Impossible Cheeseburger Pie/bisquick Substitute

I am craving an impossible cheeseburger pie which includes 1/2 c of bisquick and basically makes its own crust, if you haven't had it. I have some Pamela's baking mix and was wondering if anyone has suggestions on the best way to substitute it.

Thanks!

i googled it and this is what i found.

1 lb. ground beef

1 onion

Salt & pepper

1- 1/2 cups milk

3 eggs

3/4 cup G.F. flour mix

2 Tomatoes sliced (approx)

1 generous cup shredded cheese

Heat oven to 400 F

Brown ground beef and onion in frying pan

Put in 10' pie plate. Add salt and pepper

Beat milk, eggs and flour until smooth.

Pour over meat. Bake 25 minutes

Add sliced tomatoes

Add cheese on top of pie

Bake 5-8 minutes more

Let cool for a couple of minutes

Cut and enjoy

Serve with rice.

I have subbed the Pamela's mix for bisquick in the imposible cheeseburger pie recipe from the Bisquick website lots of times. I just use it out 1:1 for the bisquick component of the recipe. It works great.

Can you make this in a premade pie crust without bisquick?? perhaps using gluten-free flour?

123 Gluten Free biscuit mix might work? I dunno...

Thanks! I thought about making a separate crust and making it crustless. Making it the regular way sounds best of all. I can't wait!
