Forgive me if this has recently been discussed. I just ate part of this pizza tonight, and I feel SO bloated and nauseous. It didn't even taste that great to begin with. Anyone else have this issue with this kind of pizza? Anyone have a good premade frozen pizza brand they can recommend? Or even crusts/dough? I made a pizza with Glutino pizza crusts a couple of years ago, and they were just plain disgusting. Dunno if that's changed since then or not.

Amy's products seem to have a CC risk. I use Kinnickinnick shells, 4 to a $9 package, and keep Hormel pepperoni on hand. When I feel like a 'do it yourself' fresh crust to me you can't beat Gluten Free Pantries French Bread mix. It makes a great deep dish crust once you get used to spreading it with a spacula.

It made me sick but I'm pretty sure it was just because it is a HORRIBLE excuse for a pizza :)

I've been a celiac for 7 years and I stopped eating Amy's 7 years ago :) They just have always made me feel crappy and honestly, never really have made the effort to make their product any more delicious!

To me, Udi's has the best pizza crust, and it's so easy to make your own.

Amy's has never bothered me and I consider myself very sensitive.

And to be honest, I find it hard to believe that Amy's products are making other people sick. I'm not saying that they aren't - I'm just saying I find it hard to believe that someone could be THAT sensitive. I

n the end, you gotta do what works for you, so if makes you feel like poop, just don't eat it. It might not be the gluten in there, if there is any, that's making you feel sick. Could very well be some other ingredient. Unfortunately (and I guess fortunately) everyone's different.

You find it hard to believe that Amy's makes other people sick?? There are a ton of threads on this website that confirms just that. Sorry, but I don't typically come on this site and lie about getting sick from a product, that would serve no purpose. Be careful with how you say things on this board, perhaps you weren't trying to offend, but the very nature of your post accuses many others of being liars.

That was the first product I purchased when I went gluten free... it was almost enough to send me packing. It is disgusting.

If you live near a Sprouts, they carry fresh gluten free pizza. It is a personal size with light sauce, light cheese and 8 minutes in the toaster oven and it is crisp and delicious - only 3.99. Ok... it's not quite Dominoes.... but it is yummo!

My daughter has had issues with Amy's, too, yeah. Not all the time - and she's tried multiple products. We finally had to give them up, though. she might be fine for 2-3 times in a row, and then the next time she'd be very sick. It wasn't worth the risk for us.

Kinnickinick worked the best for my daughter, out of all of them, although we didn't try that many (never tried udi's)

I just bought and ate some amy's cheese pizza last night. It was my first time buying a gluten free product and have only been gluten free for 5 days since my endoscopy. I didn't mind the taste and was excited to be able to eat pizza.

Big mistake!!! An hour later my stomach started hurting and hasn't stopped for 18 hrs!!

I wonder if it's something about just the pizza. I eat the Amy's "TV dinners" very often (seriously, I've starve if I didn't). Just had one of the teriyaki bowls today, and I eat the cheese enchiladas and the tamale verde a lot and never have issues. I'm thinking the crusts are on the same conveyor belt as the non-gluten-free ones and it doesn't get cleaned well enough. Or maybe the gluten flour is still in the air. I dunno.

Amy's is out for me. I ate her stuff pre-gluten and had no problems. Once I went gluten free I got very sick (it was not pizza) and haven't touched it since.

      Im so frustrated and still getting the run around trying to reprove my celiac disease which my past primary ignored for 25 years.I understand that theres a ray of medical that doctors are limited too but not listening and telling the patient ( me) that im not as sensitive as I think and NOT celiac!Correction Mr white coat its not what I think but for cause and affect and past test that are not sticking in my medical records.I get sick violently with foods consumed, not eating the foods will show Im fabulous. After many blood draws and going through doctors I have the HLA- DQ2 positive which I read in a study that Iran conducted that the severity in celiac is in that gene.Im glutenfree and dealing with related issues which core issue of celiac isn't addressed. My skin, right eye, left leg diagestive issues affected. I have high blood pressure because im in pain.Im waisting my time on trying to reprove that Im celiac which is not a disease I want, but unfortunately have.It  has taken over my life personally and professionally. How do I stop getting medically gaslight and get the help needed to bounce back if I ever do bounce back to normal? I thought I was in good care with " celiac specialist " but in her eyes Im good.Im NOT.Sibo positive, IBS, Chronic Fatigue just to name a few and its all related to what I like to call a ghost disease ( celiac) since doctors don't seem to take it seriously.

      @Martha Mitchell, your reaction to the lens implant with gluten sounds like it could be an allergic reaction rather than a celiac reaction. It is possible for a celiac to be also allergic to gluten as it is a protein component in wheat, barley and rye.

      Scott I also have different symptoms than most people. It affects me bad. Stomach ache, headache, nauseous, heart racing, whole body shaking, can't walk then my throat starts to close. It attacks my nervous system. The only thing that saves me is a 1/2 of Xanax...it calms down my nervous system

      Scott Adams. I was dealing with a DR that didn't care about me being celiac. I repeatedly told him that I was celiac and is everything gluten-free. He put an acrylic lens from j&j. I called the company to ask about gluten and was told yes that the acrylic they use has gluten....then they back tracked immediately and stopped talking to me. The Dr didn't care that I was having issues. It took me 6 months and a lot of sickness to get it removed.... which can only happen within 6 months. The Dr that took it out said that it was fused and that's why I lost vision. If they would have removed it right away everything would be fine. He put in a silicone one that was gluten-free and I've had no issues at all in the other eye. Do not do acrylic!
