The shed guy is kicking butt--he got here at 9:30 this morning....just him wif all the stuff needed to build the thing in the back of his pick-up--by himself. :o

I'm back home too :lol: Shed is in, boy is happy.

It's the phirst really "cold" morning I can remember fer some time. Pheels good--I had Mark throw the comforter over me when he went to work, and I phell back asleep until almost 9 :ph34r:

Must get me lazy butt up and do sumphin wif this place..... :o

SO, totally loving having a coal fire (as are the cats) ....... NOT loving having to clean out the grate in the morning!!

Well, Matt got a shed--I was just there to oversee the procedure so he didn't have to take off work ;)

As luck would have it, I did notice his thumbs as he was handing me the paper to sign. Average, but the guy was a cutie--sandy hair and a bit of a British accent. Muscular, too--built the whole thing himself!

Oye--cleaning out after the phire...when we lived in PA (fer about a minute and a half :P ), we had a pellet stove that kept the place cozy warm but had to be cleaned out every. single. day. <_<

It was a rainy day in Toronto. A very rainy day, with an inch expected over 24 hours. If I wanted weather like this I'd have moved to Vancouver. :D

      While it's true that lifting heavy weights is a good bone builder, it may not be advisable for those with certain medical conditions like heart disease, arthritis and for the elderly or for those who don't have access to the equipment. Bone building drugs like Fosamax slow down the disposal of worn out osteoclasts (bone cells) and so help maintain/restore...

      I have a very timid tummy after 13 years of strict gluten free. If I try to eat like my pals, I burn.

I don't agree with the position that all celiacs should eliminate all grains from their diet. This line of thinking has been promoted for years by books like Dangerous Grains which make the case on logic rather than actual real world data. Like many biological phenomenon, what would seem to be logical doesn't pan out to be true in the real world.  But if you are one of those in the minority of celiacs who cannot tolerate cereal grains at all, I'm glad that you were able to sort that out.
