GAAH!!!!!.....EMOTIBUSTED!

But what about Lisa's hubby??? Lisa, does yer main squeeze celebrate barfdays??

Are we talking about puke, still? If your talking about BIRFdays.........only the ones he remembers...........seriously can't ever remember him barfing

Safety Dance!!

I remember this!

I must confess that lately it's become a serious issue with me and dancing.........I have a STRONG urge to dance every time I hear good music.....no matter where I am. The morning announcements at school always begin with an intro of salsa music.........it's killing me!

I do occassionally break loose and then the kids are like this....

:huh::huh::unsure::blink::ph34r::huh::rolleyes:

....do you suppose they had festering codpieces??? ........ looked like the right era

YES!! looks rather Medieval....must watch it again, see if I can spy under the band members' trousers.. . . . ..

They have festering codpieces under their pants???? :o

  oh well .. . .game over I guess - I haven't even heard of but 2 of those!!

HA!!!!.....I win! :D

2. Ignoranus (n.): A person who's both stupid and an a$$hole.

8. Sarchasm (n.): The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the Person who

doesn't get it.

11. Karmageddon (n.): It's like, when everybody is sending off all these really

bad vibes, right? And then, like, the Earth explodes and it's like, a

serious bummer.

5. Willy-nilly, adj. Impotent.

13. Pokemon, n. A Rastafarian proctologist.

:lol: Me favorites!.......especially Karmageddon! I have another list of these from maybe last year.........did I get them from you, Jess?

What about cows and pigs?? I don't ever see them blowing chow . . . OK maybe cows vomit . . . just the little bit into their mouths, right?? . . . isn't that what "chewing their cud" is??

Exactamundo!

Funny you should bring up cows chewing their cud.....

Cows and rabbits are similar in that they both have a fermentation chamber with microorganisms that digest otherwise indigestible plant material and convert it to nutrients. Some of the rabbit microorganisms are different from those in cows, but many of them are the same or similar (McBee 1971). Both cows and rabbits also have a mechanism to pass the contents of their fermentation chamber back to the mouth and then on through the digestive tract.

The difference, though, is that cows cud is undigested stomach material........rabbits cud has already become poop!

Eeeewwwwww, Bunnnnieeeeee!!! :o

My deaf student just got a cat yesterday........it slept on her head last night

Two days ago...when they went to look at it.....it was 4 yrs old. Today it is 7 months  She doesn't always hear information correctly, I think, so don't know which is right. Her name is Ella. This is good, because she wanted to call her Gabriella, which when she says it, sounds like 'Gal-li-lel-la' :P

I have done significant work on the Tika Shrine, photos are up of the work-in-progress on facebook, Gail's ex-husband has already made fun of it over there....anyway, it's a shimmering gold-washed green adn I am in love with it, though here in these parts, you don't see too many religious shrines/alcoves

hence my great amusement with it.

Suezeigh . . . very sad to visit the shelters :( but you are right to wait for a connection . . . it is (for people like us) a life-long committment!!! I think if you get a kitty that is black then it should have Angus in it's name . . . Angus Jett or Mrs. Angus Jenkins.

 Capitol idea!!!!!!

And if its brown, it should be named Samantha Or, as I like to call her, puppy girl.

You'll find just the right one, Susie.

 would it be weird to call my cat Puppy Girl?

Sophie wants to do her high school volunteer hours at the Humane Society....she wants me to do some dog-walking shifts with her. I just dunno if I can handle it, honestly. . . . . . .. :(

:( this would KILL me........absolutely. To look at their eyes as you put them BACK into the cages....... gawd......

I remember this!

I must confess that lately it's become a serious issue with me and dancing.........I have a STRONG urge to dance every time I hear good music.....no matter where I am. The morning announcements at school always begin with an intro of salsa music.........it's killing me!

As FORMER queen, I would like to proclaim The Safety Dance the OFFICIAL Dance of Sillyville, now and forever more. Could Amanda okay this?

:)

Good morning, Psillies!

Crap......the local transit union has voted down the city's last offer in the strike.....a very good offer, In my opinion, considering these economic times. Our city is really struggling with no buses on the road....citizens being held hostage, really.....

:(

Enuff political fodder!

I must go and check Tika's shrine. . . .. Soooozie, it must be the absolute TALK of Stepford. . . . ..

Didn't we have a Magic Triange floating around somewhere that took care of all of these crazy l'l technical problems?

would it be weird to call my cat Puppy Girl?

Nothing wrong with that. I had a cat named Ivan, whom I adored. I got him when he was only 4 weeks old from a shelter. He truly was my puppy cat. Followed me everywhere....helped in the gardens, liked to smell the flowers :) , rode in the wheelbarrow, loved to ride in the car (stretched across my shoulders so he could look out the window), climbed ladders to help me work on the roof, basically did everything with me at home. He was a kitteh who chose me.....what a godsend he was for me. Lived to be 19, and will always have a place in my heart.

This reminds of a story I used to love when I was little. Can't remember the point of the story, but it was called Puppycat.

"Now Puppycat was not a puppy, and Puppycat was not a cat, she was a Puppycat."

Hey Patti...Judy, too......sorry you are feeling a bit out of it all. You'll find your psilly.....probably wherever it was that you had it last. Then again....it's one of those things that moves about by itself when you misplace it, but I don't think that psillies can travel very far on their own power...can they? Geez....I hope not, anyway.

 well of COURSE not, what was I thinking?

Annie was called Annie Cat Dog for the first year I had her.....she is very much like a cat in her movements and languid-ness and finding a sunny spot to stretch out in :)

Pteresuh - your Ivan

Suz--the right kitty fer you and the Weez is out there. Hoping you phind each other soon :)

We will find him/her when kitten season starts, in spring. Maybe even a bottle-fed kitteh - Weez saw one and was licking and lickign and LICKING it to death, frantic to mother it - she loved it

Do you blokes have a municipal bylaw limiting the number of cats you can have? here I believe it is three cats and three dogs, so I could pick me up a couple more. . .. . ..

I think we're only permitted one husband per household. This is fine.. . . . .I cannot imagine having another one o' those. . .. ....

Maybe celiac but maybe NCGS that was misdiagnosed as IBS morphing gradually into celiac. Is NCGS a new category to you? It shares many of the same GI symptoms with celiac disease but does not damage the small bowel lining like celiac.

Thiamine has antifungal properties.  The body uses thiamine to keep bacteria and yeasts from overgrowth in the digestive system.   Fluconazole use can cause thiamine deficiency.   Supplementing with thiamine in the form Benfotiamine would be beneficial as Benfotiamine promotes intestinal healing.   Thiamine and the other B vitamins tend to be low in Celiac due to malabsorption.  Talk to your doctor about supplementing vitamins and minerals.
    • Scott Adams
Welcome @Natalia Revelo, your experience is profoundly difficult and, sadly, not entirely unique within the celiac community. It's the frustrating reality of "silent" or ongoing damage that isn't captured by the MARSH score alone, which only measures active villous atrophy. Your normal biopsy suggests your diet is preventing the classic autoimmune attack, but it doesn't mean your gut has fully healed or that other issues aren't at play. The inflammation from your newly discovered milk and egg allergies is a huge clue; this constant allergic response can create a low-grade inflammatory environment that severely hampers nutrient absorption, effectively creating a "leaky gut" scenario independent of celiac damage. This is likely why your iron stores deplete so rapidly—your body is both unable to absorb it efficiently and may be losing it through inflammation. While the functional medicine path is expensive, it's clearly providing answers and relief that traditional gastroenterology, focused solely on the gluten-free diet and biopsy results, is missing. To move forward, continue the gut-healing protocols your functional doctor recommends (perhaps exploring alternative options to glutamine that won't irritate your cystitis), maintain your strict avoidance of all allergens and irritants, and know that true healing is a multi-faceted process. You might seek a second opinion from a different gastroenterologist who is more knowledgeable about non-responsive celiac disease and the complex interplay of food allergies and micronutrient absorption, but your current path, while costly, seems to be leading you toward the steady health you need.
    • knitty kitty
Have you had a DNA test to look for Celiac disease genes?  If she doesn't have any celiac specific genes, look for another explanation.  If she does have Celiac genes, assume they are turned on and active Celiac disease is progressing.  All first degree relatives (mother, father, siblings, children) should be genetically tested as well.   Sometimes blood tests are ambiguous or false negatives if one has anemia, diabetes or thiamine deficiency.  Certain medications like antihistamines and steroids can suppress the immune system and result in false negatives or ambiguous results on antibody tests.
    • Heatherisle
That was just the visual report, so need to wait for confirmation or otherwise from the results. They did take a biopsy from the upper end of the duodenum(D1). D2 looked unremarkable on the camera. Just wish we didn’t have to wait so long for the results as she’s naturally a very anxious person. But thanks so much for taking the time to answer me
