  1. The Pacific & Kitchen Basics are tastier & lower sodium. If you buy them at Walmart or Target they are much cheaper than at the grocery around here. If you don't need so much, you can freeze half or they keep in the box in the fridge for awhile.
  2. I use Kitchen Basics or Pacific. They have slightly different ingredients. I know one has mushroom & one doesn't. My SIL can't have mushrooms. MIght be something in the Swanson's that bothered you? Usually the Kitchen basics has less sodium then the low sodium swansons. They also have a no salt if you can find it.
  3. Its not against the rules. We have just had some very odd people on here at times.
  4. No... Your name is now on this forum, C.com, forever. Anyone can see it. It might be OK now but 6 months or a year from now you might not like that people know your full name. That's why I suggested you PM each other your full names on this forum.
  5. Electric Slide - Grand Master Slice Had to look that one up to see who recorded it
  6. I think its great to meet here & talk on FB. I have done it,too. I love seeing pics of peoples kids and gardens & pets. I just think you might regret having your full name on this forum forever. I usually PM people with my real name. I don't know what the timeing is but, there is a small time period to edit your posts & then they are there...
  7. Valerie, Are there other things you can't eat besides gluten? If not, there are lots of things to eat. Even before I had to be gluten-free, sometimes a new recipe would turnout like crap. Usually my hub was too polite to say that, but he would say, "Let's not have this again" or " MAybe if you used less ----- or more -----". We had a new dessert...
  8. If your still around: Tell me about your cat? What's the name, color, personality? Tell me something funny about the kitty. What does the cat like to eat? Where did you get it? Is it one of those cats that purrs super loud all the time?
  9. Check out the info here. It tells you about testing & you can print it out for your doc. Because it's from other docs, yours might look at it. Open Original Shared Link
  10. Behave yourselves! We do not want to scare Kiwi away! I saw her(?) on another thread & told her to drop by. Those POW pictures of us might scare her off!
  11. Doesn't sound like gluten from what you said. Do you have a pet? Pet them, watch them, play with them, walk around the block with them. Concentrate on the pet for 10 minutes. You can do that. If you don't have a pet, is there something else you like to do? A crossword or knitting? Try to concentrate on it for 10 minutes. Sometimes...
  12. Well...Golly! Gosh! My goodness sakes! Hope your feeling better today! ( that was a really poor attempt at cussing!)
  13. This is from the Celiac Center in Chicago. It explains about low IgG. One of my boys was low but they told me not low enough to affect the test results. Also, you can email them with specific questions about the lab work if you include a copy of the lab. I assume you have seen the actual paper results? As we have found out here, some docs don't always...
  14. Get the right tests done the first time. Insurance might not pay the second time and who wants to wait longer? Send or take this to the doctor: Open Original Shared Link Antibody Testing: Only A First Step To help diagnose celiac disease, physicians first test blood to measure levels of certain antibodies. These antibodies are:
  15. Ah yes! A Zombie son! You can now tell everyone he is an actor in a real film! But, did he have to take a drug test for this job like J did? She has the 2 "teenagers" that must be about ready to leave home.
  16. I feel I have something worth reporting: Salmon on the girll with a grilled pinepple salsa, rice, peppers, cheese casserole, a lovely Chardonny.. Oink!
  17. Should have said - large branch?
  18. Super Woman!
  19. Teeny dog would zip thru the fence when he was young and try to play with my dog at the time, a lab, pit, pointer mix. My son jumped in just in time as my dog was about to share his stick ( some would call a firewood log ) with the little one by dropping it on him.
  20. Chickens are not allowed! They stink & they might eat our children!
  21. These ones with the big yard, don't cut things down & its frustrating to the rest of us that it hurts. 3 years of fighting the poison ivy they won't take care of that comes in others's yards. Told them how to. finally Hub went over the fence & took care of it. They have old trees with dead branches that are going to fall on other peoples yard....
  22. Other gluten-free Beers available in some areas: St Peter's (not all are gluten-free so check) Greene's New Planet Hard Ciders are gluten-free A lot of the websites for liquor companies have a Facts area that will say "gluten free". Might check before heading to the store.
  23. Sorry! We have had some repeats. Its' Raining Men - The Weather Girls
  24. I can still eat Lobster & buttah! I can't eat sticky, mushy white bread!
