  1. Click your picture on the top right hand corner. Above you info stuff is a blue box ( right side) " edit my profile". Click On the left side choose : "settings". Then "change email"
  2. Look up Coffeemate. They might have a peppermint flavor. Open Original Shared Link I saw this on a TV show for hot cocoa. Might work for coffee, too. Pulverize a candy cane really fine. Put that in the coffee.

    ARCHIVED Finally!

    Good for you!
  4. Snitch a pack of Splenda at Starbucks?
  5. So.... Did anyone go and find this double post?
  6. I'm not sure what you are saying exactly but it does sound like you are saying I'm lying. I posted the exact letter that I recieved back then. The wheat, rye & barley was in their message. I did not add it. As of that post which I think was about 1 year ago, I would go by the ingredients as listed.
  7. I have found that the artificial sweetener aspartame bothers me. I tried a diet soda with agave ? And was OK. I can drink the diet sodas with Splenda ( sucralose). The artificial sweeteners they put in candy malitol (?) also give me a stomach ache & bloating. Just one more joyous thing to think about!
  8. All you have to do is hit the " report" on the left bottom of the post. Then say its a dupe. You can also tell a joke. Peter really enjoys that!
  9. Some people have a reaction to sucralose. It isn't in regular diet coke. There is a special diet coke with a yellow stripe that has sucralose. Sucralose is Splenda.
  10. I hate the public forums that make you use your real full name and email address. I signed up for one even tho I was a bit uncomfortable. 2 days later, I got an email from someone complaining about everyone on the forum. I shut that account down.
  11. You heard this third hand. Maybe she said something jokingly. Or even " This is delicious. too bad Menhen can't eat this.". He said something a little different to your hub. Hub is a bit sensitive about it & repeated it to you a bit differently. Then you are very sensitive about it & heard it another way. Ever play that telephone game? Smeone...
  12. Thyroid issues can make you tired. There are usually several thyroid levels that are tested for but your GP should know that.
  13. Definitely, take him to an eye doctor. If you can find a pediatric eye doctor, even better.
  14. I think we were posting at the same time. Eating more fiber is better than Benefiber. Maybe you aren't sensitive to gluten. The healthier diet with more fiber, less dairy, & less junk food maybe why your gut feels better. Try to keep up the healthier part.
  15. I agree with Irish. You need to get copies of the actual tests, biopsies, etc. maybe he is reading the tests wrong now. Maybe he didn't even do the correct tests. When I was a teen, I had a thyroid issue. It's not normal for teens to have a bad thyroid. You need an endocrinologist. If your mom doesn't get this, put her on here & let us talk...
  16. Because its meant for an animal, not a human, I'm not sure they have to label peanut, either. In the US there is no standard for what is gluten-free in human food. Not likely there is one for dog food. Usually, gluten-free in dog or cat food means they haven't put a worthless filler, called " gluten" in the dog food. Many times it's made from corn &...
  17. I know it's Ok. I just don't get why it needs flavor added. I know it will be different without salt. Usually, unsalted is in a dish not eaten by itself
  18. I just looked at my butter, Land O Lakes. The regular is " sweet cream, salt" The unsalted is "sweet cream, natural flavoring.". To make up for the lack of salt? Nuts!
  19. Crockin' girls on Facebook. Last year it was in August the weekend before the kids move into the dorm. You might google " gluten free Ft Collins". Or any city and see what you find. You might find some bakeries. They might have a Facebook page that lists info like that bike ride. They did another bike ride Labor Day weekend. You dress up and...
  20. Colorado is the home of Udis ( baked goods and restaurants), Rudis & Canyon Bakehouse breads, new Planet Beer, etc. my son lives in Ft Collins and they had a gluten-free bike tour of the gluten-free places to eat. Try googling the nearest big city and celiac support group. Or look at these: Open Original Shared Link Try this website for some...
  21. Never heard of plain butter with gluten in it. If it has wheat, it would have to list it. I moved this because it's about a product.
  22. Go to the main forum page. At the bottom it says " moderating team". Click that. Admin is at the top of us. Click his picture then choose personal message under his lovely picture.
  23. It's on the list, amongst the potato options.
  24. The asterisk says it varies and may not be available at every store. The first time I went to Wendy's the manager said to always say " Wheat Allergy". Not everyone speaks English but they know what that means. Don't let them open the potato. Keep it wrapped up. They also said they weren't confident that they hadn't gotten crumbs in the shredded cheese...
  25. All that washing is making them dry. Dry a gluten-free lotion or cream like Cera Ve. We use the cream & it's not too greasy. Keep it by the sink. My hub takes it in his pocket in a little pill container.
