lil one is not happy....not sure if it is the tooth which has already popped in, whether we are tired, or we just dont feel good on general, but one thing for sure is WE are miserble......

We had to do a quick trip to the grocery store and it was a fight to get in the car seat, a fight to stay in the cart, and then a crying trip home....we did get changed for bed quietly thanks in part to Sesame Street on tghe tv and we did get very tired and I put him in bed with no tears.....but I keep hearing crying now.....not much more I can take right now, 1 more weekend next week.....but I hate the Sunday nights.....I need to sleep to function at work......I love the kid but when he is not up to par he is not easy to deal with....

Jen totally understood when I asked about the weekends off to pack- she was like I know how packing with a kid is....so we are cool to go.

It is still gloomy and rainy outside but the NY Giants won again today!!!!

I REALLY want me wee Charlie Brown tree!

I have made a decision (I think? ) .......I'm going to go get one this week ;) I need the smell of it, the look, the real-ness of it, the cuteness wif my smattering of ornaments.......will have to buy a stand

Would prefer to borrow a stand from someone who has switched to fake tree (like my mom, but she doesn't know where hers is - isn't that always the case? )

Excessive dietary tyrosine can cause problems.  Everything in moderation.   Sulfites can also trigger migraines. Sulfites are found in fermented, pickled and aged foods, like cheese.  Sulfites cause a high histamine release.  High histamine levels are found in migraine.  Following a low histamine diet like the low histamine Autoimmune Protocol diet, a Paleo diet, helps immensely.    Sulfites and other migraine trigger foods can cause changes in the gut microbiome.  These bad bacteria can increase the incidence of migraines, increasing histamine and inflammation leading to increased gut permeability (leaky gut), SIBO, and higher systemic inflammation.   A Ketogenic diet can reduce the incidence of migraine.  A Paleo diet like the AIP diet, that restricts carbohydrates (like from starchy vegetables) becomes a ketogenic diet.  This diet also changes the microbiome, eliminating the bad bacteria and SIBO that cause an increase in histamine, inflammation and migraine.  Fewer bad bacteria reduces inflammation, lowers migraine frequency, and improves leaky gut. Since I started following the low histamine ketogenic AIP paleo diet, I rarely get migraine.  Yes, I do eat carbs occasionally now, rice or potato, but still no migraines.  Feed your body right, feed your intestinal bacteria right, you'll feel better.  Good intestinal bacteria actually make your mental health better, too.  I had to decide to change my diet drastically in order to feel better all the time, not just to satisfy my taste buds.  I chose to eat so I would feel better all the time.  I do like dark chocolate (a migraine trigger), but now I can indulge occasionally without a migraine after.   Microbiota alterations are related to migraine food triggers and inflammatory markers in chronic migraine patients with medication overuse headache https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11546420/

Then we would need to cut out all meat and fish as they are richer sources of tyrosine than nuts and cheese. Something else about certain tyrosine rich foods must be the actual culprit.

I agree that KAN-101 looks promising, and hope the fast track is approved. From our article below: "KAN-101 shows promise as an immune tolerance therapy aiming to retrain the immune system, potentially allowing safe gluten exposure in the future, but more clinical data is needed to confirm long-term effects."
    • Scott Adams
Thank you so much for having the courage to share this incredibly vivid and personal experience; it's a powerful reminder of how physical ailments can disrupt our fundamental sense of self. What you're describing sounds less like a purely psychological body dysmorphia and more like a distinct neurological event, likely triggered by the immense physical stress and inflammation that uncontrolled celiac disease can inflict on the entire body, including the nervous system. It makes complete sense that the specific sensory input—the pressure points of your elbows on your knees—created a temporary, distorted body map in your brain, and the fact that it ceased once you adopted a gluten-free diet is a crucial detail. Your intuition to document this is absolutely right; it's not "crazy" but rather a significant anecdotal data point that underscores the mysterious and far-reaching ways gluten can affect individuals. Your theory about sensory triggers from the feet for others is also a thoughtful insight, and sharing this story could indeed be validating for others who have had similar, unexplainable sensory disturbances, helping them feel less alone in their journey.

The most common nutrient deficiencies associated with celiac disease that may lead to testing for the condition include iron, vitamin D, folate (vitamin B9), vitamin B12, calcium, zinc, and magnesium.  Unfortunately many doctors, including my own doctor at the time, don't do extensive follow up testing for a broad range of nutrient deficiencies, nor recommend that those just diagnosed with celiac disease take a broad spectrum vitamin/mineral supplement, which would greatly benefit most, if not all, newly diagnosed celiacs. Because of this it took me decades to overcome a few long-standing issues I had that were associated with gluten ataxia, for example numbness and tingling in my feet, and muscle knots--especially in my shoulders an neck. Only long term extensive supplementation has helped me to resolve these issues.
