  1. How do you know Brawny contains gluten? This is getting a bit silly, you don't eat paper towels. You don't eat Pledge. At least normal folks don't .
  2. If you aren't going to eat the stuff, which I hope you aren't, it really doesn't matter.
  3. Currently, you can use the little green arrow in the post box to "vote this post up" I did it to your post and you will now see a little 1 to say someone "liked" it.
  4. You might do better buying a flour mix. Like Pamela's. They will have recipes on the bag and on their websites. I have used the Pamelas when a recipe calls for a spoonful or 2 of regular flour to thicken. Or buy a mix, like Chebe focaccia and use it for other things. They have recipes on their websites/FB pages. I made little balls with moz and Italian...
  5. Maybe you can find a way to make the dip with " real" cheese you shred yourself - not the canned stuff? That way it wouldn't have corn oil/ syrup, starch.
  6. Target is the one I got. I couldn't find the Vicks. Walgreens and CVS have a lot of stuff marked gluten-free, too.
  7. Usually, the best idea is to read the ingredients. If you still have questions, talk to the manufacturer. Target store brand cold medicine says gluten-free on the box.
  8. Unless you are just eating these things,( and that would be a whole other issue ) I think I would look around for some other problem.

    ARCHIVED Online Doctor

In the US, a real doctor can't really treat you on-line. This site usually answers emails as best they can but seem to be over-loaded right now. They have a lot of good info on the site that you might find answers your questions. Open Original Shared Link
  10. I bet you & your public area are fun at parties!
  11. No. That wouldn't be it. I have bought ones that say gluten-free on them.
  12. You are responding to a post from 2006. Products change over almost 8 years.
  13. I can't figure out why. Meringue powder shouldn't have any gluten. It wouldn't have the right texture. Sometimes there are odd hings on that list and I'm not sure how they got there.
  14. That's weird. I wonder if there are different things being called meringues?
  15. Whose un safe list? I read ingredients. I suppose a company could make something and call it a meringue but add flour.
  16. Why not go to a doctor and get a celiac blood test? Start from there? Sorry. Missed the part that you have been gluten-free for a few months. Can't get a reliable celiac test without eating gluten for a few months. I know they are trialling some test that can detect celiac after a few days eating it but it's not out yet. You don't say why you think...
  17. If it says gluten-free, it is likely tested gluten-free. I don't worry about the shared facility thing. They do clean the machines but shared facility is different then " may contain wheat". Many times they are even separate machines. Here is a secret - many things may be made in a shared facility and not tell you. Usually the ones that do are the...
  18. Those are all things I would and have eaten.
  19. I never heard of "progressive stage Celiac". If you go gluten-free, it shouldn't be "progressing" Here is some info from Celiac experts. If you are not ingesting it, it should be fine. Open Original Shared Link Is hair loss associated with celiac disease? Hair loss can certainly happen, especially in young adults, but more so as a result of nutrient...
  20. F Forgot about bean flours. They make good pizza crusts because the sauce covers the beany taste
  21. I have never heard of them. But you have posted 5 times before this. Has someone else gotten a hold of your account?
  22. Why do you think its a symptom of eating gluten? Usually, people with Celiac disease have a few other issues? Did you get tested for Celiac?
  23. How about almond flour? Open Original Shared Link For oil - olive, canola, grape seed I don't have a lot of restrictions, but others will come along and help
  24. Maybe it has nothing to do with gluten?
  25. If its really an "essential oil" shouldn't it be purely oil? For a Celiac reaction, you need to eat gluten. Maybe there is something in the oil you are allergic to?
