    Checked out school district website, parent handbook & the elementary school website. Not a mention of classroom parties or food in the class rooms. Really no mention of allergies at all.I

    I don't do well with whole corn but fine with processed corn like chips or tortillas. I know no one digests whole corn well but it gives me pain. I do OK with popcorn as long as I don't eat a huge amount. Ah, the mysteries of digestion!

    If you received the gene from a parent, you can pass it to a child. These are genes you can have but, unless they " activate", you can be disease free.

    Modified food starch is usually corn. If it's wheat, they have to say. Carmel color is gluten-free. If it's made from wheat they have to say it. It would list malt if or barley malt if it co gained that.

    If you are talking about KC masterpiece it says it lists the ingredients. It cannot legally hide wheat. I think your main issue with this food is that it was made by someone else who may have cc'ed it in their kitchen.

    The PB in the washer might need some WD40 & a plastic knife. greasy though. Might need to run a wash after it with just a box of baking soda. Have you tried the green aloe gel for a sunburn? It's made by Banana Boat and maybe some others. Very cheap at Walmart or Target. Yes you can force a 19 year old. Cut off his funding. Take away his car...

    I think all except one location that is not actually owned or controlled by Minsky's.....some odd thing. The pizza is small and expensive. I'm the only one in the family that eats it so it's fine.

    May become your new Sunday afternoon family activity. Drive to different parts of the area. See the HyVee, and Bass Pro shop. See the HyVees & Whole Foods and Deanna Rose farm Park.

    How many patients have you diagnosed with Celiac? How many biopsies of the small intestine will you take? Even if it looks good in there? Answer should be at least 6 and even if it looks good because it's hard to see with a scope.

    If you aren't going to move out, you will continue to live in this war zone. Get some locking boxes or a lock for your room if you have a room to your self. Keep all your food & cooking stuff locked up. Just saw plastic " camp" boxes at Walmart. You can put a padlock on them. Might need a mini fridge you can lock, too. Nice big one $87 at Walmart...

    Not sure where you live, but the HyVee on 135 th & Antioch has a huge amount of gluten-free I've heard the one inLenexa and the one in Olathe on Ridge View have a big selection. The one on State Line & 123 and the one in PV are not as big but still good. You will find things that are naturally gluten-free & cheaper - like a lot of fruit...

    Ah! Now I have the " true" story! There was a car jacking at gunpoint. From a hospital parking lot. The guy stole a car with 2 small children, the families life savings, a great grandma's ashes , oxygen tanks, diabetes monitor and a small kitten. Shroomie saw what was happening.     If it's wheat, they have to come out & say it. I'm not sure why rye or barley ( malt) would be in potato salad.

    Since Shroomie isn't telling , we can only guess what happened. Some of my guesses: Fell off the top of a mountain. Accident water skiing on Lake Tahoe Skateboarding accident Too many $1 drinks at the casino, tripped on an Ace of Spades that fell off the Blackjack table Some of the cattle on the south side of town stampeded thru the neighborhood....

    Many things are gluten-free but they don't list it because they don't test it. I would eat it if the ingredients look OK. Read all the ingredients not just the "allergen statement". As long as they state the allergen in the ingredients, they don't have to list it twice.

    Good job! You can make extra rice an freeze it in a baggie with your name on it. Then pop it out when you need some. I have found it stays good in the freezer for 3 months. Sometimes I cook little bits of carrot with the rice for a little added nutrition.

    Just spoke to Hornsbys. The Crisp Apple flavor is gluten-free. The Amber flavor has a trace amount of gluten. whew! I have been drinking the crisp apple flavor & enjoying it on a hot day! I wish they had to list ingredients like food does.
