  1. This poster hasn't been on in 4 years so not likely she will see your message. Maybe someone newer will see it?
  2. Poor little Goober Hit head on evil table Lungs are working great!
  3. We have SAn-J at the regular grocery stores, Target & I think Walmart. Probably cheaper at Target or Walmart. On the San-J, I know a certain large chain of "CHINESE" food that uses it in a lot of the dishes, not just the ones marked gluten-free. SH!
  4. Did you try using the google in the top right corner? It looks like there has been some discussion of this product before, recently.
  5. Congratulations! Welcome to the club! Too bad it doesn't come with the Prize Patrol & a big check!
  6. Here's a list of some safe foods that people question. Blue cheese is on it. Once upon a time, the blue part was grown on wheat then added to the milk part. Most companies don't do that anymore. Even if they did, the blue mold eats the wheat up and changes it to blue mold. https://www.celiac.com/articles/181/1/Safe-Gluten-Free-Food-List-Safe-Ingredients...
  7. You are responding to a 5 year old posting. Looking at Farmer Johns bacon website, it doesn't list malt, Maltodetrin, dextrin, or wheat. Please note that maltodextrin is not made from barley. In the US & Canada it is usually made from corn. This is a list of safe ingredients: https://www.celiac.com/articles/181/1/Safe-Gluten-Free-Food-List...
  8. He would lift it over the rails & rest 2 wheels on the edge of the balcony that stuck out, en I would grab it & hold it while he ran around the building. Then he would take it. I would lower a chair so he could go up & down. Remember, we were young back then. Some guys get so excited about grilling.
  9. But of course!
  10. Once again, Thank you For writing my own Haiku I can't get it right
  11. It wasn't too bad. It goes in stages with time in between. Plus, I have 3 other "adults" in the house to work on them. We are going to make several batches for the annual 5th of July picnic & fireworks. (yes 5th, everyone works at the Frieworks stand on the 4th)
  12. Will this be his first grill? My hub was so excited when he got his first grill. It was one of those tiny on the ground ones. Maybe get 4 hamburgers on. He had a basement apartment, with a small street level window. He would stand on a chair, open the window & stick the grill out to cook. When we got married, we got a regular sized Weber. Against...
  13. Me too! Mine was not a Haiku.
  14. What about a green salad base ( green leaves). Then bowls of gluten-free things to put on it. Leave off the cheese because you don't want it in your house. Cook some chicken & shred. Get some cold cut ham & cut up. Sunflower seeds, different veggies, salad dressings, fruits. Will take a bit of cutting up the day before but pack one box with the...
  15. I'm not doing well, here! I tend more to Dr. Suess! Gluten I do not like it in a bread I do not like it in a bed, I do not like it on my threads, I do not like it, it will make me dead!
  16. Honestly, I think you are mad at the wrong person! It's your husbands mother, not yours. He should have told her before you came about food issues. He should be the one to talk to her well before the next visit about what you want to do about food. I think she was blindsided and probably a bit hurt that she wasn't told about your illness. You should...
  17. Corn & rice Chex work well for little ones. They break easily in the mouth and melt quickly. Also, the gluten-free Rice Krispies would be good. You could get a couple of outrageously pink or purple hand towels so everyone except the little goober will know they are yours.
  18. No! No! Sorry! That was a rather abrupt post. My son was trying to explain in minute detail a fix he had made on his car, with hand gestures. I'm supposed to look like I understand it. But I am glad when a teenager wants to talk to his mom. I thought you might like to see our previous attempts. We should do ones about Celiac! I like Haikus...
  19. we tried end of year summary Haikus.
  20. Get a new doctor. His response to gluten free is enough for many doctors to diagnose him. The test will peobably be negative again if he is IgA deficient. Making him sick for 3 months is inhumane.
  21. Here's the ingredients from the web page. They say "May contain Wheat" but don't list it as an ingredient. GM does seem to like to make things gluten-free, so maybe they are going in that direction with this cereal. Open Original Shared Link
  22. They are gluten free, if that is the question. Many people will say they aren't good for you but they are gluten free. If you don't have a problem with soy or MSG, they are fine.

  24. Can you get into the new house the day before? Leave drinks & food & grill, crockpot, etc there.
  25. No one would miss the bread. Get some chips, too. I never served bread with that before I went gluten-free. Sounds yummy. I'll help you move!
