It will hit your Lympatic system and spread through the body and effect your nevous system as well. Most times when I get glutened it is from a prescription med that wasn...
  2. Usually when I digest gluten or wheat I have a 4 hour window before reacting. If it is immediate it may be an intollerence to another food. Dairy, Frutose, and bacteria (SIBO) will react with many of the celiac disease symtoms.Has your Doctor ran a Fructose test which is measuring your Fruit Sugar? A Hydrogen Beath Test which checks your intestinal bacteria...
  3. thank you for your advice. I have always taken them and I use Stonehedge because they are in a glass bottle, but don't have to be refrigerated. I also like they are 3rd party tested and state gluten free. But you never know if something better has come alone over the years.
  4. Which brand of Probiotics is best for Celiac disease?
  5. Maybe you have a low intolerance to Wheat. Rye, Barley and Malt are the gluten in Celiac disease. It has always been stated Wheat and Gluten, not just a Wheat intolerance. Barley will keep me in bed for (2) weeks. Gut, Migrains, Brain fog, Diahrea. It is miserable. And when I was a toddler the doctor would give me a malt medicine because I always...
  6. It took 2 1/2 years for my levels to come down. I don't understand your testing. To be safe with my test I need to be <26. When first tested my level was 272. Maybe they are runing a different test now days. I have a tTg IgA EMA ran yearly and it is sent to Mayo Clinic. I have had Celiac since age 9 months and I am 76 now. It took 50 years being...

  8. Yes mostly found on RX pill capsules and store bought shredded cheese are the worst for me.
  9. Scott I have a question for you. My Sister-in-Law, whose Son is a Chiroprator, tells her People with Celiac wouldn't have Celiac if they would just introduce a little at a time gluten into their system. I am always argueing with her about this. I will no longer eat at her home or eat anything she brings to our home. I know at one time Dr. Murray from...
  10. those are spring roll wrappers and will not work for true egg rolls; they kept fall apart. But thank you for your reply.
  11. Has anyone found Gluten free Eggroll wraps? I have always made eggrolls; 50 at a time and can no longer find gluten free wraps. We have many Asian stores in our area but they do not carry them. And the place I used to purchase them is no longer in business. I do not like the egg or cheese ones they have come out with; they are not big enough or strong...
  12. I had a dental bridge put in about a year ago. My mouth has been inflamed even since. Sensitive to hot and cold liquids and food. Seems like I am at the dentist constantly having it adjusted. I think the dental bridge may have gluten in it. Today I asked the dentist to remove it and see if my mouth will heal. In constant pain all the time. Skin is...
  13. Bud Light has a flavored Seltzer with 5 percent alcohol saying it is gluten free using malted rice. Is this a trusted statement and safe to drink?
  14. It may be gluten free, but it does not mention what type of bun it is placed on. So those thinking it is safe, may be at risk if the bun isn't gluten free.
  15. What ABOUT THE BUN WHICH IS PICTURED. Have seen any mention the bun is gluten free.
  16. I have had 2 knee replacements and am suppose to take antibiotics before dental appointments. First I was on Clindamycin, caused throwing up and horrible taste for days on end. Next Cephalexin; more throwing up, bloating, chest pains, muscle pain. Now they want to use Levofloxacin. Not finding it on the gluten-free drug list. Have any...
  17. Doctors who treat and research Celiac tell patients to never take activated charcoal as it can cause more harm than good.
  18. Felt like I wrote this article. Same thing our support group is dealing with. Wish I had a clear answer as what to do. Our support group was formed in 1979 and has always been active until 3 years ago. As we have aged, the younger members don't seem to have time to step up and take on group meetings and activities. Bless all those with Celiac and...
  19. You are very fortunate; most people gain between 20-35 pounds after going gluten free because of all the carbs in the pastas and breads and flours. What is your secret? Theresa2407
