  1. Be sure to email the company about your problems. They can't fix it if they do not know.
  2. I see it this way, the distilling process of liquor is suppose to remove all the gluten stuff that cause our bodies to go into a fit. This is probably a true statement, made by a scientist who followed all the steps in the distilling process properly when they did their study. The probability is since making liquor is a business for money and not a non...

  7. 20 minutes. Yep, I'll be running to the bathroom, my tummy will be having a loud talk with me, I get sleepy and I start needing to drink a ton of water. Headache follows, may last a few days. Takes about 4 days before I feel better.

  9. You sound so upbeat. I am proud of you for sticking to it so you can see the results. Gluten free living really does make a huge difference in our lives.
  10. Welcome to the Wonderful World of gluten free living. It is so nice to hear that your dh is wanting you to be healthy. I'm sure he would not mind if you make your household gluten free. It may help. As the others said you may need to cut out the dairy until your intestines heal. I cut out gluten, dairy and soy for the first 6 months. Then I started adding...
  11. Yes it sucks. Tough. Sounds like you've been glutened and are down in the dumps. Next time go, make it an enjoyable time for everyone. Too bad you can not eat the pizza/sub/poisoned salad bar. Enjoy the smell but make it a good memory for your children/dh/relatives instead of making the memory of how grumpy you can be. You children might one day need to...
  12. Picture him on the floor in pain and tell me why you do not have a gluten free household? Now picture you or one of your children on the floor in pain for 45 minutes. It would be a gluten free household right away.
  13. Bea, I do have the same joint problems. I'm sure not help with that but for the dog I suggest getting a Gentle Leader. It will prevent the strain on your arm. It works along the lines of a horse halter. You will have better control, will find training easier and your dog will not have his throat jerked on. I had a 97 pound dog that I was taking to Obedience...
  14. Skippy Natural in this gluten free kitchen with NO problems.
  15. I had to try the link several times before it worked. Maybe the server is busy.

Please be assured that no Fabric Home Care products contain gluten. Usually eating gluten is the cause of this rash - not products applied to...
  18. Hopefully you talked to the manager and did not let this just go. Email them a complaint at least.
  19. If you decide to go out, call to see who have reservations open, start with the gluten free menu place first. Be Sure to tell the place you have someone gluten free dining with you when you call (and again when you are being seated). They need to know ahead of time about this fact especially on a busy night. Do this anytime you go out, do not expect a place...
  20. Also you could check with the company making your Brand to see if it's gluten free. Maybe they have a binder or filler that contains gluten.
  21. Call them now to let them know what dates you will be visiting. Print out some gluten free dinning cards to take with you. Make sure to tell the place when you arrive that you need to eat gluten free and hand them a card. You might post another topic with the name of the resort. Someone here may have stayed there and can give you helpful hints.
