  1. If that's how he is without being on anything, just imagine if he were - on something, I mean
  2. Iffen you can get it by MAF (Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries) They frown quite severely on that kind of stuph (after the rabbit - and possum, and stoat, and etc. debacles, you unnerstand). Next, someone will have the bright idea to introduce snakes to catch all them varmints, and then we will have to import the whole of the world's ecosystem to...
  3. I am so sorry your neighborhood is being overpopulated with lunatics, IH. At least our lunatics who invade our peaceful little bay down below with their jetskis go home at night and we can live in peace for a while. Ironically, I believe for a long time it was illegal to sell wabbits as food in stores or to keep a pet wabbit - afraid someone would...
  4. Hello and welcome to the board. I am sorry your daughter is continuing to experience problems. The one condition that comes to mind, that is often seen with celiac disease in children, is eosinophilic esophagitis which can cause the kind of symptoms your daughter is experiencing. Can you call your GI's office and get her on a cancellation list so that...
  5. With some forms of celiac disease, the symptomatology is not gastrointestinal - the neurological symptoms are a good example - so you cannot measure your improvement on the diet in the same way as with GI symptoms. It makes it harder to judge whether you are still getting gluten because you don't have that immediate GI response. But in answer to your topic...
  6. Lest I be perceived as a bunny monster, I set forth the following: Take a small country the size of Colorado; let there be no predatory mammals or reptiles there; and let us introduce the too cuuute little bunny rabbit with his cottontail and his and her breeding propensities with no natural enemy; let this country produce the greatest graslands and...
  7. Bad Girls - Donna Summer
  8. Tango in The Night - Fleetwood Mac I only hunt wabbits what eat my herbs (uninvited), so you are safe, Bun Bun.
  9. Yellow - Coldplay
  10. Baby Don't Go - Sonny and Cher\\\ (Hi Patti - waves wildly )

And then there's the tooth fairy who will exchange your tooth under the pillow for a sixpence! Now we all know by a certain age that these are our moms and dads, but some of us continue to believe that the medical professionals are the Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy who can work magic, when in reality they are - just like all of us - flawed human beings...
  12. It seems more reversible if you get it early. I got it in my sixties and am on permanent RA meds for it (psoriatic arthritis).
  13. Be My Baby - The Ronettes
  14. Sweet be damned!!! I'd like to wring the little varmint's neck and throw him in the sautee pan Bunnies are only good when they eat other peoples' stuff. And here I was happy to get away from the squirels who always found a way to get to my basil.

Stay away from this woman who doesn't even know what she doesn't know. Her holiday did not do her any good. She does not even know that celiac can make you OCD Oh, if only we could all fake being well we wouldn't need stupid #%&&es like her.
  16. What else was on the result sheet besides what you posted? Either before or after? They did not give any result.
  17. Probiotics are not just a treatment for diarrhea. They help repopulate your gut with the good healthy bacteria which aid in the digestion of food. Overgrowth of unhealthy bacteria can cause both constipation and diarrhea -- probiotics are the good guys with the white hats whichever you have.
  18. Sun exposure in the southern latitudes under the ozone hole is not recommended for a gal of Irish extraction who has already had basal cell, squamous cell, and malignant (is there any other kind) melanoma. I get my D from supplements, thanks. And I just planted my herbs for the bunnie who roams our patio (in northern latitude)
  19. Uhmmm, don't think I would want to be married to a bearded collie , cute or otherwise. A great Dane, maybe.... or a German shepherd, or a Welsh terrier, an Irish springer spaniel could be good for a romp
  20. If you are overweight because of celiac, it is common once you go gluten free that the pounds drop off whether you "diet" (i.e., low calorie) or not, so long as you gluten free diet. It is a total myth that you have to be skinny and anorexic looking to be celiac. My sister was -- I wasn't. Same genes.
  21. So far as I know, sea salt is okay; it is table salt that has iodine added to it.
  22. But at least you know you have it, even if they don't I have noticed this is a common pattern with Kaiser - they only ever run the tTG (and total IgA) but none of the other celiac tests, they never diagnose when it's positive, they seldom even order endoscopy (you were lucky there), and they don't recognize biopsy findings as being significant. It is such...
  23. Fruits and veggies, excellent!!! Beans, lentils, chickpeas, does she eat white fish? Rice, potatoes. You could make things interesting by making vegetable and rice fritters she could eat with her fingers. I don't know her dairy tolerance but would probably hold off lactose for now, maybe some hard cheese if she likes it. Rice cereals, use Pamela's...
  24. You do not need a doctor's prescription or permission to drop gluten from her diet. It is not something that will harm her in the least and it may well be the answer to her problems. It is certainly worth trying. I would wait and see how it goes before telling because you will only be told not to do it, if anything. (They like to be in control ) Keep...
