ARCHIVED Tightness Of Jaw And Grinding Of Teeth
Sweetfudge replied to Ricado's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
I also wear a night guard. I find that I grind my teeth mostly when I have been under a lot of stress. I don't believe it is gluten related in my case. Although I do grind during the day when I am stressed, it is not as bad. -
hm, can't think of anything off the top of my head, but i thought I'd mention that my 15 y-o brother is in a robotics club through his high school. He LOVES it! They have exibits at malls and science fair things, and they compete w/ other schools. they are even going to Disneyland this spring! It seems like a really fun thing to get into!

ARCHIVED Any Way To Help Feel Better After Being Glutened?
Sweetfudge replied to mom-to-claire's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
yes, drink lots of liquids. i like to curl up with a hot bean bag on my stomach area, or soak in a warm bath. don't eat any "intense" foods. just easy to digest stuff like rice and chicken. -
ARCHIVED Aaaah! Glutened Twice This Week!
Sweetfudge replied to Sweetfudge's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Sorry your mom isn't any better. I know, I screamed at my husband the other day for using HIS butterknife to butter his bread with MY butter! I don't go out to eat often, but I miss it a lot! Congrats on the business! Wow you have a lot of stuff on there! Do you make it all or just sell it? I'm gonna have to put in an order once I get some extra money... -
ARCHIVED gluten-free Cf Pizza
Sweetfudge replied to Corkdarrr's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
This sounds amazing! I might just make some tonight! I was thinking it would be good w/out the crust too! I don't know if I could handle the concept of rice on pizza...lol Although, if you are into funky pizzas, there's a place in Portland, called Pizza Schmizza, which I used to eat at all the time growing up...anyway, they make fun... -
ARCHIVED My Vitamins Are Not Digesting
Sweetfudge replied to kathy2005's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
i have heard of the outside of pills not getting digested, but if the whole thing is going through untouched, that does sound like absorbtion problems. try looking for a pill that has the label that guarantees it is dissolved within an hour...i don't remember what it's called...i take Lame Advertisement's multivitimins, and never noticed a problem with them... -
ARCHIVED Chocholate Chip Question
Sweetfudge replied to zachsmom's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications

Sweetfudge replied to nik-ed's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Here's a link to my blog. I have a great peppermint bark recipe here, it has a creamy chocolate center. I also have a recipe there for cheese-its...the closest to a real cracker I have tried since going gluten-free! Even my gluten-eating husband, who loves the real ones, says these were pretty good! -

ARCHIVED gluten-free Cf Pizza
Sweetfudge replied to Corkdarrr's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
I think a ranch pizza would be good too. I'm trying to remember...a friend of mine once made a gorgeous garden salad pizza...I think it was lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and sour cream mixed with a dill spice mixture...sub CF sour cream or yogurt...that would be good too. I would make a pesto pizza! Easy to make or buy pesto! Heck, you could just make it... -

Okay, so I'm going to San Diego next week. We probably will be eating out, and I've got lists galore of all the safe places to eat.
