You can buy the bread machine from Anna who sells Anna's bread mix. It's called Gluten Evolution. You can e-mail Anna with any ???? she is a great person and her mix is the very best.. I think I will never have to buy another bread machine because the jor is a power house...... mamaw -
There is a Raisin Rack in Columbus (outskirts or Columbus ) , they have a hugh selection. The conference is on Nov.4 2006 . I go every year......It's $30.00 if you register before Sept.15th,(I think) I don't have the brochure in front of me.$35 after that date. mamaw

artifical sweetners are usually not good for ones health. years ago a doctor told my diabetic relative that he would much rather him use a tsp of sugar in his tea rather than use one of the fake sweetners. He said the real deal would do less harm to his body.My relative took insulin twice daily. this was many years ago & i for one believed what he said... -

Hi & welcome Feeling better after no wheat or gluten ususally doesn't happen overnight,, it will take time for most to notice a difference. Plus you need to be very strict about the diet --- alittle bit is the same as alot. Also you said you eat alot of nuts, that's a big allergen for tons of people. I use challah bread for grilled cheese & I love amy's tomato bisque soup..... I use three different kinds of cheese. I also like the fake rye gluten-free bread for grilled cheese also. mamaw love comfort food!!! -

butternut squash is very good stuffed & baked. I use different things every time I stuff one. Ie: sausage onions,peppers & brown rice. ricotta cheese ,meat,onions,peppers,tomatoes. I use different spices too. Its easy to mix up a favorite combo with the squash. the soup is excellent. sauted with other veggies is good with a bit of italian... -

riceguy you can be treated for nightshade veggies & then you will be able to eat them again........I too was having a reaction to them but I did NAET/ BIo-Set and now I'm fine eating them.I believe reg allergy testing & mainstream doctors can repair that also for you.I don't know what I would do if I couldn't eat tomatoes....... My diet is pretty... -

Does anyone else have trouble with Amy's pizzas baking too brown around the edge & not being done or soggy in the middle? I've tried baking at 400 or 425 and then the edges burn and when I bake at a lower temp it doesn't seem to get bubbly in the center. I do add lots of extras,pepperoni,peppers,mushrooms,onion,black olives and so on. I just baked...

Just another thought on this: I too have that problem and I too eat way to fast..........My doctor said that ,that also sometimes can be related to diabetes, his claim is that people who have insulin problems seem to have undigested food passing.I'm not as bad now since going gluten-free. mamaw -

Hi I get ours at whole foods too. But we like the new Bell&Evans ones now . We get those in a regular grocery that sells Bell&Evans products. When I contacted their website they said that all stores that carry their reg. line would also carry the gluten-free nuggets too. So hopefully you have a store that carries the line. I love the "kit Kat Bars" but I love the Schar ones better. I figure the calories are something Iwill put up with . I don't eat them everyday just when I need to pamper myself..... I'm sure sometime the heart doctor will love me!!!!!!! I haven't found a ready made pie crust that was flakey. I usually put filling in them & don't eat much of the crust... -
