Well pholks.....so much fer a brand new apartment    The dryer isn't working right and we got home tonight and the fridge/freezer wasn't working. Had to toss some stuff and Mark took some to his office where there is a fridge. I'm mopping up the soggy mess now <_<

Not the only screw up, we phound out today either. They got some 'splanin to do....

Aw, Patteigh, that's too, too bad. :( Not goodenuff for that kind of stuph to be happening so soon. Hope you get them straightened out soon. When we moved in we had bought one of those front loader washers that heats its own water, and no matter what setting I put it on, the water always came out hot  Later, phound out the plumber had hooked it up to the hot water pipe  After ruining some good clothes :( - nothing wrong with the washer except it takes too long for this instant CA gal. :D

GAH!

The bottom listing is now "My Kitchen".. . . ....!!!

WHOT IN HELL?

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?????? HOW DOES THIS WORK??????

I see a reverse application for this "finder". My boys have gps to locate the phones but it only tells me approximately which house they are in. Using this technology from fb, it could tell me "in girls bed" " in garage beer fridge" "in basement playing video games cause they couldn't get any girls or beer"

I want this! But I don't want to find my (future) teenagers in bed with others...... Actually, THEY don't want me to find them in bed with someone!!! ;)

Tel (for the first time since dx ....oh 6 yrs ago) tried REAL porridge oats yesterday (not millet!)

They were verified gluten-free - grown AND milled seperately from any wheat source.

Less than 5 ppm.

Holy heck - NEVER have I seen such an extreme reaction

Oh No!!!!! I hope he's feeling better! How's yer calf, btw?

Ummmm . . . . . . I think they are here . . . We have many many socks here that don't match anything.

I have some of them here, want me to FedEx them to you? :P

If she thinks I'm odd, what kinda person puts a pee jug on the Internet?

Tru Dat!!

I'm afraid if message her again, she will call the police, or FBI or who ever is in charge of international cyber stalking. Thank goodness this web site never erases any old posts. I can show them we were all in this together! Think we could be cell mates?

Can you seek her location on FB? Find out where she is this-very-moment?????

FaceBookInvestigations?

Creeeeeeeepy!!!

Sorry Patti about the household appliance revolt! Most disturbing! I fixed my washer and am still so full of myself. I shall be over Monday between 9 & 4.

Believe we know where the interloping sock belongs. We believe it came home from a Scout campout with my boys stuff. However, it really seems in much too good of shape to be a smelly teenage Scout campout sock.

The whole Anglea's boyfriend's sock in FB(I?) places thing!!!!!!!!

So I think that FB Places is full of crap.... . . .. . .in fact, that errant black sock behind your couch, Kherrighnne, does NOT belong to Angela's boyfriend. He's got both of them! We can clearly see them, in Angela's hospital room. He must have been visiting her, and took his socks off to trim his nails.

This had me lnol - ING (laugh-NOT out-loud 'cos it's early & theyz all sleep) whilst EW-ING (toe-nails)

Btw...discovered with this open fire o' mine that IF you throw a nail (human) into the fire it sizzles. Just saying.

Well WIH Shroom?!?!

Front loaders are the norm here (*snortle*...that just sound dirrrty laugh.gif)

Pads!! Whot's occuring wiv yer electricals??? unsure.gif

Back laterz - double Sven with a side of Ibuprofen for the creaky bits wink.gif

Not the only screw up, we phound out today either. They got some 'splanin to do....

Paghteigh! This is crappy. And no big upcoming post phlipover, either... . . . ....wasn't there a time when some of us were getting phluid onslaughts that were mis-assigned? Must check out everyone's post count. .. . . .. ....

Actually, i will program this into FB Places, and have them do it for me....

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?????? HOW DOES THIS WORK??????

Man, I dunno, but I think we are coming to the conclusion that the FBI (good 'un, Jyesss, BTW), the CIA, the RCMP and Joint Task Force Two are watching us closely through our FB apps.... . . . . ..

Annnnnnnd.....something quite significant: Guess what the mandatory footwear of the patrolling RCMP Officer entails?

Saddle brown riding boots with...

BLACK SOCKS.

Now, what does THIS mean?????

Hmmm. . . . . . ...... .. .curiouser and curiouser.

Baden Powell's original Boy Scout uniform was designed with the Royal Mounted Police garb very much in mind.. ... . . . . ....startlingly noticeable similarities. The Mounties keep their footwear in impeccable condition. You say that sock is in great shape, Kherrighnne?.. . . ...

And Angela is a Canadian. . . . . ..

Now, what does all THIS mean??. . . . .. .

Btw...discovered with this open fire o' mine that IF you throw a nail (human) into the fire it sizzles. Just saying.

GAH!

And Gnick's front-loaders

FaceBookInvestigations?

So I have a neighbor, who is always at home. Not friendly even tho one of my boys was friends with one of his. I heard that he works for the FBI. Some work that is done on the computer mainly. He wears black sports socks when he walks his dog past my house. Curiouser and curiouser.

Sorry Patti about the household appliance revolt! Most disturbing! I fixed my washer and am still so full of myself. I shall be over Monday between 9 & 4.

So I have a fee of $500 just to come to your house (airfare, care rental, etc). This only covers the initial visit. I will show up at 5, never calling to tell you I will be late. I will give you an estimate of repairs - labor and parts. I will then need a part that I haven't brought with me. Because its after 5, I will not be able to order the part on Monday. I will be back on Friday between 9 & 4. The part only costs $49 on every internet appliance site but I will charge $89. It will take me 10 minutes to fix and cost you another $189. (See? Just like a professional!)

She forgot to add, that since it's after 5, you'll need to have a martini ready for her, and continually thereafter until she's ready to leave.

Yeah! And with me bad back & knees, I'll probably hurt myself and have to stay and be waited on for days ( hmmm...waited on, Patti's Mac & cheese.....) maybe weeks. Will have to fix the washer first, as I require clean towels and clothes.

Bo has to know what's in every closed room. He reached under the closet door and started dragging stuff out from underneath so he could check it out.

Hi Christiana, Many thanks for your response.  Interestingly, I too cannot eat wheat in France without feeling effects (much less than in the US, but won't indulge nonetheless).  I also understand children are screened for celiac in Italy prior to starting their education. Wise idea as it seems my grandson has the beginning symptoms (several celiacs in his dad's family), but parents continue to think he's just being difficult.  Argh.  There's a test I took that diagnosed gluten sensitivity in 2014 via Entero Labs, and am planning on having done again.  Truth be told, I'm hoping it's the bromine/additives/preservatives as I miss breads and pastas terribly when home here in the states!  Be well and here's to our guts healing ❤️

Lol that’s so true! Hope you get clarity, it’s tough when there’s doubt. There’s so much known about celiac disease with all the scientific research that’s been done so far yet practically and clinically there’s also so much unknown, still. Out of curiosity what’s her dairy consumption like? Even compared to early years to now? Has that changed? Calcium is dependent in the mechanism of antigen presenting cells in the gut. High calcium foods with gluten grains can initiate inflammation greater.  This is why breakfast cereals and milk combo long term can be a ticking time bomb for genetically susceptible celiacs (not a scientific statement by any means but my current personal opinion based on reasoning at present). Milk and wheat are the top culprits for food sensitivity. Especially in childhood. There are also patient cases of antibodies normalising in celiac children who had milk protein intolerance/ delayed type allergy. Some asymptomatic. There were a couple of cases of suspected celiacs that turned out to have milk protein intolerance that normalised antibodies on a gluten containing diet. Then there were others that only normalised antibodies once gluten and milk was eliminated. Milk kept the antibodies positive. Celiac disease is complicated to say the least.

And thank you for your encouragement. I am glad that her body is doing a good job fighting it. I also just want clarity for her moving forwards. She was only 6 for the last round of testing and she's 10 now, so I'm also hoping that makes a difference. It was weird during her last round of testing though, because right before her biopsy, we'd upped her gluten intake by giving her biscuits made from straight up vital wheat gluten, and her labs actually normalized slightly (lower ttg and her ema went negative). Bodies just do weird things sometimes! lol
    • deanna1ynne
The first negative biopsy in 2021 just said "no pathological change" for all the samples, and the second one in 2022 said "Duodenal mucosa with mild reactive change (focal foveolar metaplasia) and preserved villous architecture." So I think Marsh score 0 in both cases, though it's not actually written in the pathology reports. I'm really hoping to get a clear positive result this time, just for her sake.
    • Wends
Hopefully the biopsy gives a conclusive and correct diagnosis for your daughter. Im in the UK and have been in the situation a few years ago of trying to rule celiac in or out after inconclusive results. Many symptoms pointing to it including the classic symptoms and weight loss and folate and iron deficiency. You have to play a waiting game. I also had the label of IBS and likely food allergy. Genetic test showed low risk for celiac but not no risk. It sounds like the Gastroenterologist is on it and hopefully will diagnose what it is correctly. Food hypersensitivity (allergy) can also cause similar symptoms and inflammation as well as mimicking IBS. Milk / dairy and wheat (cereal grains) being the biggest culprits. The “oesophagitis” and “gastritis” you mentioned can be caused by another gastrointestinal disorder called “eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders”. These are named depending on which part of the gastrointestinal tract is affected. For example eosinophilic oesophagitis, eosinophilic gastritis, eosinophilic gastroenteritis, and more rare eosinophilic colitis. They are antigen (allergen) driven. When the blood test measuring anti-ttg antibodies is positive in absence of a positive ema test - which is more specific to celiac, this can also suggest food hypersensitivity (allergy). Usually delayed type allergy similar to celiac but not autoimmune if that makes sense. In this case the ttg antibodies are transient. Which happens. I’ve first hand experience. For info, evidence of villous atrophy too can be caused by food hypersensitivity. Not just by celiac disease. In Egid disorders the six food elimination diet, under a dietitian and gastroenterologist care, is the dietary protocol to figure out the culprit or culprits. Sometimes only two food elimination diet is used at first. The number one culprit is milk protein / dairy. Followed by wheat, eggs, soy, fish and seafood, and nuts. Most are only reactive to one food group or two. Most are only reactive to milk. Hope this is a helpful reply.
