  1. Food Bullies! I hate Food Bullies!
  2. So sorry! I hope the anticipation is worse than the real reaction.
  3. One jury I was called for had a man stand up and say he couldn't serve because he had Crohn's. First he had to explain why this was a problem in front of the whole room of people. He was visibly uncomfortable doing this and the judge just said he felt he could accomodate him. I felt for him. Then they sent us on a break and then home as they had reached...
  4. Wow, nobody knows why I can only see my old avatar but you all see my new one?
  5. Wow, I was a little surprised to see he still has new breakouts after all this time. Is he getting gluten or too much iodine somewhere? It didn't take this long for me to heal.
  6. SNIFFY911!! Welcome to the forum! I'm very excited because I was just reading the soy thread under this same topic heading and a couple of the people there said soy causes them breathing problems. Go read through that right now and see if you can relate to any of them. Maybe that's your answer.
  7. Don't be discouraged, the PP's are right, you will need to wait for the biopsy interpretation for your results. celiac disease can't be seen with the naked eye but there are more terrible problems that can be seen and your dr apparantly couldn't see anything like that. Yes!! Now get busy eating gluten-free and let us know how you are doing!
  8. Can you post the results from the blood tests? What is your diet like? You said you're trying gluten-free. We could give you some pointers if you could post what a typical's day food is like.
  9. That small amount isn't enough to damage his intestines for testing purposes. It's recommended that children have 6-8 weeks daily consumption for testing.
  10. I take B6 and sublingual B12 (methyl).
  11. I don't eat gluten and haven't for two years and I'm certainly in the bathroom more than 2 times in an eight hour shift. I still have multiple bm's a day and sometimes there's no waiting. It all depends how many years of damage one has and if one's intestines can truly completely heal. Let's give one another the benefit of the doubt because it isn...
  12. I would add vitamin C also. I read an article about the relationship between C & depression. I had my son take it as he suffers depression off and on. It seems to help. I would think if your insomnia is related to the depression it could help that also.
  13. Uncouth, low class behaviour is never acceptable.
  14. I vote for red Twizzlers licorice!!
  15. When you are eating healthy dietary fats and are healing your poor gut, your body can build back muscle that it was living off of before. That part is really scarey because your heart is your main muscle and if you get too far gone before dx, your body will use the heart muscle for nourishment too. That is why severe anorexics can die from heart complications...
  16. That's what it should be! How come I'm still seeing red, white and blue except on the My Controls page? I've always had it change for me before.
  17. Congratulations on a poopy recovery! Imagine my surprise one day when I came home from work and on my tv Dr. Oz was telling a guest, " Now, we're going to take this clay and mold what our poop looks like." And they did! After, he unveiled other clay artwork that demonstrated what all the different levels of poop looked like. He even mentioned celiac...
  18. So glad you're feeling better. Save the big girl pants for tougher battles!
  19. I am computer challenged but I rebooted this morning and I just went in and refreshed twice. I'm still seeing patriotic flowers. Are you seeing that or the watering can arrangement? I'm SO confused....
  20. You are right about the different stages and severities of our outlooks on this new life we have to lead. We didn't choose it but there are severe consequences for not complying and boy, that can really chafe! But let's be respectful of each person's way of dealing with the problem. Because she is in a different place than others, she has her own...
  21. It does? I'm still seeing Fourth of July.
  22. I've changed it repeatedly with different pictures but no go. Help! I'm very tired of the 4th of July arrangement.
  23. There was no fruit that I could eat when I started the GFD. But after a few months, I could eat them all again. I would have dreadful pain from them.
  24. I've really cut out most of the grains but I thought corn was one of those things I was oK with. I had corn last week while I was out and had some incredible swelling in my feet and legs. My ankle was sore too. Maybe since you are all mentioning bloat I should be more careful. I guess that includes popcorn...
