  2. I've tried two brands that were vile . I took my DS to In N Out today for a burger, "protein style" wrapped in lettuce. Bless his little heart, he looked at it and the face he made was so sad But, trooper that he is, he asked if he could take his burger home and have it on some Udi's bread when he got home. Please share your favorite brands of...

  5. I am so glad you are feeling better! Rather than write a long post about my story, I will just say I can echo everything written above. Good for you for taking your health into your hands! BTW, Udi's gluten-free bread is great and doens't need to be toasted
  6. I had a friend who liked Mexican food. Anytime we went out to eat, she ordered Freheetas I usually ordered Fajitas
  7. Mmmmmm! How about turkey gumbo? Sub rice flour for the AP flour. That would be delicious! I was going to suggest Enchiladas with green sauce, if you know a good chesse sub, that would be great. I look forward to the turkey just for the enchiladas!
  8. I love the Mango macadamia. Delicious and no reactions here.
  9. I believe the most common usage of "bless her/your/his heart" is while one is saying something nasty about someone else. For instance: "Mary, bless her heart, is getting quire a butt, isn't she?" That's the context I always heard my Granny, Mom, Aunts using it
  10. They can be absolutely great, as long as your puppy isn't a knucklehead If he is very stubborn, it may not do any good. If he's pretty calm and obedient, they can work like a charm. I used to have a chocolate lab when I lived ITMON (in the middle of nowhere). He was about 120 pounds and you could hear his brain rattle around in his head The fence...

  13. THe same thing happened to me! I developed neuropathy and restless legs AFTER going gluten-free. Doc is fairlysure thatthe neuropathy is from low B12 and RL from low Iron. Have you had yours checked?
  14. Oh, how about "I used to could"! My entire family (from the South) uses that expression Translation: I once was able to do that.

  16. ,Nancy Sorry, I am very guilty How about "I axed him" instead of "asked"?
  17. Remember the "Friends" episode where Joey said "It's a Moo Point!"? Then he explained that "it's like a cow's opinion, it doesn't matter. It's moo."

  19. Believe it or not, I really like the Hunts spaghetti sauce in a can. It's gluten-free and yummy good with those things. Y'all need to stop talking about lasagne now, because I am starving!!!
  20. Sorry you're having trouble! Off topic, but I noticed your signature. Chebe makes a roll/breadstick mix that you add cheese to. They taste just like the breadsticks you mention. I bought it at Whole Foods.
  21. Have you had all your vitamins and minerals checked? I got much better faster when I started supplements for the things I was low on. You should test A, all the B's, D, Ferritin, magnesium, calcium, zinc to make sure your levels are up.
  22. Nadia You may want to speak to your doctor about prescription strength Vitamin D. I am taking 50,000 IU 3x per week and my symptoms are improving.
  23. I think it couldn't hurt. I use mixes that have it, and have better results when I add it in. I made some Chebe mix for rolls/breadsticks the other day and it was yum yum
  24. My doctor told me that elevated IGA means there is an autoimmune issue going on in your body, but is not, in itself a positive Celiac result. However, in our family's case, those were the only abnormal results and we all have Celiac. Hope that helps!
