  1. I would think that, because you are still haveing problems, they might want to do an endo & colonoscopy to check for other things. While they are there, could they, please, just do 6 biopsies of the small intestine. Then we would know for sure doc?
  2. You can get a "camp box" or "dorm chest" or a "truck box" at Walmart or a large hardware store. They have a place to put a lock. There are also small fridges that have a place for a lock. In college, my hub rigged up a latch - can't remember how but he might remember if you need to know. Or lock the room but that might not work if Goober sleeps there...
  3. Good point. I was going to tell him to get the kind at the butcher counter. At the grocery he goes to, they have nothing injected.
  4. Wanted to add- maybe an older family or pediatric dentist would be more conservative. These are teeth that will fall out in 4 years.
  5. I have Delta, too. Dentists always take xrays of the teeth. delta pays for it. Sucks how they don't pay for pain manag ement, even in little kids. Both my boys have had the gas. They were teens. One was mellow and enjoyed the floating feeling and fell asleep. The other kept having bad dreams & kicking and hitting. As he is 6 1 and 175 pounds...
  6. A colonoscopy isn't for diagnosing Celiac. You need an endoscopy with ,multiple biopsies. celiac is in the upper ( small) intestine. A colonoscopy looks at the lower ( large intestine). Sorry. Yours isn't the only GI who doesn't know what he is doing.
  7. Taco bell really has nothing that is gluten-free. Maybe a Pepsi. Open Original Shared Link Whoops! They don't even list the Pepsi - just rice or beans
  8. 2 thoughts Get the xrays and get a second opinion with a pediatric dentist Get the xrays and go to the nearest dental school What about laughing gas? About $75 an hour and very safe.

  10. This looks like this company is applying for a patent. I would think they would have to test it before it would be legal. Really doesn't say what they expect it to do for us that I see. My other thought is, why take an unproven perhaps unsafe medication for an illness with a natural solution.
  11. I agree with Scott. If they really worked, they wouldn't be selling them on the internet.
  12. Fillers in sausage or hot dogs Is considered cheap and poor quality here in the US.
  13. Actually, I have heard from people in the UK that many sausages are not gluten-free. In the States they almost always are gluten-free.
  14. This sounds great! It sounds like its got some good nutrition and the only sodium is in the butter (which I could sub for unsalted). I need low sodium for my mom who isn't wanting to eat. What size is the can of pumpkin? I have seen 2 sizes of other brands.
  15. I don't know about the hair dye, it doesn't bother me & it stays away from my mouth & hands. My stylist does like to spray de-tangler, body boosters, hair spray, etc. Some of them have Wheat germ oil listed.
  16. Should be doing something but its too hot to move! Which got me thinking about the hot move GFM is having. Wondering - Have the ILs melted yet? - What of the trailer full of junk? - Will gluteny or dairy foods sneak into new house? - Has FIL made peace with the hotel? - Will the top story on the national news...
  17. Whatever I decide to put on the sidewalk to cook! 104 F at 6:30 pm.
  18. At 6:30 it was 104 plus humidity of 45%. Great night for a Lacrosse game! I shall melt, just watching. I told M to volunteer to bring the pet rodents home for the weekend from the day vamp he is working at. I can't bear to think of the poor things in the heat. I will drive to the camp ( usually he takes a bus) to rescue the poor GP, ferret & chinchilla...
  19. Sounds like we must all flee to Jess's. Move over chickies. I would prefer the purple diaper, myself. If you are requiring them.
  20. My 15 yr old spent last week in Canada canoeing. They had one day that might have been 80. Wore sweat shirts in the a.m.s This week & next he is working at a day camp in 95-100 F . With lacrosse games some evenings. I think of him & realize I'm fine.
  21. No. DH is a skin problem. A Dermatologist biopsies next to the "pimple" & it is sent to the pathologist for a microscopic look. An endoscopy is used to diagnosis the small intestine damage from Celiac. Multiple Biopsies are taken of the small intestine & looked at microscopically. A colonoscopy is the large intestine so your confused doctor...
  22. Colonoscopy looks at the wrong end. You need an endoscopy with small bowel biopsies to diagnose Celiac
  23. Its not rude to put them in a hotel. We expect a full report.
  24. This is just a way to make some chicken they can use for salad or sandwiches. The Litehouse mix is freezedried herbs only. Celery is full of sodium. I refuse to do all the cooking or shopping for them. I have to be careful or that could happen.
