  1. Nuts, crackers, fruit, seed trail mixes, Skittles, string cheese ( depends on how long and how hot - cheese is usually fine for a few hours out of the cooler), packets of PB, Gopicnic boxes. Have you checked that they will let you bring food in? Some places are pretty bad about that. Some places have lockers at the front of the park and you can leave...
  2. Milk is not gluten - so that part is fine. but barley contains gluten.
  3. I don't want to turn this away from the original question but there is currently no scientific evidence that milk causes celiac antibodies. I am hoping Wullie comes back and clarifies exactly what he or she is asking. They may just be wondering about protein powders you add to smoothies. Open Original Shared Link "is not yet reliable data about cross...
  4. Not sure exactly what you mean? Milk does not contain gluten naturally. Someone would have to add it. So, just the protein should be gluten-free.
  5. You can pick your toast out and wash the bag.
  6. If the coffee doesn't bother you - have a cup! These might help the chocolate cravings- Open Original Shared Link And some more expensive chocolates are soy & dairy free, too
  7. That's fine. But it doesn't mean they aren't gluten-free. They don't have to put that note on the package.
  8. Check out what some of us are making for dinner. Some of us are great cooks and some of us just open a jar of pasta sauce, put it on the pasta add cheese and melt the cheese. You can really eat just about anything. A few things you will need to make adjustments to - like gluten-free noodles or picking a taco seasoning without wheat. https://www...
  9. Sounds like they are gluten-free. They test the machinery for gluten before running a batch of gluten-free stuff. Open Original Shared Link The statement about "processed on the same equipment" is voluntary. You wouldn't even know if they didn't add it.
  10. We like the Chebe mixes. Either the Focaccia or the pizza crust mix. For Pizza crust, we don't add the cheese. I bake it about 10 minutes before I top it. http://www.chebe.com
  11. THe first time I made one, I was so upset. I'm usually pretty calm. My hub - just goop it on. It's fine! And it was.
  12. Yep! Open Original Shared Link Click on nutrition for ingredients
  13. It's so hot here, I think we may just have piña coladas for dinner!
  14. Yes. Sticky is normal. Here is what I do. I lay out plastic wrap on a big cutting mat or extra cookie sheet, plop the glop of dough on it, put more plastic wrap on top, then roll or press out thought the plastic wrap. Then take the top wrap off, use the cookie sheet and flip it over onto what you are cooking it on.
  15. I know you didn't ask me but.... I LOVE the so delicious vanilla coconut milk creamer. I don't even need dairy free!
  16. Just an FYI - the last post on here was from 2008. Obviously, this fish food isn't gluten free as it contains " wheat flower". I'm assuming a typo for flour.
  17. They sell vodka, too? I'm in Kansas and the liquor laws wouldn't allow that. They do sell lovely wine based vinegars! I use the basil olive oil on garlic bread sticks. Toasted seasame oil in stir fry! That stuff is so yummy, I could almost drink it!
  18. Good question. CYA - maybe a little info would help us to help you? How long have you been gluten free,( if you are eating gluten-free)? Have you been tested for any vitamin deficiencies? Thyroid?
  19. I have been wanting to try one. Seems like I would have to eat too much to get my moneys worth!
  20. Do you have one of those olive oil stores? Those are dangerous too!
  21. I thought maybe it was that puppy in he picture. But I know people will google and find this in the years to come.
  22. We have a Penzys store and we have to stay out of it. We get stuff we don't need. Tonight we are going to the baseball game so I'm just packing a ham and cheese. Will get a Redbridge and maybe some popcorn there.
  23. Skippy or Jif or both? Have the little PB cups.
  24. Sounds gluten free. A low fat, low cal training treat are things like Rice Chex or little pieces of plain chicken. And kids like to give them to dogs and can eat them, too! I don't worry too much about the occasional dog biscuit. My dog gets 1 every night at bedtime. A left- over from a training thing with a dog from 25 years ago. Needed the treat...
  25. Just an FYI - some teas are made with barley or called " malted". Those are the ones with gluten. I haven't had this flavor - ginger teas don't agree with my stomach. I have had other flavors and been fine.
