I'm 18 and was diagonased a little over 2 years ago and have been extremly strick with my gluten-free diet ever since. Last summer I had a case of pneumonia for about 2 weeks and got over that about 2 weeks later I got this super intense pain in my chest it was so bad that I couldn't move it covered my left side from about midribs to my neck, my mom called the doctor and they told me to take an antiacid and call back if it didn't help. well it didn't so my mom called back and she had me come in, the doctor examined me and said I probibly pulled a muscle in betwen my ribs and it would go away. they put me on pain kilers, tylonol with codine and then a stronger one and neither of them helped. this intense pain lasted about a month but i had to go back to school with in 2 weeks, so i powered through. I keep getting the same pain off and on to where it brings tears to breath and the pain is over within 1 or 2 minutes. has anyone else experienced anything like this if so i could really use some info because i my doctor doesn't believe me (looking for a new doc.)

thanks

nicole

It can be a pinched nerve in your spine, not muscle. Go to see good chiropractor. He should check your spine and correct it. It happened to me many times. The pain is unbearable and just very little movement would set it off. The pain pills wouldn't help much, if the nerve is still pinched.

Others may have different ideas, but to me it sounds like pinched nerve.

Sounds to me like Open Original Shared Link had it happen twice. Terrible. No association with Celiac Disease so far as I know.

"Conclusions: The urinary iodine level was significantly lower in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis, and iodine replacement may be important in preventing osteoporosis"  Body iodine status in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis Low iodine can cause thyroid problems, but Iodine deficiency will not show up in thyroid tests.  Iodine is important for healing, its job is to kill off defective and aging cells (Apoptosis). Skin, brain fog, nails, muscle tone all inproved when I started taking 600 mcg (RDA 150 - 1000 mcg) of Liquid Iodine drops. Some with dermatitis herpetiformis, Iodine exacerbates the rash.  I started at 1 drop (50 mcg) and worked up to 12 drops, but I don't have dermatitis herpetiformis.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and I found myself giggling with happiness as I read how your body reached such spring! And I hope that your current journey is also successful!! Definitely starting the food diary! So many amazing advices. And it’s very scary. It really hits all our soft spots as well as our confidence system. Most doctors I went thought I was underage despite being in my late 20s. Right now I look like am I twelve, but is also this body that’s taking so much, so I might as well love it too! Going to make the necessary changes and stay in this path. Thank you again! 🫶

Thank you so much for the information and kind message! Reading this transformed how I’ve been viewing my efforts and progress. Guess there’s still a lot to celebrate and also heal 😌  Yes, I’ve been taking it! Just recently started taking a multivitamin supplement and separated vitamin D! I also took chewable Iron polymaltose for ferritin deficiency 2 months ago but was unable to absorb any of it.  Thank you again! Hearing such gentle words from the community makes my body and heart more patient and excited for the future.
