Jyaghnutt, you are likely the only one 'round here with a girl young enough to be insanely obsessed with this sixteen-year old singer. Well, we do all know who Justin Bieber is . . . I can nae stand him . . . or his hair. I am lucky that my daughter does not go ga-ga over any young stars. She does like music, but she likes the songs, not the stars . . . and I don't believe that Justin has made it onto her ipod. Loved the clip . . . especially the part about the hair :lol:

These teen boy idols always sort of creeped me out. Even when I was the target age. We had Leif Garrett and we all know how well his life turned out ( still battling drugs 30 years later). Donny Osmond was the only one that turned out Ok.

Had all his 45's, his was my first concert ever, had a huge poster of him in my room.....

Political rally was fabulous. I'm really not into being in crowds, or politics, but it was a lot of fun watching people respond to someone they liked. And Obama laughed when he got woofed at (UW mascot is the Husky). I am completely exhausted, in part because I got up early to get there early, and in part because being around all the energy really wipes you out.

I'm with you with the haircut. My son came home from college for the first time this weekend and immediately wanted a haircut because he felt "Bieberfied."

      (I'm new to this forum!) I have always had problems with Bob's Red Mill's certified gluten-free oats and oat flour, but have been able to eat other certified gluten-free oats, from Only Oats for example. I'd be interested to know the results of other products you test as well, particularly beans, as I have a hard time finding gluten-free beans in Canada.

      With all symptoms of gluten intolerance, I have begun searching for appropriate food replacements. In particular I need advice on the choice of wheat-free bread. The choice is vast so choosing the grain alone is confusing.Naturally taste is a personal choice but any thoughts you have will be greatly appreciated.

      Yes, it is important to get 25OHD blood and PTH tested and monitored.  My doctor tests me 4 times a year along with homocysteine and the other blood panels.  Massive vitamin D doses under a doctors care can raise vitamin D level quickly, but those doses wear off in about three months, so either sun or supplementation needs to be instituted in order to not lose the gain.  There have been numerous clinical trials on kidney transplant patients with doses as high a 1.5million IU with no ill effects.  But those are a one time bolus under the care of doctors.  One conumdrus of these really high  dose supplements is a higher incidence of falls.  The answer is that the patient feels so good, they are more active than usual before regaining strength and balance.
