ok but wait - - I only eat and write left-handed. Everything else is strong right - tennis, batting, etc. etc. and kick w/ right foot.......

Me, too. Though I prefer to eat right handed because I bump elbows if I eat left handed. But I eat just as easily with my left hand as my right.

With some practice, I could write right handed .... I will sign my name, or write something short with my right hand if I'm holding something in my left.

When I was a child, I was totally ambidextrous .... did not know my right from my left for years!

Why do you think I'm called curlyfries?

I assumed you loved curly fries :lol:

Wow, lots of curly haired lefties, I thought we were the minority

I also just eat and write with my left hand, I do most everything else with my right hand.

So I went outside, and sure enough-- Ezra is standing under the tree, pitiful look on his face, head stuck to the bird feeder.

:lol: Poor Ez! You've painted this picture so well, Sarah....I can see him so clearly....

Em, congrats on yer pap and your convoluted cervix. I have the same. (v. painful paps as quite hard to access :o )

This guy made the dreaded test pain-free, and speedy as hell.....quite a magic man. He should be given a key to the city, methinks.

And I didn't even pull out the sparkles!

Don't have any in the house, as my kids seem to have outgrown them, and all the crafty things they entail...I do still have some peel-and-stick Ottawa Senators tattoos, and I thought of putting one right where he'd be descending, as we have talked in the past about being loyal fans.

Next year.

Patti - gloss-black stool to go w/ yer chairs. Yes, since WHEN have we been painting our stools?

:o Whoa...black stools....hemmorroids?

Yep.....that'll be me! I have a totally dyslexic brain when it comes to right handed gadgets  I didn't figure out until I was 18 why my shoes never stayed tied  I was tying them 1/2 left handed and 1/2 right handed!

I'm a southpaw, as well...always had trouble with can openers....

I had a thought about the quicksand one, you know you don't hear so much about quicksand anymore. It used to be in a movie or two, and several tv shows...oh, it's the dreaded quicksand, however will they get out....... but no, not so much anymore.

It's true...where is all the quicksand? Where are all the travelling vacuum salesmen?

Hmmmmm.....could there be a relationship there?

I do remember a few classic things like the Puffy Shirt, or the Man Bra, the Soup Nazi......

No, stick around. Then there will be at least two of us righties here. I don't have curly hair.

This is not just a community of curly-haired, left-handed women. B)

OMG! a startling epiphany!

the ones who like mathS are the ones who are right-handed w/ the straight hair. All others, if I'm not mistaken, DO NOT like the mathS...........

We have not yet heard from Bev and Tom and Amanda on this.......who else am I missing?

Righty here. Strongly Right-eyed even

......do y'all remember the episode when George abstained from sex and became smarter, Elaine participated and got increasingly dumber..........so - -she's standing in front of this - what in hell was it? - rotating helix-type shape - maybe in front of a tire store er sumfin'? and it's going round and round......and she's standing in front of it, her head going round and round, mimicking the motion of the thing-y, with a huge, dopey grin on her face.......and she's laughing like a simpleton and clapping her hands with glee...................

so that's what I was doing.

I remember it well .. ...George's girlfriend wanted to try celibacy. He ended up gettin' back in the game w/ a Portugese waitress.

I can picture Elaine in her long brown winter coat in front of the tire store, clapping black-gloved hands w/ that moronic glee.

Susie? Tri-tip? Good? Edible?

Why am I so blah again today? Yesterday seemed to be SO on the upswing.

:(

Did I see Patti & Susie say they have curly hair??

I'm right handed and left eyed, and consequently dyslexic. Can only go places I've already been

Curly haired and right handed, here-- strongly-- right armed, right legged, and definitely right eared!

Both of my boys are right handed, but Brian started out as a leftie... he saw all the other five-year-olds writing with their right hands, though, and switched!

MORONIC GLEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that pleased me......

yes, curly hair here. and I LOATHE it - - just want long, silky tresses.......

Tri tip was VERY good! So easy - put it on the grill, flip it once, and go get it when you remember it. Weezee had NEVER EVER been so interested in being outside at night - - I've never barbecued while living in this house (three years) and she was out of her dingo-addled mind........kept revisiting the area of the exquisite smell.......in and out and in and out, long after the meat was in the fridge, the look on her face a mix of joy, pleasure, loss and pain all at once.

Pthghaoeughaaaaaaaaaghmn - - <------- *snigger*

These bad days........ :( so heinous......I've had several in a row lately and feel sooooooooooo tired, so dull, so flat and worthless.........I don't know what's up (save for today) but I do clearly know I'm not being as careful w/ food as in the past. Taking more risks all the time.......not good.

but what about our founder, Richard? Is he left-handed and curly-haired? I must pm him with this urgent query.............

Did I see Patti & Susie say they have curly hair??

Yes....mine has been "relaxed" for the past couple of years but I'm seriously thinking of stopping that and wearing it natural again. Too much wear and tear on the ol' mane B) Of course, this plan will entail a substantial haircut......what to do????

How about Alex? Yes, we don't know about our founding King, either...

It is more likely code for “we think there really was a good response to the treatment, but it was small or in a small percent of subjects so it would take a large clinical trial to try to prove it.”

Thank you so much for your replies. Luckily the rash went away when I completely swore off gluten. It took several months but I have not had a flare in months. So a biopsy is no longer possible. The itch was terrible and apart from bleaching my skin the steroid lotions and potions did nothing. The Gliadin is for accidents and shall be a part of my travel kit from now on. This past exposure has made a me a little leery about eating anything that was not cooked in my kitchen or a dedicated gluten-free restaurant. As much as I used to love baked goods, I am cured and have become quite the gluten free baker to the point that friends and family forget that my cakes/cookies/and bread are not "real". I guess I will have to wait for the new blood test to come out to get confirmation but I have a suspicion that the rash was dermatitis herpetiformis.

Hello, I just wanted to share with the frustration of skin issues and seeing dermatologist and medications not working for years, I did my own healing experiment. As of last week I have been taking a drop internally under the tongue of Vetiver and putting on topically on sores Yellow/Pom.I am seeing a extreme difference at a rapid time.Im also noticing my nails a little harder. Ive always been into natural properties because I feel its safer for the body.I know short time, but really seeing a difference. I also feel the the trapped gases that causes bloating helps break down as well.Curious if any body else can benefit from and has tried. Products is made by Doterra by Dr Hill

I agree with @trents, and the rash you described, especially its location and resistance to steroids, sounds highly characteristic of dermatitis herpetiformis, which is the skin manifestation of celiac disease. The severe and prolonged reaction you're describing five days after a small exposure is, while extreme, not unheard of for those with a high sensitivity; the systemic inflammatory response can absolutely last for several days or even weeks, explaining why you still don't feel right. Your plan to avoid a formal gluten challenge is completely understandable given the severity of your reactions, and many choose the same path for their well-being. While experiences with GliadinX (they are a sponsor here) are mixed, some people do report a reduction in the severity of their symptoms when taken with accidental gluten, though it is crucial to remember it is not a cure or a license to eat gluten and its effectiveness can vary from person to person. For now, the absolute best advice is to continue being hyper-vigilant about cross-contamination—buffets are notoriously high-risk, even with good intentions. Connecting with a gastroenterologist and a dermatologist who specialize in celiac disease is essential for navigating diagnosis and management moving forward. Wishing you a swift recovery from this last exposure. If you have DH you will likely also want to avoid iodine, which is common in seafoods and dairy products, as it can exacerbate symptoms in some people. This article may also be helpful as it offers various ways to relieve the itch:
