  1. Hmmm... I looked on the online menu and didn't see it. I will look again.
  2. Last time we went to a health food store in a different city, daughter went hog wild on various pasta. I couldn't see the point really since I can get several kinds of good pasta at our local health food store and our cupboard was already full. But since I had a $5 off coupon and had to buy a certain amount of stuff to use it, I let her get what she wanted...
  3. Yes. Although it isn't a craving per se, I know my body needs it because when I eat vegan for too long, I go anemic. Because I am allergic to dairy and eggs, I can't have those. I mainly eat ground beef. It's easy to mix in stuff. I can't digest steak at all and don't do well with roast beef. I too have problems with chicken. I buy the canned kind...
  4. I wonder if they all have this? We just turned down a dinner there the other night because I didn't think I could eat there. We usually go to The Old Spaghetti Factory if we want pasta.
  5. My daughter eats the turkey, chicken and ham with no problems. But if you have a sugar issue, that could be it.
  6. In the US, I believe there are no safe Campbell's soups. I can't easily see the source of the gluten in some though, like the bean with bacon.
  7. I have not bought them in a while. I believe I used to buy a chicken and vegetable that was safe, but daughter didn't like it. There could be others that are okay, but we have additional allergies. Shelton's makes a chicken and wild rice and I believe they also have a chili that is safe. Hormel chili is safe. Pacific makes some boxed soups that are...
  8. I didn't know they were the same! I've been buying both.
  9. I just thought of another one. Bought some no boil lasagna noodles and attemtped to use them as directed on the box. Well, I now know what happens if you don't totally cover them with a lot of sauce! They come out hard and crispy. I had worked all day making a sauce from scratch. This was many years ago when there weren't too many pre-made sauces available...
  10. I made several recipes from that 365 blog site. I liked all of them, but didn't try one. Can't remember what it was but it had sweet potatoes and I don't like those. For some reason, my husband and daughter hated every recipe I tried from there. I don't know why. I REALLY liked the one with chicken, wild rice and faux cream of mushroom soup. Mostly...
  11. We don't eat cheese, but you may be able to make them into a casserole to make the edible. Layer them with some meat, ground beef or chicken, perhaps with chili powder to season, and some salsa and olives. Maybe. Just maybe.
  12. Wow! There are three of us when my husband is home and I spend a lot more than that per week. That's not even counting all the supplements I have to take! We do eat pasta frequently. My husband is Italian.
  13. Okay. I will check to see if I have any sauce. We try not to do soy.
  14. I just bought that. Didn't realize you have to add sauce. What kind of sauce do you use?
  15. Are those the rice ones? We tried them but at our health food store they come frozen. Hard to get just one out of the package and have it be intact.
  16. Oops! They made a boo boo. You can order 60 assorted or bags of your choice of items. I did my choice but it seems instead of 10 bags of honey BBQ chips, they sent crab. Apparently daughter doesn't like crab. She put them in a basket and she's giving them to her dad for his birthday. Hehehe.
  17. I just got an order from their website. Single serve bags for back to school.

    ARCHIVED Taco Bell

Taco Del Mar has a gluten free menu listed on their website. They do have a few items on the menu that contain gluten so you do have to be careful when you order. We usually get their bowls. Daughter sometimes gets the soft tacos. They make them with corn tortillas, but they use double tortillas per taco so it's too many carbs for me. We've had the ground...
  19. Wow! You have more than me!
  20. Okay. Thanks!
  21. I used to always make an extra serving of whatever was for dinner and send it in, in a thermos. If there were no leftovers, I would send in Organ canned pasta, Sheltons chicken and rice soup, tomato soup, chicken and rice, a can of Vienna sausages, canned fruit or a fruit cup, fruit snacks, chips, humms, Enjoy Life cookies and almost always baby carrots...
  22. There is no way! I checked through the whole month of Sept. and every meal has something wheat based in it. Daughter does have additional allergies. Things were so much easier when she could just buy lunch.
  23. I don't personally get that because I can't stand feeling sick so I avoid things that have made me feel sick. I do know of people though who say they crave what their allergens are. I guess we're all different.
  24. I can relate. Although gluten is not a problem for me (is for my daughter), I am diabetic. When I first learned of that, I refused to go anywhere where food was involved unless I were certain I could get what I needed to eat there. I was also a vegetarian (by choice) and that in itself was limiting. Then I learned of other medical issues, food allergies...
