Who can forget George running from the bathroom to the phone, with his pants around his ankles, falling face first on the floor--and Jerry walks in and says "and you want to be my new latex salesman!"

Say Vandelay! Say Vandelay!

Yep--George at the unemployment office, and on the date with the woman's daughter--"if I need a drill bit, I'll call ya <_< ". That episode had so many great moments....

AND YOU WANT TO BE MY LATEX SALESMAN :lol::lol:

oh dear God.....my mom and I love Vindaloo Chicken...but we now call it Vandalay Industries chicken.....:lol::lol:

Julie - Kramer didn't have a tan from Kenny's Roasters - but the light from the sign shining in his apartment - or, "the red planet" they were calling it, was bright red, and he wasn't sleeping, I think? so Jerry stayed there - couldn't sleep and I think that's when he thought he saw the little puppet/man running across the floor...."mr...???" what was the puppet's name? someone here will know.....:lol::lol:

Hey guys and girls:

As many may have noticed, I am a constant lurker here. I have not posted much at all (don't want to offend anyone, sheesh). By the way, Steve and I kissed and made up. Guess I'm safe here

You all just crack me up and Richard is the funniest, whitiest guy around. I just love to read his posts. The construction worker with the thongs had me laughing all day and his presentation....all too perfect.

Has anyone asked him what his user name means, or if obvious and I don't get it, or has it been asked before.

Thanks for entertaining me.

Lisa

Lisa--it's Latin for "Poison Wheat". :)

Carla - sorry your demon braces hurt. I had braces from ages 9-12 and then again from 37-39 (a month shy of 40). Mine hurt like heck for 2-3 days when I first got them on and then every time they'd be adjusted. Applesauce, canned pears and chicken broth were my friends. So unfair to not be able to eat yogurt and ice cream!

I worked today and couldn't catch up on all the reading, but tried to hit the funny highlights. You're all hysterical!

Thanks for the food suggestions. I went to choir practice tonight, it hurt very much to play my flute ...

Doc wants me eating lots of protein .... I had chicken broth tonight, I might be eating a lot of scrambled eggs, avocados and over-cooked carrots!!

Wood working, it has a place in our house.

My husband, retired, makes humidors and various boxes and sells them. Some bring him attic flooring and ask that he make boxes out of the home wood., for their children .

Wish I had your translation earlier, I could have used it. :) Please keep me laughing. :)

Does he remind anybody else of Brad Pitt's older brother?

I don't think Steven will be pleased with the "company". I think he took the dingo's for sushi last night.

Thanks. Since the back and forth and promises of review and general stalling went on for more than six months, the credit company will no longer investigate. They have a cutoff of maybe six months.

Is this the same restaurant? https://www.facebook.com/TheHappyTartFallsChurch/ Is it too late to take this up with your credit card company? Normally you have a few months to do a chargeback with them. It seems very odd that they are taking this approach with someone who is likely to be a regular customer--not a good business-minded way of handling things!

Many people with celiac disease, especially those who are in the 0-2 year range of their recovery, have additional food intolerance issues which could be temporary. To figure this out you may need to keep a food diary and do an elimination diet over a few months. Some common food intolerance issues are dairy/casein, eggs, corn, oats, and soy. The good news is that after your gut heals (for most people who are 100% gluten-free this will take several months to two years) you may be able to slowly add some these items back into your diet after the damaged villi heal. This article may be helpful: The most common nutrient deficiencies associated with celiac disease that may lead to testing for the condition include iron, vitamin D, folate (vitamin B9), vitamin B12, calcium, zinc, and magnesium.  Unfortunately many doctors, including my own doctor at the time, don't do extensive follow up testing for a broad range of nutrient deficiencies, nor recommend that those just diagnosed with celiac disease take a broad spectrum vitamin/mineral supplement, which would greatly benefit most, if not all, newly diagnosed celiacs. Because of this it took me decades to overcome a few long-standing issues I had that were associated with gluten ataxia, for example numbness and tingling in my feet, and muscle knots--especially in my shoulders an neck. Only long term extensive supplementation has helped me to resolve these issues.

Absolutely my point with Kerrigan, the owner. She stood to secure many years of faithful patronage by simply inviting us in for a pastry or lunch. Or by simply producing another $50 e-card based on trust. We would have been highly satisfied. We are limited to a few restaurants in the area, and that would have been one. It was very disappointing, esp to my wife, to realize we can't patronize the place anymore.
