I have never had Candida so I can't help you with your Q?. I have studied it some. Did you ever do a Candida cleanse? Have you tried: oil of oregano, olive leaf extract, probiotics, garlic, caprylic acid, aloe vera juice, a parasite cleanse.... or anything else to try to kill them?

purple replied to hawaiimama's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I have read that it can be caused by Candida die off. My sister(undiagnosed and 50) has really bad breath. One time she said there were bugs flying around her head but not the guy she was talking to. She says it smells like poo or something dead. We are watching her other symptoms. She has always had a mild yeast problem off and on. She has some minor gluten... -

This is an old post but I recently found the store too. Its still there right next to the big red barn. Uncle Ron, sorry I can't answer your Q???. There is a store in downtown Nampa for some gluten free foods but I have never been there. Do you ever go to the Boise Co-Op? It has some things. Do you know of any other places in Treasure Valley?? I wish we had... -

ARCHIVED What's On The Menu These Days?
purple replied to missy'smom's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
sorry for the long post. I tend to not measure when I make salmon patties and add whatever I think of. So this time I wrote down the way I made the little pot pies. They are time consuming. Because there is pie crust, you want the salmon moist. You will need a jumbo 6-cup muffin pan (I got mine from Fred Meyers) its not a regular sized cupcake pan. ... -

I will get back to you on the salmon pot pies. (I'm in the middle of making them right now) I use Kraft thick and spicy brown sugar bbq sauce, or any is fine. Use alot. I sometimes add a few chopped peppers and onions (I sautee them first). Mozzarella and a bit of cheddar. I put the sauce on the crust and mix some with the chicken and spread the... -

ARCHIVED Please Pass Me Your Tried & True gluten-free Banana Bread Recipe
purple replied to TammyK's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
I use the recipe for gluten-free vegan banana bread from recipezaar#301233. I haven't tried any others yet. I sub the rice flour for sorghum and 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon instead of 2 tsp. I have only made muffins with it and bake them for 20-25 minutes. Really good with chocolate chips or raspberry jam inside. I used to make banana crunch cereal banana bread... -

ARCHIVED Those Of You Who Use Digestive Enzymes....
purple replied to jerseyangel's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Dr. Mercola and others say the same thing, that we should get our vitamins from raw food. It is hard to do. Since trying to go gluten free as much as possible, I noticed we eat alot more fresh, raw foods. Just one member is allergic to gluten so far. It's all up to the shopper and the cook...that's me. -

I have been using Country Life fish oil for... -

				ARCHIVED Maybe It's Just Me...
purple replied to imsohungry's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
On our news today, a 32 year old man used Craig's list to lure a woman with a free ipod with the intention to rape her. Evidence: it was 80 degrees and in the evening, she was to meet him at a port-a-potty, he was wearing a black stocking hat, he had his lap top(with rape simulations on it), a bb gun and a knife. She drove by with her husband and saw the... -

				ARCHIVED Coating For Chicken Nuggets

Recipezaar#279351 has a recipe using potato flakes, I have not tried it yet. (thinking they might get soggy?) Recipezaar#301552 has a recipe using gluten-free cornflakes. I have tried it and its really good, the chicken coating is crunchy and doesn't really taste that much like corn. You can sub crumbs. I tried it with Ranch Doritoes which are safe.... -
My 19 yr old daughter has/had a couple of your symptoms. Blood in her stools, bloating. Others are extreme pms, bumps on her face but they didn't itch or hurt, nightmares, fatigue, 2 or 3 hours to fall asleep, "growing pains" when she was little, allergies to dust and animals, doesn't tolerate milk well, always hungry, only 5'4", ovary pain at odd times,...

				ARCHIVED Dr. Mercola's Free Newsletter
purple replied to purple's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
I read that he is against the use of most supplements most of the time. He thinks we should get the vitamins we need from raw food. Many things he has touched on I had already researched and found that he said the same thing. For instance Monsanto and vaccines. However he is human like everyone and we all make mistakes. Is there anything specific that you... -

How To Test Yourself Through Muscle Testing
purple replied to hollyres's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
I talked to my daughter tonite about it and she said that she was taught it in one of her college classes. This was before she ever went to the doc. -
I think a good idea is to eat lightly before going places when you can and then ordering an item that you know is safe. That way you still can join the party and not starve, not be upset, and not be a burden. Costs less too Also pack snacks and then you could eat those and a safe item. If you are at someones house, ask to fix your own food from whatever...
