Looks like i am gonna call a G.I. doctor when the weekend is through. My neck tightness is getting near unbearable. It feels like something is stuck in my throat all the time. It is hard to swallow. I was baking with BobsRed Mill pizza crust mix and i got some on my arm stuc like glue. I use my nails to scratch it off and noticed (after already eating some pizza that my arm was red, inflamed and rashed where i had scratched off the pasty dough. Could I be allergic to the yeast?

I can't speak to any possible allergies you might have to something in Bob's Red Mill, but the throat tightness is reminiscent of how I feel if my thyroid is not functioning well. Also, there are lymph nodes on either side of your thyroid gland that, if swollen, can press on the thyroid and make you feel as though you're being strangled. Has a doctor examined both your thyroid and the lymph nodes in your throat?

No but i have a college level knowledge of anatomy (human anatomy and physiology II). I do know my lymphnodes in my neck have been swollen but i could have more swelling developing but it seems to be worse after eating. When i wake in the morning it isnt noticeable. I dont have acid reflux unless i am backed up and have indigestion. A doctor has examined the back of my throat but not through a scope. I have had "cottage cheese" in the back of my throat off and on around about where my tonsils are but no tonsil swelling.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.

I hope you are on the mend soon. About 1 in 5 people who contracted chicken pox as a child go on to develop shingles in later life - it is not uncommon. There are 5 known members of the herpes virus family including chicken pox that commonly infect humans, and they all cause lifelong infections. The exact cause of viral reactivation as in the case of shingles or cold sores is not well understood, but stress, sunburn and radiotherapy treatment are known triggers. Some of the herpes viruses are implicated in triggering autoimmune diseases: Epstein-Barr virus is suspected of triggering multiple sclerosis and lupus, and there is a case where it is suspected of triggering coeliac disease. As to whether coeliac disease can increase the likelihood of viral reactivation, there have been several cohort studies including a large one in Sweden suggesting that coeliac disease is associated with a moderate increase in the likelihood of developing shingles in people over the age of 50. US 2024 - Increased Risk of Herpes Zoster Infection in Patients with Celiac Disease 50 Years Old and Older Sweden 2018 - Increased risk of herpes zoster in patients with coeliac disease - nationwide cohort study

BFree bread is fortified with vitamins and minerals as is ASDA own-brand gluten-free bread. All the M&S bread seems to be fortified also.
