 OMG, Rah-shyellle! Wow.. . ..good for you getting yourself into the incredible form in which you are now. Would never have guessed -- you look terrific. :)

Thanks

I think the hardest thing is looking in the mirror and still seeing the fat chick, even though it's been 10 years since I started the journey. I forced myself to wear a pair of leggings and a longer sweater today and I'm making myself 'own it' instead of worrying what my thighs look like :P

*snort*

I weigh 70# less than I did 5 years ago, and someone asked me how I felt about my change. It was a good enough friend that I could say "I still see the same person in the mirror". I'm working very hard at letting go of my perceptions and believing what my friends tell me. This whole 'dating' thing is actually a huge acting production, of me acting like I feel like I'm worth dating. Fortunately I took some time to peruse other people's profiles on that site and decided I'd have to be a whole lot more screwed up than I am in order to think of my self as unworthy. :P

And then, I can always kick their a$$, so I have that going for me. :D:rolleyes:

Heck yeah!! Kick their arses!!!!

My BFF told me I have body dysmorphic disorder. Maybe she's right, I don't know. Unfortunately I think it's easier to believe the negative stuff than the positive. Especially when that's most of what I've been hearing since I was 12 :( I have to force myself to look in the mirror and pick out some of the positives and not dwell on the negative. I'm retraining my brain!

Girlz!!!

You are of course mucho worthy - but old habits die hard I think. I like that Rae-schylle says 're- training your brain'

I think women (in general) get stuck in negative thoughts about their bodies dry.gif

.... on the other side of the coin is Tel (me hubby)

Having been a seriously 'skinny' un dx coeliac most of his life he now has trouble seeing a healthy size bloke in the mirror (with maybe a slight belly wink.gif)

GADS!! - he thinks he still wears 28'' waist trousers rolleyes.gif

NO chance!! laugh.gif

You guys have to check this out if you have a sec. This is my sister's amazing fiance. He a master puppet creator and this is a clip from one of his shows. He's been all over the world creating wondrous creatures for people like Steve Wynn to the final game/extravaganza for the last game at Yankee stadium to the Pope the last time he visited  I wish you could all see the other work that he's done, he's AMAZING!!! But this is funny! He's the one in the front in the greyish wig and bigger frog. It's also him singing. He sang the songs in multiple octaves and then remixed them all together!

He contracts out now and works on his own, but here's where he used to work--and alot of the projects you see, Dan worked on

I'm down in south Jersey--guys are at the big Hershey Car Show and I had an appointment this morning wif me old hairdresser from when I used to live here B)

I just got back and couldn't wait to come on to see how Jess's date wif blue eyes went last night. It was last night, right?

WIH is everybody.....

Anywho, I got an inch or so cut off the bottom so it's just to the bottom of me chin. Next month, I'm going back to have a Keratin treatment. :)

I'm here, Patteigh! Only briefly - -two big dog faces (well, ONE big face and one getting-big face) are staring intently, expectantly at me, willing me to get up and grab their leashes...(((sigh))).. .... . ..

Rah-shyellle, your BIL is quite an artist! What beautiful, imaginative work.. ....never a dull moment, I'm sure . . ...

Russel, the frog puppets are fab. When I was in high school and you were a wee baby or less, I took all the sewing classes available. I wanted to make costumes for Miss Piggy. When that didn't work out, I thought I would make my daughters lots of princess dresses. When that didn't work out, I did make a few Batman and cowboy costumes.

Patti, I made the gluten-free Pantry French bread yesterday. If you like white bread, it's good. I never was a big white bread fan. Cut some up and coated with olive oil and toasted in the oven. Dipped them in cheese fondue. Tasty. Great for day old toast. Made way too much for just me so I'm going to pulverize some for bread crumbs. I make a green bean & Swiss cheese dish that needs bread crumbs on the top.

Ooh--that cheese fondue sounds so good!

The French bread makes really good croutons and breadcrumbs--and turkey dressing. I like that mix a lot--I started making it 5 years ago because I was also dairy free and it didn't contain any tapioca either which doesn't like me.

I actually liked the taste of the Sandwich Bread when I made it recently--it tasted more like homemade eggbread--denser than the French. It just rose so danged much.....I'll probably go back to the French since I can slice it thinner--I slice and freeze it when cool and then use as I need it from the freezer. Lasts me quite a while unless I make grilled sammies cause Mark eats it that way too.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.
    • RMJ
That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?
    • Fayeb23
Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
